Description of Work: Power was very professional. The sales person was awesome.The quality of the products that they used was great. My only gripe was that the sales pitch took 3.5 hours! Still, the saleperson was great. I was sold. Until they told me the price. $55,000 is just absolutely cost prohibitive and out of range for any of the other quotes I have received. This was a quote for siding and roof. Other quotes I have received were in the 22 - 34k range.

Description of Work: Little pricey but it was done in one day. They were prompt cleaned up after themselves. Done right the first time. I have a friend who had a door put in by someone else and she had to do it again they didn't insulate around the door. I love our front door wish I did it sooner. The windows proved to be a energy saver so I was happy I spent the money.

Description of Work: Did the work as expected. We had some problems about four days earlier with some roof shingles falling down. Hopefully will fix the room next Tuesday at June 10 2014.

Description of Work: Let me state that I did not use this service provider. However, I feel I had enough experience with them to provide a review. One of their salesmen came by and proceeded to talk to us for 5 hours on a Friday night. Then he quoted an extremely high price, but said he would knock $5,000 off if we signed on right that minute. If not, the quote would be void. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the hard selling approach, and it was all I could do to get the guy to leave. I then got a siding referral (that was the service quoted) from my HVAC guys, and this siding company did the job for $6,300 instead of the $25,000 quoted by PWS (they did a great job too). In my estimation, PWS makes its money through aggressive sales to people who do not (or cannot) shop around. They might do good work, but you will pay for it, a lot.

Description of Work: The salesman was very pushy trying to sell a product that is way over priced. He offered a considerably lower price if you signed the contract that day. If you desired to wait and think it over, the new price was much higher. He became rude and argumentative with me when I opted to wait. I almost had to throw the guy out of my house, but he wisely left on his own.

Description of Work: They've done several windows and a basement door for us. I love my new door and windows! My husband won't borrow for this work, so I'm saving up to get the rest done. I'll definitely have them do it because the quality of the products, the installation and the warranty are worth the extra cost.

Description of Work: A credit card was opened before they could determine whether the work can be done. The technical was flipant with the information I requested. I was not satisfied why the work could not be done, when residents in the area had no problem installing their bay window; some nonesense about the window being architectural beam holding up the structure . The tech said that they needed a permit and it was out of their scope of service... Ha!

Description of Work: Power Home Remodeling Group gave us the worst six and a half hours of the past decade, notwithstanding having had major surgery, etc. Not only would I never do business with them, I will never do home remodeling or repair business with an unsolicited salesman again. I agreed to a free, no obligation estimate in response to a knock on the door by a representative whose entre was "we are doing work for your neighbor." They scheduled the estimator at that time. The estimator came at 2:00 p.m. and left at 8:30 p.m. He did estimates for roof, gutters, windows and siding. He had great samples. After measurements, etc., the sales pitch began at 4:00 p.m. We had done research; the prices were too high by double. We never received formal quotes. The price was only quoted as the entire package. It was challenging to get the quote broken down. With special deals, etc., the price came down to about 160% or more of what we know to be the range. We told the salesman we were going to have dinner; he stayed. I told the man I do not miss Jeopardy for anything. He stayed. I finally asked him directly and forcefully to leave; as he had brought in numerous large cases of samples, he slowly dragged out the time to take them out to his car. Meanwhile, he still tried to sell us. Finally, around 8:30 he was gone. I have been getting several calls a week from Power since that date but ignore them.

Description of Work: They replaced all 25 windows in my home. The team that did the job were puntual, professional and did an awesome job cleaning up after themselves when they were done. It was like they weren't even here! Several weeks early, a salesperson had knocked on my door one afternoon and said they were giving free estimates on windows. We schedled one and were very impressed with the quality of the product, the service and the warranty. We know that these windows will add value to our home as well as keep my heating and cooling bills down considerably.

Description of Work: We have used power 4 times now for windows , siding and now a roof. Everytime they have been professional, ontime and the job looked awsome. Today we are doing our roof. It is the original roof put on the house when it was built. We contracted for replacing all the wood if needed, since we already had two layers of shingles. Upon taking off the shingles our roof didn't appear to need as much as feared. Much to our favor. The project manager informed us that our cost would be less. They didn't try to sell us something we didn't need . A plus for sure. So I have and would use tnis company again!

Description of Work: They did siding. The workman ship was good. They didn’t clean up a lot of their mess, but they did come back and clean up after themselves. For the most part, it was good.

Description of Work: We had three windows replaced in the garage and the guy did a great job installing and finishing the windows. Now, it's the best looking wall in the garage. We had a roof replaced last Oct. by Power home Remodeling and now the windows and would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: "Lex" as he identified himself said that he came by to give me an estimate on windows. I politely declined and excused myself. Before I could escape into my home, he then immediately started questioning me about he age of my 5 year old shingle roof. Again, I attempted to excuse myself. He was still talking at me as I walked back up my walkway. I agree with some of these other reviewers. This is too heavy handed for my tastes. "Don't call us---we'll call you!" That's my motto. This is the type of trolling that gets the elderly and the uninitiated into unwanted contracts. I don't want strangers whom I did not contact to come onto my property...it's frightening.
