Aside from some small measurement glitches, the installation went well. Fence is beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on it. I didn't have experience reading yard diagrams so I missed the fact that the fence didn't come away from the house as I wanted it to on one side. However, the company worked with me to offset any differences in material versus what was shown on the original drawing with the contract. They were very professional to work with and I would call them again and recommend them to friends.

It went well. Mike was excellent. Mike was frustrated because whoever cut the fence cut it inaccurately. He was a great worker. It was a hard job. They were there for two days.

It was excellent. They did what they said they would do. They were the lowest of three bids. The quality of their work was excellent and I have no complaints.

They answered our phone call promptly. They came and gave an estimate in a timely manner. They were here when they said they would come. They came and performed the work in a professional manner. Their price was reasonable.

We asked four companies to come out and give us estimates on the installation of our backyard fence. We wanted to have a place to let our dogs roam freely without having to monitor them for short periods of time. Only Dean from Penn Fencing brought up issues with our installation that may become problematic, and he offered wonderful solutions to the issues. Both his service and the service from Mike, the installation manager, were absolutely phenomenal. Ultimately, they weren't the least expensive, but when I told them the other four quotes, they matched one of other quotes to get our business. I was VERY happy with the whole process, and as someone who also works in a customer-service industry, I would HIGHLY recommend Penn Fencing to anyone in the region.

The price was excellent and the work was outstanding. The product was also very good. I was very happy with their work and with how well they ended up doing.

It turned out very well. They were very punctual. They ran into some unforeseen circumstances and they really stuck with the job. They persevered to get it right at considerable extra time and effort on their part. I was quite pleased!

Whole process went smoothly - from initial phone call to installation was approximately 6 weeks - estimate was accurate.

The people from this company came on time, and did what they said they would. The estimator actually came a little early, paid attention to what I wanted, and gave me a detailed estimate on the spot. The installers were there when they said they would be. It was a very hot day, and they worked very hard to do the job. The crew of two knew what they were doing, and coped with all the quirks of my property -- hilly, trees to go around, existing fences, etc. They hauled away all the debris and left the yard clean.

We were negotiating the price with them and the sales person we spoke with told my husband "we did our Habitat for Humanity projects for the year." We were pretty much set on going with this company until they made this statement. If we weren't able to negotiate the price down, we were even ready to eat the extra cost and still go with them. It was after finding out their customer service was so awful that we changed our mind.

I began by calling 6 contractors. Three never returned my call. One made an appointment and never showed. Of the two who made bids, Bob Zielonka of Penn Fencing was outstanding.He made recommendations that 1) reduced the cost and 2) changed the style of the fence so that the crazy terrier could not stick his snoot through the pickets and grab the bike riders, ball players, dog walkers, and pedestrians in the alley. The fence allows privacy, yet air flow, and we and the dogs love our new back yard. Installation: The 'crew' showed up exactly when promised. I was concerned when the 'crew' turned out to be a one man subcontractor, thinking that he could not possibly finish the job in the promised 2 days. I need not have worried. The sub worked quietly and steadily through a Thursday and Friday of incredible heat and humidity and completed the fence on time. On Friday, we discovered that they have given him regular latches instead of the key locking latches that I had specified. He then returned ON A SUNDAY MORNING IN THE RAIN to install the key locks!This is the only time that a job turned out even better than I expected. Bob was super. I was cranky about spending this much money on a fence and pestered him repeatedly with questions. He never lost his sense of humor. When I finally got down to the wire between the 2 companies (similar bids although the other rep was much less helpful), I drove to the companies to actually see the products. At the other company, they said, "The samples are out front, go look at them." At Penn Fencing, I happened to catch Bob just as he was coming in from the road, and he took me back to the building where they actually put the fence together. I met the men who would build my fence, saw what they were working on at the time, and realized that their fence was a superior product. I signed on the spot. A relative bought a fence from the competing company, and the quality and latches are not nearly as good as ours. (Penn's key latches are very slick.) We are more than satisfied; our neighbors are amazed. We have had tons of compliments on the fence.

The rep was informative and helped us to understand our options. We did not go with the company, or any company for that matter because the cost was too high for this sort of project.

Work was completed within one day. Crew was polite, on time and professional. A separate crew will be completing a project on the front of my house, adding a railing around my porch and down the steps, with a separate hand rail attached to wall.
