Since 1977, Wm. Henderson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc. has been providing quality plumbing, heating and cooling service throughout Delaware County and the Main Line. With a fleet of fully-stocked vehicles dispatched from our Broomall headquarters, we strive to provide our customers with prompt, professional service in the plumbing, heating and cooling fields. Wm. Henderson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc. is a member of the Philadelphia Suburban Association of Plumbing Contractors, National Association of Plumbing Heating, Cooling Contractors, Philadelphia-Suburban Gas Exchange, Small Business Association of Delaware County and the Marple Business & Professional Association. Operating a dependable service business requires organization, competent management and professional technical skills. All service technicians have direct communication between the office and customers due to the state-of-the-art communication provided to each technician. We are dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. Our offices are staffed and open weekdays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. In the event of an emergency, we are always available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We quote a price before proceeding with any work. We charge by the job, not by the hour, and all work is guaranteed. We are an award-winning company, but we couldn't win awards without happy customers. You are our priority! A horrible job
Description of Work: For the last 12 to 15 years I have been using Mr Henderson co for the maintenance of my heating/cooling and hot water system, both in my old home and my new home, boy they reaped my off, besides the yearly maintenance cost I payed on an average of $ 400 to 600 every year in repairs.I had one of the top brand Trane units, one for ground floor and basement and one for top floor. After few years there was water collecting at the base of the unit from the condensation of AC, the simple thing was to flush the pipe that drains the water, they never did that. Because of that the furnace got rusted, and several times they had to replace the motor. My house would never get cold although the AC unit was on, they never tested the level of my Freon, and they never fixed the leak, although the unit was 11 years only , they were only interested in replacing the unit. I was really frustrated, and I called Horizon services, they evaluated both my units, and informed me what a horrible job Mr.Henderson services had done in the maintenance of both my units. I had to replace both of them, that cost me close to 30,000 dollars. For all those who are using Mr. Hendersons for the maintenance of there heating and cooling system, please re-evaluate your contract My over all rating is a big. " F "

We never like losing a customer, especially one that we've had a great working relationship with for over 12 years. As you mentioned in your review, we've maintained your heating and cooling unit for many years and during that time we've done complete and thorough tune ups on it. During all of our yearly maintenance's, the pipes were flushed and the Freon was tested and our tune ups are completed with a 15 point check list. Unfortunately, there are some things that happen between tune ups as the unit ages that need attention and that's what happened in this case. Once we were aware of the problem we offered to come back immediately on a weekend at no charge to replace the broken gas valve and were told to wait and to call you back on Monday morning. When we did this we were then informed of your decision to move in a different direction with another company. We value you as a longstanding customer that we've been servicing for over a decade so we feel that it's very unfortunate that this has happened. Although we are sorry to see you go and to not have had the chance to work further with you to remedy your issues, we wish you luck with your new service company. We have appreciated your business over the last several years and would look forward to servicing you again if you need us.
