Description of Work: We had a new roof installed by Power this fall. They finished the work promptly and to a high standard and were very responsive to a few small issues we had with the gutter work.

Description of Work: They completed an initial visit which included providing details on the various roofing products and services provided. They were very professional during the presentation, and were able to answer all of our questions. During the visit, they also inspected the roof, and also went into the attic to check the plywood structure of the roof. They found approximately 15 sheets of plywood with water damage, and informed that they would have to be replaced. Fortunately 300 sq/ft. (approximately 9 sheets) would be included for replacement at no charge. Based on the presentation and information provided, we decided to go with Power Home Remodeling. No money was required up front; you pay when the job is complete by check or through financing installment (financing is available if desired). They worked with us on scheduling a day for installation that worked well with our busy schedules. On the day of installation, the work crew (3 employees) and project manager (Carmen) arrived on time, and went to work immediately. They draped the house in blue tarps to protect the house from falling debris, and also protected the landscaping schrubs near the house. The job was completed in one day, and they did a thorought job of cleaning up, including using a large magnetic device to pick up any loose nails that had fallen during the roof removal. Although a little pricier that other roofing companies, they did an excellent job, were very proficient and professional, and provide a roof with a 50 year warranty which is transferrable. We were very satisfied and would recommend Power Home Remodeling to other home owners.

Description of Work: Was quoted $16000 for a service and materials Home Depot said they could do, but Home Depot quoted us at around $9500. When I mentioned this, Power Home Remodeling Group rep. came down only $2000. Decided to go with a local company who we have heard some very good testimonials about. Once the project is done come early November we will post a review on them.

Description of Work: An excellent experience. Installation crews arrived right on time and got to work right away. They removed old, decrepit windows and installed brand new, high quality windows with no effort. Level of experience was obvious. They were very courteous and after performing the installation, they cleaned up very well. All furniture and floors were covered with tarps and all areas were cleaned well, including the outside. We had 18 windows replaced. The company has been in business since 1999 and there is a reason they are still around and doing an excellent job. They take very good care of their employees and that is evidenced by the fact that one of the installers has been working with them for 11 years and is very happy. The initial interaction can be a little challenging since their philosophy is to offer a discount at the initial meeting and make the process efficient; they are after all a business and need to make money to survive. However, they do an excellent job and offer a great product. You can always get a contractor to do the job, however, a contractor cannot get the same windows that are made to measure. The whole process is very detail oriented without short cuts.

Description of Work: I was approached by a salesman in a store who asked if I was interested in any home remodeling. I am looking to replace approximately 7 windows so I responded yes. He then conducted an interview, asking questions about me, my wife and the house. He filled out a form with the information but said that I had to talk to someone in the office. After handing me his cell phone, I was again interviewed by the office representative ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS!! I again answered them and scheduled an appointment for someone to come to my house to give me an estimate. The following morning, I received a call on my cell phone approximately a half hour before the scheduled appointment but the call was terminated before I could answer it. I called back and after a couple of transfers, I spoke to a representative. I told him I was calling to confirm the appointment and he started asking the same questions that the two representatives had asked the day before. When I objected to being asked the same questions a THIRD time just for an estimate, he rudely said unless I gave him the answers, he would not send anyone to do the estimate. I said fine, and hung up!

Description of Work: Called Powers for an estimate on new windows and a roof for my home. They responded immediately and scheduled an appt. for the same day. A rep called me a half hour before the appt. to confirm, 3 minutes after they were suppose to show they called to tell me their was nobody available to come and told me they would call later in the week to reschedule. It has been 2 weeks now and still not a word from Power Remodeling. I guess they have enough business and do not need mine!. I was suprised as my brother in law just had all of his windows replaced by Power. He even called the VP of marketing and they told hime they would call me immediately and still not a word, We did see their number on our called ID but they left no message.. I would not do business with them if thats the customer servive they offer.

Description of Work: They replaced the roof. The work was completed in one day at the time and day that was promised. Clean up was excellent as was courtesy. The work was done as promised and and at the cost estimated with an outstanding appearance. After almost year, no problems have been found.

Description of Work: They came at the appointed times for all services. Very thourough explanation of how the producyts worked, how they were made, installation. BIG difference in comfort level in the house and utility prices were much lower.

They were on time, clean, and professional. before leaving they gave me all the paperwork I need, ask if I had any questions, and went over the installation and how to use the windows with me. Left me phone numbers to call if I needed anything. Told me an inspector would be calling an setting up an appointment to check everything out. The work was great, my neighbor liked the windows so much that he is also getting some put in by this company.

Description of Work: Power Windows is a JOKE!!! They come out and promise you LIFETIME WARRANY Etc. They do the work, but when something goes wrong, don't expect a call back and they WILL NOT FIX IT FOR YOU. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I could write a book on this company. HORRIBLE.

Description of Work: Someone from Power Home Remodeling Group knocked on the door and tried to interest me in getting a free estimate for having windows replaced. I do want to get new windows, but I doubted that I can afford to have this work done any time soon. I explained that, but I told him that I might consider getting an estimate if I am impressed with what I find out about the company online. He was going to return on Friday to find out the result of my research and my decision. I was not very positively impressed with the information I found about the company and decided that I did not want an estimate from them. The guy never came back either.

Description of Work: They gave me a very high estimate, and they were at my home for a very long time. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.

Description of Work: Two salesmen came out to take a look at the job, which went very well. The price for the two windows we wanted replaced would have been $700 each, which we felt would have been very high. The man did come when he said he would, which we appreciated. Though we're going to keep looking at other companies as we felt this quote was too high.
