Lynch Mechanicals

Lynch stopped by to look at my furnace and told me i had a bad heat exchanger and needed to replace it. A little research on youtube immediately showed me that was probably not the case. Had another company in and they confirmed and had it fixed in no time. Would definitely not recommend them for service.

I called Lynch Mechanical when my furnace went on the blink. I was informed that dispatch would send my information. I am still waiting on some kind of contact 2+ weeks later. Obviously, I am going with someone else with this kind of unprofessional business activity.

Our furnace was struggling to maintain temperature. Lynch Mechanicals was able to squeeze us in to their schedule, which was a big relief. They found the problem quickly and were able to solve the issue. They clearly explained the situation in terms I could understand. Very friendly, personable, and helpful.

It went very well. I was very happy with the work done and the product.

I had a lot of questions which he did answer. He sort of let me know what brands would be better to buy. I didn’t go with them because they were higher than I could afford. He did answer some of my questions regarding that and an air purifying system for the house. He was very helpful. I did like him, he seemed like a good guy. Their price was fair. I didn’t dislike anything. He did answer a lot of questions, not only about that but about getting clean air into the home. He answered all my questions even though he didn’t know if I was going to choose his company or not. He answered all my questions before he left. Yes, I would consider using them in the future.

This is my second experience with Graham Lynch and his team! Unfortunately, they originally came out to repair my unit, but it didn't stay running for long...I have both of my A/C units for 22 years and this particular unit (attic) has been repaired several times in the last 3 years. So, when Graham indicated I should replace it with a much more efficient unit, I went ahead with the replacement. My quote arrived timely and I was given 3 units to decide upon! I had no idea what I should do, I called Lynch Mechanicals and they helped me understand and explained ALL THREE UNITS! After talking with them, I was able to make an informed decision and my new A/C unit was installed, without a single problem. I did not have to periodically or even felt the need, to go outside to inspect any of their work. That is such a relief, to be able to trust the servicemen that you hire and not worry about “is this going to be fixed, is it going to be what was quoted,” etc. etc. etc. They replaced and removed my old A/C unit, and had cleaned up the area and left no trash behind! On this particular day, I was extremely sick and they just “simply took over, did not complain, and moved some items for me, as I was unable to finish some of the tasks required of me”! My only regret...I wish they could have another division in their company that does general landscaping, and construction work when I have future projects that need help on! I have owned my house since 1984 and by far, this company has been the easiest and most reliable of all the individuals and companies that have helped me literally rip apart my 1855 house!!!

Lynch Mechanicals has renewed my faith that there still are people left in this town who are honest, dependable and takes pride in their work. Seriously people, you don't need to look further....these are the guys you want. They removed both indoor & outdoor system, cut down some trees to accomplish this and installed this beautiful system that works & looks better than the other two systems I've had. They even dragged the trees to my fire pit. I'm a happy camper.

I really like this company but I have had scheduling issues both years I have used them. I rated them well last year, had my son use them and referred my neighbors to them. Last year I was waiting for them and they were not coming until I called them because an app did not schedule the person who was to do the work. I liked the work when it was done and these things happen. This year I purchased it and I was never notified so I sent an email to ask if I should cancel the service and we got it scheduled. They arrived on time and did the work. The second thing entering into my decision is my son got a service policy with them (pay for a furnace cleaning and an AC service at once. The furnace thing was done on time. They were to notify him about the AC service. He tried calling about having other service done and never received a call back. In my email I said my son was to have his AC service done and gave his number to them and they scheduled it. While they were out my son asked about the other service and was told they would get back to him. He has not heard from them since. I like Graham and his employee but I don't consider him reliable. I asked my son how his service went and he said he is looking for someone else because he never got back to him. This is a really difficult review for me because I don't like to be negative. I have waited almost 3 months to make this review because I wanted to be fair. I think they do good work but I will look elsewhere.

Originally I scheduled for a cleaning of my system but something happened and my AC went out. I was contacted by Graham to schedule a date for him to come out and they were very prompt. Graham did a great job diagnosing the problem and within a half hour he had the problem fixed. More importantly he noticed I did not really need a cleaning so he did not charge me for both the cleaning and the repair. I would gladly call Lynch Mechanicals again.

The owner of the business and one of his service techs arrived promptly as promised and quickly diagnosed what was required to repair my noisy furnace. I purchases a $39 diagnostic coupon from Angie's List and there were no hidden costs. Where the provider really excelled is that they recognized that I was mechanically inclined. They confirmed what I suspected -- the blower motor needed replaced. Fortunately, my furnace was still working so I was not in an emergency situation. They called back within a couple hours to offer me two options: 1. They could return with a new motor and replace it for a fee (reasonable price, but included labor costs). 2. Since I was mechanically inclined, he offered to simply provide the part # (I couldn't find it myself on the internet) so I could replace the blower motor myself (no labor costs so much cheaper). I chose option 2 and Lynch earned a lifetime customer. They didn't have to provide that option to me and I really appreciate the honesty they displayed -- customer service was more important than profit! If you have HVAC issues -- call them -- they will take care of you!

Showed up and inspected unit and cleaned outside unit and also took temperature of unit. However did not perform all items as promised on list that was advertised on Angie's List.

Completed compete removal of old units and installation of a new Bryant Evolution two-stage Puron air conditioner and Bryant Evolution 2-stage variable speed natural gas furnace in 2- 3 hours at no inconvenience to us. Graham and Josh are great people to work with and I would highly recommend Lynch Mechanicals. Two of our neighbors are already using this firm base on our recommendations.

When Graham came to do the furnace and AC routine maintenance we discussed how to get heat and AC into our new sunroom. He took the time to tell me all the options and we went with the heat pump idea. He showed me where the vent would be in the sunroom and where the unit outside would be. He and his associate were very understanding that I wanted as little space taken out of my garden as possible for the outside unit. They came very soon after with 3 men to install the unit and had it done in 3 hours. They were very professional and made sure I was completely satisfied with the unit. Graham installed a new furnace for us a few years ago and did a great job for a reasonable cost so that is why I went back to him for our sunroom.

I had a couple issues this year where I saw rust in the drain water and our fan made some noise a couple times. I let Mr. Lynch know ahead of time and he checked them for me while he was out. In one case he said I could do something if I wanted to be proactive but if it were him he would not. I appreciate the honesty. He didn't say "you need this done immediately" or even "you want this done soon". He had no problem that my unit was older and he said it is in good condition. I have it cleaned annually so that may help with the condition so it is not working any harder than it must. Mr. Lynch was on time and worked on the unit professionally. I actually suggested my neighbor give him a call as they were having an issue and they were told they need a new unit by the person they had out. Their capacitor went out and the unit is working. I would use Lynch Mechanicals again.

Technician was on time and efficient. He checked out the AC and the furnace, replaced the filter and basically told us everything looked good and we're probably good for a couple of years. He wasn't here long but we are very pleased with the results.

Josh showed up on time. He was courteous and wore booties so nothing would be tracked into the house. I told Josh that I wanted a whole-house humidifer. He inspected my central heating / air conditioning system and gave me a quote. In fact, he had the parts on his truck so I approved the quote, and Josh got right to work. As a bonus, Lynch Mechanicals was going to be running a special the following week for this type of install. He gave me the special price. Two hours later, I had an operating humidifier. Josh did a great job on the install- looked clean and professional.
