Worked directly with Jesse from their design team to come up with specs and a computerized picture of the proposed kitchen. Steve then sat down with us to review the contract and estimated start date. The job started mid-February with the installation team arriving as scheduled. They sealed off the kitchen entrances with zippered curtains that eliminated dust and dirt from contaminating the other rooms. All work was timely and well scheduled by Wayne, who coordinated the Install Team with the electrician, plumber, granite, backsplash,and appliances. We were never waiting on some promise to arrive. The sub-contractors that Patete uses are professional in every manner. Patete has two men (Dave and Dave) that are skilled workers that led all of the install and finish work. Both are very skilled at what they do. They seek to please you with numerous questions and answers to any concerns during the install prior to finalizing the work. The work was completed mid-March and we can not say enough on how nice the kitchen looks, as well as being functional for all of our needs. All of this comes at a price, which at first scared us off, but after working with Steve and his Team, the money spent gave us a quality kitchen, installed by skilled and courteous workers, in a timely manner. The installer finished the entire job within 3 days--he was excellent at his job.

The service person advised us that he would arrive between 8 am and 9 am and that we were his first stop of the day. Approximately 9:15 am he called to stay he was in traffic. I can't imagine if we were the first stop of the day what time he left or where he was coming from that he was beyond his arrival time and calling to say he would be even later. He arrived and set to work immediately. The job was finished in less than 15 minutes. After he left I entered the bathroom and found strips of the old caulking that he had cut out of the shower. These pieces of old caulking were in the shower itself, on the bathroom floor, and two were actually stuck in the new caulking. I was unhappy to have to clean up after a repair person that arrived late to begin with. Because we have a lifetime guarantee on the shower, we will be forced to use their services again, but I'm still not happy about the job just done.

Kitchen and powder room turned out beautifully. The workmanship is excellent and the kitchen installers were very professional and punctual. All of the team at Patete were wonderful to work with. We have nothing but good things to say. Any questions or concerns were addressed and responded to promptly. We are a fully satisfied customer!!!

I have a bathroom that I want gutted and remodeled. The gutting part is to include removing the current walls down to the studs and all mirrors/cabinets/bars, and then to remove the current floor down to the studs, remove the tub, toilet and sink. The remodel part is to include new sink, toilet, tub, new mirror and lighting over the sink, cabinet over the toilet, new tub surround, new drywall all around and new tiled floor. The remodel is to include new grab/towel/tissue bars. The existing door is to remain, and I will supply a new window which the provider is to install in the same space as the current window. I will paint the new drywall myself. It is a small bathroom, not symmetrical, but the floor space is approximately 44 square feet. A representative of Patete came to my house and measured and invited me to come to their showroom. I went to the showroom, and working with a design consultant, picked out what I wanted. That part of dealing with Patete is very professional, and the people are truly nice to deal with. I was invited back to their showroom for a second time to confirm the stuff I had picked out, and to see what their process is and finally to get the price. Again, all very professional and nice people. They stress that they use their own crews and registered plumbers and electricians, which is a requirement for me. With all above, Patete is great to deal with. Now the bad part, after discount, the price was $19,860.00. Given the size of the bathroom and the value that will be added to the house as a result of a bathroom remodel, this price is just very high and well beyond the budget I have put aside for this job.

Patete did a complete remodel of our master bath, including ceramic tile in the shower and floor and replaced everything in our powder room except the floor. (We have hired our own painter.) We are completely satisfied with their work. All of the craftsmen they sent to our home were professional, friendly and respectful. Most were a joy to talk to. The salesman and designer were also great to work with. Both were patient and there was no pressure to make a decision before we were ready. The work was completed in about 12 days, which was within the timeframe they gave us when bidding on the job. There were a few minor problems, specifically, a cracked toilet tank and a gob of grout that dried onto a tile. These were immediately rectified. There was also a 2 day delay in receiving and installing a mirror and medicine cabinet. The most difficult part of the entire process was making design decisions. It required 3 visits to Patete for a total of about 6 hours. These meetings were held in their design center, which is cramped. We had to share the area with another customer. This setup is less than ideal. Each time that we went to Patete, the salesman and designer were prepared and did not waste our time looking for paperwork, samples, etc. Once all of our design decisions were made, we were presented with a written proposal that provided the bottom line dollar amount for the entire job. As others have pointed out, there was no dollar amount breakdown for individual items/work. We were told the proposal was good for 10 days. During that time, we negotiated a price that we thought was fairer. We returned to Patete to sign a contract (still only a bottom line dollar amount specified) and put 30% down. We paid another 20% when the final measurements were taken, 40% on the day the work began and 10% when work was completed. The contract specified that work would begin in 8 to 10 weeks. It started about 9 weeks after signing the contract. We received 3 other bids for the job, all of which were less expensive than Patete. So why did we go with Patete? We liked the idea of ?one stop shopping? and felt they used top of the line supplies. The deal clincher was the lifetime warranty that is offered. The contract specifies a 5 year warranty. Everyone from the owner to the salesman and workmen promised a lifetime warranty on anything, leak, grout discoloration, anything at no additional charge. It was explained that the company?s lawyers have advised against putting that in the contract. So, yes, we?re taking them at their word and we?re comfortable with that. At any rate, the other 3 bids we received only specified a one year warranty.

We had a good expereince. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The bathroom took about 2 months to complete. The results weregreat and they did what we had asked for.

We went through the process together all designed and they are scheduled to be done this month. Their professionalism and the ability to help us out in making tough decisions.

There is a very good chance we would have chosen Patete to remodel our bath/shower if it hadn't been for the extreme lack of professionalism by the salesman Rich. He did a decent job of going over the product and gave us an estimate that was reasonable, but when I told him we wanted time to think it over rather than sign the contract immediately he became visibly aggravated. He then had to ask where else we had received estimates from and proceeded to bash those companies which I felt was extremely unprofessional. We did tell him that one of the other companies had guaranteed us that if we went with them the estimate would not waver even if they found more work needed to be done after beginning the project. Although Rich swore up and down that this would be the same with Patete, he refused to put that in writing in the contract. Maybe the high pressure sales technique works on others, but I prefer a company that respects the customer and that is actually concerned with fulfilling our needs, not just making a buck.

The work the gentlemen did that was sent out was exceptional. He had to remove the toilet and vanity and was willing to put it anywhere I wanted including a long walk to my garage if I wanted. He was very punctual and worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect. He also did an awesome job cleaning up the street and side walk where he parked and was using the saw and my garage which he utilized during the rainy days. The work he did looks great and my wife and I are so glad we choose Patete.

it went well. They were very professional. The only caveat came when the shower rod was hung up where the old one was. There lies the problem. A shower stall is lower than a tub and the shower curtain didn't reach the floor. We couldn't use the shower until they corrected it. They came out and rectified the problem to both our satisfaction. Overall, I am glad I did the project and would definitely use them again.

The remodeler was very nice and always on time. He did a very neat job, especially on my walls that needed repaired. He always cleaned up after each days work. A registered plumber installed my toilet. The actual work was completed in a week. The painter came the following week. I paid him separately. He had some trouble with the ceiling above my shower. He had to come back because the paint kept bubbling. I had issues with the ceiling and about a year later, I called Patete's and they sent some one else out to scrap and replaster the ceiling, re-c*** around the top of the shower surround and tighten the faucet handle. Everything is fine now and I was not charged for those fixes. Last year my toilet seat broke. Patete's sent someone to replace it with a better seat. I have a lifetime guarantee on that bathroom, which is wonderful!! I loved planning and picking out my own fixtures, too. Everyone was very helpful and helped me stay within my budget. We went over all costs before the work was started. All items were delivered to my home. I liked that I did not have to hire my own contractor, plumber, and painter.

I am so happy with them. No mistakes made. They did a wonderful job. My bathroom is beautiful.

You may be able to find a cheaper kitchen and bath remodeler. However, if you value professionalism and top quality Patete delivered for us. Design services were excellent - they recommended moving a window to make better use of the kitchen space and we love it. Installation was on schedule, the installers are Patete's own people and they were very professional in every way - quality work, gentlemen, cleaned up after themselves EVERY day before leaving and were very responsive to our questions and requests.

The bathroom is in my 85 year old house. The four walls were tile laid in cement. Everything was crooked. After agreeing to a plan in which I had input, I was given an estimated start time for the job. It actually started earlier. Demolition required 3 days! There was not one moment wasted or one day on which no work was performed throughout the entire 3 weeks of construction. The sequencing of the trades was perfect. The workmanship was beautiful and was overseen by a company representative who took a personal interest in the quality of the work. A bathtub was removed and a glass shower with subway tile walls was installed. A new tile floor was installed as well as a custom built vanity. The bathroom is elegant to look at and wonderful to use. Although I may have been able to get a better price elsewhere, the hassle-free experience and the quality of the work made it worth any extra it may have cost.

No problem. We gave our money to another company. That's how you handle that. :)

They are professional and responsive. I am planning a bathroom project and they are the first place I'm calling any issue is followed up promptly.

The designs turned out great they do not get mad if you do not like something.you have two people who are assigned to work with you the designer and the interior decorator. Unfortunately I had to push my project back but I am definitely going to use them for my kitchen project.

Crew worked efficiently, explained process thoroughly & cleanup was good.

During our discussions with Ken were we told what items we should buy separately from Patete's upcoming proposal. My husband and I checked out the pricing for the items. We knew before the meeting to get Patete's proposal the approximate amount we would have to spend separately. The company's way of presenting the proposal is to take about an hour showing a book of letters from previous customers praising Patete; meeting the owner; taking a walk through the company seeing where the scheduling takes place; showing us files of previous customers, since Patete guarantees their work as long as the customer lives in their home; and FINALLY seeing the workshop where carpenters can fix problems that may arise. When we returned to the conference room to get the proposal, the price was covered up by a sheet of paper. We were not allowed to see the price until Ken went over the proposal first. There were a few discrepancies on the proposal, which we pointed out. (Make sure everything you have discussed with Patete is written down in your records, since we had that with us when we noticed the mistakes in the proposal.) Then the "grand unveiling" of the price. It was within what we were willing to pay, EXCEPT two more items were listed for my husband and I to pay for separately. The first one was the fabricator fee, which was another $3800. The second was the electrician's fee, along with paying for all the electrical supplies needed and installation - a price that could be as high as $3500. I wish Ken would have been upfront with us previously when he had given us a listing of what we needed to buy separately. I was furious and felt going to Patete was an incredible waste of our time. No way were we going to do business with a company that plays these silly "games". My husband tried to call Ken twice since the meeting but he was unavailable, so my husband left him a message that we were going elsewhere.

Design and decoration team are top notch. The workmen other than the painters were all very professional and excellent. They are a little pricey, but they offer the convenience of everything being handled under one roof and have been very responsive to minor post installation problems. Were it not for the painters who had to come back and still didn't do a great job, I would rate all their work staff as excellent.

They had a take it or leave it approach. They didn't seem that concerned about grabbing my business. I didn't get the impression that they were going to lose it if I didn't select them.

replacement of BATHTUB AND SURROUND ALONG WITH SLIDING GLASS DOOR PREVIOUSLY INSTALLLED BY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR WHO DID A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION DID REPAIR ALL THESE ERROS AND LEFT US WITH A NICE IMPROVEMENT.

They started exactly when they said they would. The crew that did the demolition and then installation of my flooring, cabinets and new appliances was the finest group of workers I have ever dealt with. I have done 3 kitchens in the last 20 years (because of moves) and these guys were amazing. They were here every morning exactly when they said they were coming. They left my home spotless and my garage area immaculate as they cut and assembled and glued.....We couldn't have been happier. It was worth every penny.

Installer and plumbers arrived on time. Installer was excellent, stayed late in the evening both days ( It took two days to finish the work due to a difficult installation) Installer was very professional, cleaned up when done and explained how to properly clean the surfaces of the shower walls and the shower doors.
