Power Home Remodeling

Very heavy pressure and sales pitch which is so subtle you are hardly aware of its presence. The sales pitch was good and the quality of work was good, but the expense is out of this world. I found several local prices which were much less, but unfortunately, I had already obligated to the contract. The price I am paying Power is more than the locals were charging, plus the Power expense did not include insulation! Would have gone local had I taken the time to reconsider. The sales pitch works well if you have a hard time saying "no". Tried to then sell me windows, entry door, and insulation via the same sales pitch which would have cost me a total of almost $45,000.00.

The work was incredible. They were so clean, all off the neighbours have been so impressed.

Our first contact with a Power Home Remodeling rep was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and we didn't feel like he was talking us into getting more than we need. He gave us an honest assessment about which windows needed to be replaced and which we could wait on. The guys that can to do the pre-install inspection were great as well. The appointment was fast and easy. We found the actual installation crew to be good but not excellent. The clean up job was not as good as i would have hoped. We found white caulk and paint chips inside and outside of the house after they left. There were also a couple scuff marks on the surrounding walls and window moldings. All in all we had a good experience and would hire them again.

It went wonderfully, I felt the difference immediately. I have an old home, and 10 years previously I had windows installed that did not seal properly, and keep my house properly sealed and insulated. They did great, and even installed proper insulation where needed. It was a lifetime warranty, and I would recommend them to anyone.

This was by far the most impressive thing we've ever seen, the roofing crew showed up this morning just before daylight...re-roofed the entire thing in less than 4.5 hours!! The professionalism of everyone we've met from the company has been so comforting. We highly recommend them!!

For both projects, I was very happy with my roof and now my windows. They've been professional from the start, I'd recommend them to anyone!

Extremely well. People were punctual, professional and helpful. Clean up was perfect. A large window (equivalent of two windows) and a "third" window were replaced.

From the start of this project, this company has been wonderful. Everyone we worked with throughout the process was professional, extremely knowledgeable and capable. The windows themselves are beautiful and were installed with precision. There was great financing available so we really could not be happier.

They came with a three man crew , and arrived within half hour of time told. They removed old bay window and sliding glass door. Project took a little longer than they anticipated but communicated with me through whole process. Stayed past dark to ensure everything from outside solid and sealed. They were missing one piece of trim for interior, so he explained to me he could try to find something similar at hardware store, or come back on weekend to finish up . Crew leader came back out on Saturday and ensured all work was finished in about 2 and half hour time frame. They cleaned up everything even vacuuming after themselves . Loved the finished product. Courteous , and thorough , no shortcuts taken. Would definitely hire again.

I inherited my house 3 years ago. The bay window had been leaking for years. I was quoted many prices that were way too high for me to handle. I had given up on looking and until I was approached my Power knocking on my door. I decided to entertain one more estimate. To my surprise, I decided to replace the bay window. No only was it my cheapest option, but the company was the best I had heard about so far and their quality was better than any other companies product. Their warranty is also second to none. Power has been nothing short of phenomenal in every way.

This company is phenomenal! From start to finish, the experience was perfection and every single thing they do is gold-star standard. Every person on staff from the sales people to the project foremen to the managers & even the customer service phone reps, every one of them is friendly, courteous, conscientious, punctual & purely professional. A knock on the door started it all, and to be honest, we assumed that this was just another contracting company looking to grab business fast & furious. However, since our home is indeed in need of work, I decided to go forward in finding out what they were offering. After the initial visit, I received a call from the company headquarters to schedule the estimate appointment. They were wonderful in working with me on a convenient time that fit into my hectic schedule (I work in Manhattan so getting home at a reasonable hour during which most companies operate can be very difficult & near impossible). On 9/28/16, Rob Gasko came out to do the initial estimate (which was completely free) in the evening during the week after I arrived home from work. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and taught me more than I ever could have known about the roofing process and common issues that arise that cause the need for repair/replacement. He was super friendly and guided us through a presentation about the company's background along with the information about what indicators to look for in the roof etc as well as a demo and information on the products Power uses vs the industry standard. All the while, I never felt pressured to do or buy anything. Rob's demeanor coupled with the company's reputation and most of all the clear & apparent difference in quality of the building materials that Power uses sold me. They have an exclusive agreement with GAF for top grade specialized shingles that cannot be bought through any other means and they go the extra mile to ensure the rest of the fundamental components for the job are never skimped on, always utilizing materials of the highest quality. Additionally, there was no deposit required & payment does not happen until the work is finished and you are completely satisfied with the outcome (great reassurance that the company would not "run off" with my money without the job being done, or worse, starting the work & disappearing before completion or taking extra time to finish). Rob continued to remind us of this throughout the estimate appointment as well as the fact that all the information was being shared entirely for educational purposes whether we chose to use Power to do the work for us or not. The company prides itself on treating their customers like family (& that's exactly how every part of this has felt thus far & all the way through). After deciding to use Power (a no-brainer), Rob got the paperwork drafted on the spot so that I could sign everything and get moving on the project I was so anxious to begin as soon as possible. From there the pre-construction inspection appointment with Brian was set for 10/3/16 & the work was scheduled to begin on 10/17/16. The work was completed in ONE DAY (as promised) by a fantastic crew (Project Mgr = Mike & Foreman = Dave) that kept safety and cleanliness their top priorities. On project day, Dave came to the door and introduced himself to let us know they had arrived as well as make sure we knew who to go to should any issues or questions come up). The whole crew was very respectful not only to us but to our property. When they left, you would never even have known that major construction had just taken place. The experience doesn't end here. On 10/21/16, Ron Carthy, QA Manager came out for a post-construction walk through to ensure both that the work was done properly/up to company standards as well as whether we were completely satisfied with the work & the experience or if we had any issues to report (there were none). Yet another exceptionally friendly & courteous professional, Ron spent time looking over every part of the house that was involved in the project and then sat with us to talk about how everything went. Since our home is older, it needs quite a bit of work & through the conversation with Ron about all the related work that needs to be done, I ended up signing on with Power for the next project - replacement of front, side & back doors - that very night. I will write another review when that work has been completed but we have already had our pre-construction appointment with Christopher last week which did not fall short in any way from previous appointments. Last week we also received a 'Thank You' card for our business and an adorable box of delicious cookies from a company called Bake Me a Wish along with another 'Thank You' note arrived yesterday 10/28/16. I have never felt more appreciated by a company in my life! Power is simply incredible through & through. I have already raved about them to several friends, family members and coworkers & I will continue to recommend them to any & everyone I know. **UNADULTERATED EXCELLENCE.**

So far so good. The installers answer all of my questions, were very clean, do great work with the install.

It was fantastic. Everyone was very punctual, professional, and knowledgable every step of the way. They are really concerned with customer satisfaction. We were very pleased with Power!

Aggressive behavior and over priced estimate. It appeared to me that they targeted older people with their pricing. I had my roof done for half the cost they gave me by someone local and it was excellent.

The work went excellent. The crew arrived on time. They worked efficiently all through the entire project. There were 4 men there working all at the same time. Each man knew exactly what they had to do to get the job done. They cleaned up at the end of the project.

They did an outstanding job. After they did the job the installers were on their hands and knees looking for any debris or nails on the property. They were looking under all my landscaping for nails. I will have them replace a few windows soon.

It went very well!! We are sooooo happy with the work and the quality of the products. The crews were very professional and the quality of work was nothing short of awesome. Shane Carrol explained the entire process and was extremely diligent and thorough . The QA rep Devin visited us for final inspection and was very happy to see how excited we are to have an incredible roof and new windows. The entire company worked tirelessly with much sincerity and we are very thankful.

The project went very smoothly. From the beginning, representatives took an extensive amount of time to explain very thoroughly the materials used, the processes that would be undertaken, and the options available. They also showed us a comparison in relation to average national costs and the quality of their materials vs. other commonly used materials for comparable jobs. Ultimately, we felt very comfortable with the quality of the workmanship and the materials, as well as the level of communication and the professionalism of all involved in the planning and completion of this job.
