I recommend Graham at Lynch Mechanicals--friendly, highly competent, on-time and on-budget. Not cheap by any means but reasonable considering what we had them do. They vacuumed up and wore booties. They did everything but replaster the hole from the old unit (which I'll do in any case as I'm repainting that room anyway), and indicated during the estimate that would be outside his purview. We'll definitely use them for our future HVAC needs.

As you could see from my above comments, i just wanted to say that this company was the only one today that returned my call.

Very pleased with service and costs were resonable compared with others we have received for all three units. Highly recomend and will use ourselves again.

I called in the morning to report that our heat was not working. They were able to come out the same day in the afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it without any parts. They showed me exactly where the problem was and how to fix it myself if I wanted to try to do that in the future. They took lots of time to answer all of my questions and make some recommendations about my HVAC system - by my prodding - and not at all in a sales/pressure manner. They were very professional and I highly recommend them.

I called four companies on Angie's List. Lynch Mechanicals was the third one I called. They called back within two minutes and were able to squeeze me in before another call. By the time a big named company in the area called back 45 minutes later, Graham and Josh had diagnosed the issue (boiler and radiators were filled with many gallons of water more than they were supposed to have in them.), had drained it, fixed the crossed wire in the thermostat and were halfway through servicing the boiler (instead of having me call back when there weren't so many emergency heating issues). And to top it off, they didn't laugh at me for having filled the radiator up so full. Prompt. Friendly. Courteous and compassionate. And additionally, I asked about pricing on some upgrades and they gave me a ballpark figure without having to check with anyone. Very knowledgable. I will definitely use them again when I need my heating system looked at again and for any upgrades that I do in the future!

All went well and I would recommend Lynch Mechanicals as they did an excellent job. They were here over an hour, almost twice as long as previous contractors who charged more. There were two technicians, one was the owner. They were polite, professional, and appeared knowledgible. They performed service that other contractors failed to do, i.e. they cleaned the coils on the inside and outside portions of the heat pump that had obviously never been done before. They covered their boots before coming into the house to protect the carpet and cleaned up after themselves, answered any questions I had, and did a good job overall.

Pleased overall. They came out quickly, got me fixed up and did not charge an arm and a leg. Top notch service overall. I don't imagine I could have gotten better service. Thanks Mr. Lynch and thanks Angie!

Tech wrote up a detailed list of what he did, what he found, and recommendations. He offered the annual HVAC checkup plan, but did not try to sell me on it. He wore booties over his shoes, took them off every time he went outside, and put them back on when he came in. Scheduling: It took 3 weeks to schedule the appointment, probably due to their being needed at other places after the recent flooding, and this was just a checkup. Also, I was not on the annual maintenance plan, and after hassles with other HVAC companies, I am happy to have found this firm. Reason for "B" rating above (a minor quibble): He arrived 20 minutes late, not bad, but I can't give "excellent." I absolutely will use this firm again.

After interviewing 5 local, reputable heating/cooling installers/repairers, we chose Lynch Mechanicals over them all due to Graham Lynch's professionalism. He worked with us as to our budget, answered all questions patiently and explained the process others did not. My wife especially liked the fact that he took more time examining, measuring than other estimators.. Plus, he wore booties in the house and did not park in our driveway, blocking gargage without having to be told. Little things, but noticed. He returned calls promptly, and his installers came perfectly on time. We are happy. We definitely will recommend this company to friends and family.

Our C/A unit was not able to hold a set temperature after several days w/out having to shut it off and restarting it. Lynch Mechanicals came out and reviewed all possible problems. He found a dysfunctional part in the outside unit and w/in an hour had us back up and running. The whole process was smooth and reassuring. Thankfully the company had posted a coupon on Angie's List a day before I called which saved us $29. Overall they did a great job.

Was very happy with the service considering the time frame. Talked to the owner on the phone the night of the problem, and was told that they were booked for the next day. He thought for a minute and asked if someone was going to be home all day, because if so they would stop by in between jobs and take a look. Told him no, but if they could call me thirty minutes before they were there I could meet them. Which work out great and now the AC works again. They didn't just fixed the broken part but also did a quick check to see that everything else was working correctly.

Very professional. Answered my call immediately. Gave a competitive price. When I had questions while they were on site, they answered in detail and with courtesy. I was impressed each persons ability to communicate clearly what they were doingMr Lynch and his crew installed a complete heating and air conditioning system with air purifier and air filtration. Since they could not adequately test the air conditioning system due to cold weather they came back later at no charge to test in warmer weather. When Mr Lynch came to do the estimate he wore boot covers to protect the floors. When Mr. Lynch and his crew did the installation they laid down tarps in the areas they made foot traffic in the house. They cleaned up after they were done. We would certainly used them for any other HVAC issues. I would recommend Lynch Mechanical to anyone.

The removal of the old equipment & installation of the new system was completed in a timely fashion with complete professionalism throughout. The layout of the new boiler was well planned & functionality was excellent. I have no second thoughts in recommending Lynch Mechanicals to all.

Completely flawless work --- A/C worked well throughout the summer, and the humidifier has kept our house in good shape this winter. Lynch came back later for a follow-up inspection and we had them perform some additional work (e.g. tuning up the heating system). We will continue to work with these guys in the future.

EXCELLENT!!! From the initial estimates, working through options available and evaluation of our needs, they were the most professional, friendly and courteous group I have ever dealt with. Graham Lynch and his technicians (who were exceptional) installed a beautiful system, helped with all rebate info and got us the best deal on the best system. Very responsible people to have in your home and highly knowledgable. left our house clean and in excellent condition. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else, and we looked at several vendors.

I called the office at 7:35 am to ask them to send out a repairman to look at our A/C unit. (It was not cooling the house, even though air was coming from the vents.) The receptionist advised that a repairman would call me once she paged him to set up the appointment. John called back within 5 minutes and gave me an approximate time for his arrival at our home. He said that he would call again when he was in route, which he did. John arrived and immediately got to work to try and diagnose the problem. He listened attentively as I explained the problem and explained his findings in easy to understand terms. The good news is that our A/C unit is in pretty good working order, but the electrical panel is not. (We had known the panel was in need of replacement.) John was able to refer us to two reputable electricians who could change out the panel for us. It was a joy to have John here to help us with our A/C issues. I would highly recommend this company for your A/C repair needs. I was even able to print out an Angie's list coupon for $29 off the Service Call fee!

The whole experience was fantastic and I would recommend these guys to anyone. The techs. were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner - they even wore little booties so they didn't track dirt all over my rugs.

Our heat pump stopped functioning last night at about 8pm. Lynch Mechanicals was able to schedule a service call the next morning, and John arrived promptly during the one hour interval I was told. He was friendly and professional throughout - giving exact prices before any work was done. After replacing the dual capacitor in our outside unit, our AC is back up and running. John also took the time to talk to me about possible work on our Thermal Storage System, and we will be getting an estimate from them for that work.

I didn't have too much interaction with them, but I spoke to someone and he was very polite. He said he would come out and check out the system on a specified day which he did. He got back to me, it took a little longer than I expected. I expected a same day response, but he got back to me the next day or the day after which wasn't a problem. He basically told me there was nothing wrong with it, but it needed cleaning. He was polite and professional, I didn't get to meet him in person though. He did return my phone calls and voicemails. I do plan on using him to clean the system as soon as I get things in order with the house.

He was good. He came on time and fixed it on his first visit. We would use him again.

We are delaying doing the work, but they are whom we are planning to use. They were very punctual and really seemed to know what they were talking about. They were very quick in getting the quote and it was a good price. We felt confident that they knew what they were doing. They were right on time and very professional.

John was punctual and worked very efficiently. He was very polite, courteous and professional. He even put on nylon booties every time he entered our home! Love that it is a small company of two people with plenty of experience. We'll be calling them back if we ever have a problem. Very, very highly recommended!
