You really should avoid this company. Let me tell you a story. My wife and I are a young professional couple, working long hours to come home to an average size home we rent in Villanova. We have a large dog, a cat, and two children under 5. We aren?t what you would call retentively neat, but there isn?t a lot of time home and awake with which to be messy either. We are far from slobs. Our house has been cleaned by one woman for just under 9 months. She takes about 3-4 hours to do four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining room, den, and`office. She?d still be working here if it weren?t for timeliness and reliability issues, and frankly, I think INS found her. I found Executive Maids through Angie?s list. Having been a member for years, I am rarely disappointed with the contractors I find here, and routinely look here first for info on service providers. Executive maids came well recommended. I was prepared to pay more, as the reviews said I would, for reliable, timely, and executive level service. I could not have been more wrong. In retrospect, I should have seen it coming. They work on time, and this clearly does not encourage efficiency. The first time out was the infamous ?deep clean?. You know, the one all services ?offer? when they do what they should do every time, but make a production of it, and charge a lung for it. That was $448 dollars. I choked on it, but they seemingly did a good job, and from what people who were in the house at the time, had an attention to detail that I appreciated. Had we just been talking about charging too much, I wouldn?t be writing this. But the more I think about it, the more I think this company isn?t as interested in cleaning your house as it is about cleaning your pockets. I believe they simply do not care. Now, back up to scheduling: When I first inquired, I asked to see if they had space in their schedule to commit to one day every other week for an AM appointment. They said yes, so we proceeded. The day before the first clean, Sandy came to town, and no one left the house. After that, the rescheduled day was agreed upon, but the night before, I get a call that they will see us at 2 in the afternoon. So much for attention to detail. I told them this wouldn?t work, since I have two kids who need naps. After considerable consternation, we agreed to an appointment that wasn?t that late but still quite inconvenient. There was not one moment of effort toward customer service here. I basically got a shoulder shrug. Cleaning 2 was another team, two weeks later. This was a $268 dollar affair, and frankly, not even close to worth the money. Now, as part of the initial sign up, you allow for photographs to be taken so they can show you before and after, but in my home, they would not look much different. The shower still had soap scum in it, and beds were only made because someone was in the house to remind the crew to do it. When asked if they were cleaning the office that day, they said ?Well, the door was closed, so we were going to skip it?. So much for work ethic. And like I said, they charge on time, 15 minutes of which was spent checking in with the home office that day. I complained, and again basically got a shoulder shrug. They really don?t care if you stay or go. Despite my better instincts, we booked with Executive Maids a third time. I was told that although I wanted the first team to come back, that wasn?t possible for the am appointment I wanted, and they could offer a third team instead. Despite being at my home twice, they still could not promise a set amount of time, so I again had to leave a signed check with the amount to fill in by my nanny. I set a limit of what was 90 minutes for a crew of three. My home is 2200 square feet. After arriving late, three people spent 90 minutes on four bedrooms, one bathroom, and HALF of another bedroom. We rent, and over half our furniture is in storage. We?re not talking a lot of ANTYHING to do in these rooms. Before you book with them, do this math. $190 for half the house to be done. They called when they were ?finishing?, I think to look to be allowed to continue, and I wasn?t able to answer the phone. When I called to find out what possibly could have taken that long, I was told they spent an hour in the master bathroom, which is the size of an oversized closet. Absurd, I know, but there it was. ?What took so long?? we asked. ?There were four beds to strip.? They said? one is a CRIB! Then my nanny called. And this sealed it for me. The work ethic in this company is such that when the clock struck 90, they left, leaving a pile of swept dust in the middle of the floor on their way out. $190 and a pile of dust. No apologies, no effort to keep a customer, nothing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. They won?t notice.

If you come from a family of do-it-yourselfers, then you would understand my hesitation on hiring a cleaning company. And though I was stricken with Lupus when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy, the disease didn't stop me. I am able to control the disease and am fortunate enough to continue my full time job and take care of my family and house, but I am limited. For years my husband has been telling me that I should hire housecleaners. Well, after I had injured my back one Saturday after cleaning the house and taking the wet laundry from the washing machine to the dryer, I decided to talk to some friends who had housecleaners and to log onto Angie's List to review comments about the variety of companies that would come to clean my house. Executive maids was on the top of the list. I had heard and read such rave reviews about the company, I quickly called them and heard back from them early the next morning. Of course I panicked after scheduling the appointment because my house was cluttered. So the weekend before the maids were due to arrive, my husband and I worked feverishly to put away or throw away many items that were laying around the house waiting for the day when we were motivated enough to put them in their proper place. The three women worked for 5.5 hours. When they left, it was almost 6pm. They were exhausted and hungry, but kept moving to complete the cleaning. Overall I was very happy. When I received a follow-up call from the company's management the following morning, I scheduled regular cleaning visits. What will I do with my Saturdays now that they are free? Hmm...

I am very pleased with their service. I have had them for atleast 3 years. The girls are very pleasant, and they seem to do a good job.

Two to three cleaners come to our house every other week or every other three weeks. The women are courteous, good workers, keep our house clean are not intrusive. We feel safe with them in our home and are extremely pleased with all the work they do. We are charged approximately $150 per 2 to 3 hours of work.I have nothing but the highest regard for this company.

They are very good about calling the day before to let you know when they are coming. They stick to their schedule and keep you updated on it. They stick to their routine. The house always looks nice when they are done.

They do a good job. They are very pleasant to work with and are very accommodating. They charge me $162 for three people for an hour. I would use them again in the future.

It went really well, the service was terrific. I thought it was a little overpriced compared to the competition though.

I always speak with the crew supervisor before they start and tell her about any problem areas they should watch out for and then I move out of the way and let them do teir thing. I often strip the sheets off of my bed and leave new linen and let them make up the bed for me! And yet with everything they do, they are seldom here for more than a hour.Very dedicated workers and very,very good at what they do. Sadly I have mirrors with starlet diamond pieces in my living room that they clean but always snap off one of the starlets which I put back on with a little glue, No big deal.

I chose them based on a good review in a magazine. They are very professional. The first time they come out, they have you sign an agreement. There's a crew leader that communicates with you. They give you a time window the day before, which is a bit frustrating. You don't know when they're coming. They are very accommodating. They fit us in quickly when I had a friend coming. We don't have routine cleanings with them; we just use them when we need them.

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the total professionalism of the trio of workers sent. They began their tasks as soon as they arrived as best we could observe no unnecessary downtime was used. We agreed after they had finished and we had made a thorough inspection there was the single place or area that was not only clean but never looked better. We could not be more pleased.

They were able to come the day I decided to hire them, they were somewhat later than originally expected but called to let me know. They cleaned pretty well, considering that it was to be a comprehensive cleaning. They missed the dust on the ceiling fan in the bedroom, and left paper towel lint on the mirrors and countertops in the bathrooms. They did clean all the cabinet doors in the kitchen but the cleaner was standing on the counter in her shoes (yech). I had considered hiring them to come out twice a month but I just couldn't get past their not respecting the countertops or throwing away a piece of molding that was broken and awaiting repair. After they left, I found that they had left the trash in the driveway by the garage so I was able to reclaim the molding and discovered that they had used some of my supplies which entailed rooting around through the cabinets. Overall, I was pleased to have help with such a large project and most of the work they did was satisfactory, I just didn't want them back for regular cleaning.

Overall well. Discrepancy over pricing at end.

This company was very expensive and not very careful of my property. They were not respectful of my property and were very careless of my things. We complained and the customer service people were very argumentative and defensive. They denied any responsibility, so we canceled the contract.

We were very happy with the results of this major cleaning we had them do. Everything looked perfect for the party and they were professional and courteous the entire time.

We have used this company approximately 6-8 times over the last 3-4 months, always with mixed results, and each time feeling more dissatisfied. We were generally pleased with the initial visit which was 2+ hours, although they used something abrasive to clean the front of the microwave and dishwasher which has left permanent marks. With each visit there seems to be something else that was forgotten, which I've excused up until this point. The clincher was when I found a pendant from a necklace embedded into the bedroom carpet that had clearly gone through the vacuum cleaner. The chain was gone completely and the pendant misshapen and missing many of the diamond chips (others were found in the carpet and I can only presume the rest were in the vacuum cleaner). When confronted we were told we had no proof it was them. When told we were canceling our service they called back and offered to deduct the cost from our next bill since we had the receipt. They won't be coming back again.

Mixed. Had us read and sign a 10 page agreement before they wanted to start. It included penalties for us, the client, being late by 15 minutes or more. Ironic, since the team showed up over 45 minutes late and only after getting called by dispatch. (We have an easy to find corner home and had sent internet directions by e-mail and voice mail in advance as well.) The team was okay, but didn't finish everything they said they could in our no kids, no pets family clean home. Kitchen floor hurriedly completed, etc., upon our return. I felt it was okay for the price. My husband disagrees and was upset that they took our brand new bottle of Windex! (Probably just mistook it for one of their supplies.) We may not use them again.

BAD WORK, EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN I CALLED COMPANY LATER, THEY WERE IMPATIENT AND RUDE. WHEN I TOLD THE SUPERVISOR THAT THE AGREED UPON WORK HAD NOT BEEN DONE, SHE KEPT ASKING ME ''WELL - WHAT DID THEY DO FOR 4 HOURS?!!''I SUGGESTED WE MEET AT THE HOUSE AT HER CONVENIENCE TO REVIEW WORK DONE AND WE AGREED ON A DAY & TIME. THE SAME WOMAN THEN CALLED ME AT WORK THE DAY BEFORE THAT VISIT TO TELL ME THAT ''NO MATTER WHAT THE HOUSE LOOKS LIKE'' IF THEY ''RE-DO'' THE WORK, ''IT'S STILL GOING TO COST YOU THE SAME HOURLY RATE''. WHEN I ASKED HER POLITELY TO PLEASE COME LOOK AT THE WORK THEY SUPPOSEDLY DID, SHE SAID IT WAS POINTLESS, SINCE THEY HAD SPENT 4 HOURS IN THE HOUSE. WHEN I ASKED ''BUT WHAT IF IT'S OBVIOUS THEY DIDN'T DO THE WORK?''I WAS TOLD ''DOESN'T MATTER. THEY SPENT 4 HOURS DOING SOMETHING IN THAT HOUSE.'' I UNDERSTAND THAT REASONABLE PEOPLE CAN DIFFER ON THE MEANING OF ''CLEAN'' BUT HER INFLEXIBILITY WAS BAFFLING AND BIZARRE.
