I had used Power Home Remodeling previously for installing two sliders in my basement. I was comfortable with their process and the quality of their work. The price for the number of windows was quite good in my opinion and I was satisfied with the initial contract. The crew arrived promptly as requested (I had an early AM doctor's appointment) and began to set up immediately. All four guys introduced themselves and started to work carrying the new windows to appropriate rooms, ripping out old windows and starting the install. They were very careful to keep my three cats inside the house - not easy since the workmen were in all rooms at once! They carefully stepped over the dog who insisted on being right in the line of traffic. Since I am arthritic and 70 years old, they moved heavier furniture and took down shades for me. I had moved lighter furniture and draperies before they arrived. Two days were scheduled for this process but most of the work was completed in one day. The workmen cleaned up, vacuumed, replaced furniture, shades and drapes. They actually volunteered to fix a couple of "honey-do" items that they noticed while finishing the job. I was shown how the windows operated and had great fun trying them all out. I should actually be able to clean them myself in future. And the cats are excited that the windows open easily. The only problem was a mis-measured hemi- circular window in my sunroom. This window has been reordered and will be installed next month. I find that the sales group for Power Home Remodeling can be a bit more aggressive that I like but the window sales person was respectful of my time and really gave a good presentation of the product. With as many windows as I was replacing, this is a large monetary outlay but I feel the whole experience has been very pleasant.

Everything went great. They did a really nice job and cleaned up after themselves nicely.

The project went very well......Prompt, courteous and very hard-working. Crew arrived at 8 a.m. and finished cleaning up at 9 p.m. Our home has a rather large roof with a number of different peaks and valleys. The new roof looks just excellent and I highly recommend Power Home Remodeling Group.

Always treated professionally and my home respected. Initial consultation was very thorough and informative. Price may be more than some, but quality of product is worth the price. Very satisfied with the entire process, from initial consultation rirht through installation.

All goods and services weredeliverd exactly as promised. They arrived on time got straight to work and kept my home neat and clean as the worked progressed. The workers were amiable and professional at all times. All work went smoothly and was done beautifully. I couldn't be happier with the service and the windows and doors are top quality.

They forced me to cancel the appointment because they wanted me to reschedule because my sister(half owner) was not going to be there. Doesn't make sense to me since I'm the decision maker on the property. I'll let you guys know who I get to do the siding.

The windows themselves are of top quality, the installation was an abomination. They put no insulation on the top and bottom of the windows, and virtually none on the side. What little materials that they did use were the wrong materials for insulation against cold, so all the windows are literally installed with an opening all around each window. This winter, there was so much draft around the windows that you could hold a piece of paper next to them and see and feel the wind blowing through. I purchased a digital remote thermometer and showed the technician the temperature around the window, and he had no answer for this. They sent another technician who pulled a window; it was then that I noticed that there was zero insulation on the top, bottom and virtually none on the sides. I research and obtained rubber material that would insulate the top and bottom properly. We made a test installation on two windows in one room using this rubber and expanding foam on the sides. When they came back to finish the rest of the window insulation, they came back with cheaper rubber and installed it on the other 23 windows, only 2 of the 25 windows have the correct rubber installed.We measured the temperature difference on the sill of the test windows vs the rest of the windows and on a 55 degree day found the difference to be 2 degrees Fahrenheit. I requested that if the temperature difference is 5 degrees or more on a cold day that they would return and reinstall the windows with the better rubber. I spoke to the company that I have my heating unit contract with and they felt that a 5 degree difference would represent a large difference in my gas bill. I requested, that they put in writing,that if the difference was 5 degrees or more they would replace the rubber. Now their stance, is they have had a second installation of insulation in my home and they say that if I find a vast difference in the rubber I supplied vs. what they supplied, that they don’t have to meet my requirements. I want them to come back and install the proper "R" rated insulation, I even provided them samples of the correct material to use as insulation on my home. They also replaced the minor leaking gutter, when they replaced the gutter, it became a major problem. The leak was not really the gutter, it turns out that there was a problem with the roof. I think it’s pretty dishonest to get a quote to have my gutter repaired, when it was not the gutter causing the problems in the first place. They could have told me that the roof is the problem and not the gutter, so I could have had this fixed, especially due to the fact this company works on roofs as well. Now I am dealing with a bigger problem than I was to begin with.

The provider arrived on time and went about work in a very professional manner. They also took away the old windows. the did a very good job of interior and exterior clean up.

The roof and windows look great, the work was done as promised. Everything was cleaned up as they said it would be. The only issue I have is when the first "salesperson" came to talk to me about the roof, he presented himself well. However it was soooo long, I did try to hurry him up as much as possible. But it still went on too long, unless you are talking to someone who has no idea about roofs, etc, the explanationl/ sales pitch needs to be shortened. I really didn't appreciate the 3 hours that it took. Just the facts!

Smooth, easy process from start to finish. Professional staff who showed up on time for every appointment and completed the project exactly as promised. Managed to remove 3 layers of shingles from my roof and remove all debris the same day! My place is just as clean as before they arrived. My roof looks amazing too. The hard working 6 man crew that arrived only took a 15 min lunch break so they could get the job done in the dry window they had due to rain showers in the area. And they were very helpful answering any questions I had. Today gutters get installed but so far this company has been great to deal with. Its refreshing to have a company do as they promise and show up when they say they will. It's the little things that matter most.

Everything went fine at each stage of the project. The initial presentation took about three hours but the sales person was very thorough and professional. At each stage of the project there was a different project manager that we were constantly in contact with. Altogether I believe we had about four different crews on our property at different intervals of the job. They were not stepping over each other at any time due to the great coordination of the project manager's. If they told you they would be here at a certain time; they were here. It has been quite some time since I have even come close to having a top notch company like Power Remodeling Group do work for me. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed and also would feel proud to recommend their services to my family and friends. In a nutshell they were: Professional, Punctual, Polite, Clean, Efficient, and Skilled in their various areas of expertise......I could go on and on but I wont.

They were great. I like the materials they used.

We have been approached by Power twice now. Each time it was by a man uninvited and unannounced who rings your door bell. After answering the door they usually ask if you need any work done, windows, etc. When we ask if they have a brochure they show you one that they have in their hand but will not hand it to you. I then said if you don't have any brochure or something you can give to me about the company, I'm not interested. Then they say well if you get an estimate on work needed, the estimate will be good for a year and then ask when are you usually home. That is a BIG red flag. You never ask when people are usually home. That is a dead giveaway that someone is looking to get into the house when the homeowners are not home. One of the men actually handed the brochure over and when we said we were not interested in getting an estimate at that time before researching the company, the man ran up the stairs and ripped the brochure out of my hand and went back down the stairs. This company employs intimidation tactics to get work or hire individuals that are looking to break into your home. I would never do business with a company that does business in this fashion. This last guy that came today when he was leaving, was looking into our windows while he was leaving. That made me very nervous and suspicious. If these people come back again, I'll make sure to call the police.

They showed up when they were supposed to. They were professional.

Very well. I love the new windows. They left the house very neat.

They did a really, really good job. They cleaned up behind themselves. The products are good. No air is coming in or at all.

They were fantastic. They explained everything they were going to do, they went through the entire process, they spent over 2 hours with me at the very beginning. They sent out a team and said they would get it done in a day and it was even raining. They did an absolute terrific job. They cleaned everything up. I did not have a nail in the yard and I have not found one in the last 4 months since they have been here. They have guaranteed the products lifelong. There was no mess, no pieces of shingle in the yard, no nails and I have had people from the block say that they have had service from other companies and they still find nails in their yard. They are afraid to mow their lawn because the nails are still in the yard. They are expensive but they use the best materials, they don't contract labor. Those people work for them. The warranties on everything is 50 years plus, and that is from them and the manufacturer. They were responsive but when you contract with them they are 3 weeks up. Anybody else is going to be the same.

About 2 months in the new house and rep from Power Home Remodeling came to my door asking if I needed any work done. I talked to him for a minute a scheduled for an appointment to measure a few windows. I then researched the company and saw from other reviews that the prices seemed a bit on the high side of where I want to be. They called me back a few days before the appointment and at that point I cancelled. I let the woman know I wasn't interested and apologized for scheduling without following through. She was persistent in trying to get me to change my mind, I politely declined and she got a little rude and just hung up on me. Since then I have received a few phone calls and I get someone knocking on my door every few weeks, they just don't take no for an answer. Different people every time. I try to be polite and tell them no and they just don't want to hear it, the guys that keep coming to my door just get rude and disrespectful. The last guy here just turned his back and walked away from me while I was talking to him. Very pushy and unprofessional. I wont even consider using this company.

I am normally pretty mild mannered, but this company left such a bad taste in my mouth, I want to warn everyone else so they don't have to go through what I did. They are "high pressure" in their business practices to try and dupe you into doing business with them. Their tactics come across amateurish, and what do you get for all this fun way of doing business? The most ridiculous quote you have ever seen (mine was for a full roof redo). Other quotes i got were between $10-13K for top quality product, as it's important to compare apples to apples, as there are many grades of roof remodeling. They will go on and on about all their materials, when a local company rated tops and uses the same exact materials and certifications etc, took 1 hour and was $10,000 less for the exact same job. Power's price? $23,500 but if we did it "that night" they would do it for $21K.... They pretend to show you stats of the "average roof job" nationwide being $30K....really??? Where? I only found them b/c they grabbed me at a local home expo show and promised a free quote....I said i won't need a roof for a few years, but they said, "b/c your at an expo, we will honor your quote for 5 years....so i said ok....why not? Worst decision i made....They show up and give you a ridiculous presentation before ever doing any measuring or looking at the roof. I have to say the salesmen were very nice and polite, and appreciated his hard work in the presentation they have to go through by corporate. Everything feels very rehearsed though, like it's robot training from corporate. Say this when customer says this, etc. Then after finally measuring, there are more presentations before they blow you away with the price.....all total, sales reps were here 6 hours (630pm to 1230 am).....That is ZERO exaggeration. HIGH HIGH pressure to sign that night. I could write so much more about their tactics, their lying, their shenanigans they pull etc... At 1230am, it became clear the only way to get them out was to agree to the contract, my wife just wanted them out of the house, so we agreed (I was hungry and hadn't eaten dinner). Woke up the next day and exercised our 3 day right to cancel the contract. Called them and overnight mailed the cancellation letter. I also asked them to stop the finance application as well, they said no problem. They just needed to send a "3rd party courier out" to pick up the original contract with me signing it saying I no longer wanted it. We made "an app't" for that (weird right?) and at that time, who shows up? NOT a 3rd party courier, the original salesman from POWER. What did he do? Tried to sell me again at a lower offer than the first night, and had the nerve to say, "but you would have to sign right now to get it at that price." What is this, amateur hour? Every company I have had since gives you an estimate (in an hour no less) and says, call me if you're interested, it's good for 30 days and is out the door. NO GAMES LIKE POWER. Once again, I am not ripping on the actual salesman b/c it became obvious to me this is a top down company strategy, and he is just doing what is told from above. Again, I actually liked the salesman, but the company reaks of amateurish business and sales tactics. Oh, and did i mention they screwed up our credit history too? They never cancelled the credit and finance application, so now it's on my credit report AND I have a $23,500 credit outstanding on a card I don't want for a project I cancelled the next morning. The truth is I could go on and on, this doesn't begin to describe all their little games they play. There isn't a home improvement company I would recommend less. Looking back, I wish I never went to the Home Expo in the first place b/c I never would have met this company. Be warned.

The workmen were very punctual and courteous. They repaired some tile work that had been affected when the windows were installed. They also installed a new door. I was upset to find out that I could not keep my storm door but when I spoke to the project manager, he was able to compensate me so that I wasn't so upset by the process. However, I think I should have been told about the storm door when I contracted for the door. They also did not bring the key code apparatus for the door but, before they left, they had already made a date for when that would be installed. I think this company is very responsive and responsable.

They were good. I recommended them to other people. All I can vouch for is my roof. They do other outside work but I didn't do any from them. The roof was good. They were prompt with me. They were on time and they were courteous. I didn't have any problems with them. I don't have any leaks. The roof is still up there. One looked a little loose to me. They sent somebody out to fix it right away within a reasonable time. As long as it's not leaking and all the shingles are still there. One of my other neighbors used them. He knocked on my door and I didn't even know him. He is on the other block and he told me that he watched them do the roof. He wanted to know who they were which I gave him the information. They weren't cheap.

They spent over three hours going over what they would do and why they were better than other roofers. It was a great education on roofing, but so glad we said no. Price started at 42K, then they said 30K if we did right then and also pushed financing at nearly 10%! Since they were the first roofer we spoke to we said we had to check others- and yet he still kept pushing us to see yes. It turns out the roofer we decided to use also offer everything Power was, and even better was the roof they use was a Consumers Report best buy and we were able to get a 50 year full contract with labor for 25 years. And the cost? 14K. This was less than 1/2 of what Power asked with everything Power was offering!. So if you get a quote from Power make sure you compare against others in what they charge and what they give. Update- just had a new roof put in by Saenz Contractors who were great (see my review). If you need a roof I would recommended getting a quote from Saenz.

The crew showed up on time, for the first days work, they removed all the old shingles and rubber roof on a low slope roof. Replaced the sub-roof and cut in new vents on the front and back of the roof. Laid down new plywood leveled the old serface did all the preventive applications I requested because of a past ice damning problems and laid down new shingles and low slope Tribuilt. They did all of that work in one day! The following day a new gutter and down spouts were put up in the back of the house. However, the gutters need to be fixed due to two leaks that were noticed during the first rain, an appointment for this fix is already made and I have no doubt it will be corrected.

The service was wonderful. The workers were punctual and arrived on the early side of the estimated time frame. The workers were efficient and personable. They cleaned up and searched around the yard to make sure there were no little pieces left behind. The gutters look great!
