We had a middle of the night flood in our basement and called them. On the phone the technician (Chris?) quickly diagnosed it as a blocked sewer main, told me how to deal with it for the night and came out first thing the next morning (Sunday). He snaked it but said we needed to have it snaked with a camera as there appeared to be wood pulp in the main. They came out with a camera a few days later and sure enough tree roots had infiltrated the entire main. They gave me a quote to have the sewer main, which was terra cotta, replaced and did the work a few weeks later. We were so impressed we signed up for a service plan which includes heating/cooling system analysis at the beginning of each hot/cold season, and a full-house plumbing review. We also get a 10% discount on service. Recently, our A/C stopped working and they quickly came out and diagnosed a broken fan motor. They ordered the replacement (noting the piece was under warranty). Today they replaced the motor (additionally, another tech was here today doing the plumbing analysis!) and after 3 miserable days with no a/c, we are back in business. At every step, they techs (Chris, Dan, Paul and Tony) as well as the office managers have been extremely professional and courteous. They always call when they're on their way, they're on time, they're responsive and they are up-front about costs and never try to "sell" me anything - they just lay out the realities of the various situations we've confronted over the last few months. I'm extremely happy I signed up for the service plan and have a "go-to" plumbing/heating/AC company!

Overall the job went well. The technician was honest, personable and was knowledgeable. Since I called during a heat wave and not being a customer, I was impressed with the customer service of the office. They were accommodating with my schedule to get someone out to fix the problem asap. I would definitely call them again.

They were thorough and made some great suggestions on how to avoid problems in the future. They didn't end up performing any repairs because our situation was very complicated, but their candid assessment was very helpful.

The courtesy and professionalism from the woman answering the phone to service tech was top notch. Within hours of calling for an emergency repair we had someone out to evaluate our situation, provided prompt estimate and diagnosis. They also had a very quick turnaround install time of the following day. Highly, highly recommend this group. You will get the work done right the first time and it will be done quickly.

We had a very pleasant experience with Henderson. They called prior to coming out and their tech arrived right on time. Their tech was very knowledgable and gave us some tips on the type of water we were using. They also did a follow to make that we enjoyed our experience.

They gave me an estimate prior to doing the work. The price was average. This company has different technicians and I saw 2 technicians. One of them was fantastic and one of the plumbers was not as good. They also do yearly inspections for pools and that is something they offer. I went ahead and signed up for the contract and it was just for them to inspect it for any problems.

They provided the best price and the best service. The installation was quick.

He is on Angie’s list. My experience was fairly positive. They were respectful of my home; they cleaned up after work and they communicated well with me. We had one other estimate and it was comparable, but I don’t how to rate them for pricing as I had only two estimates. The quality of the work that they did was very good. We just had one problem, there was misunderstanding over ordering the size of the vanity top, and it didn’t fit properly when it came, but they very promptly remedied it. They came up with a solution, and they did a beautiful job remedying it.

Henderson was one of three companies we contacted to quote us to repair our drain pipe from our second floor bathroom - leading through the first floor and down to the basement. The pipe was very old and had actually split down the entire length of the first floor. We had already opened up the walls and knew exactly what the issue was. My wife called first to schedule them to come out. Two of the three plumbers wanted money to come out and provide a quote - Henderson was one of them. I called them back and cancelled the call because I don't pay for quotes. Since we had already opened the walls, they said the would waive the initial cost. We had them out the next day to quote. Mike came and surveyed the existing conditions and explained everything very clearly to my wife - and explained the cautions of what could go wrong when they remove the section of pipe - not to scare her, just to make her aware. Although the pricing seemed higher than what I would have expected - Henderson was the most professional and gave us the initial comfort level that we felt they could successfully replace this pipe from the challenging location. We scheduled them the next day for 9AM. The workeres (Chris and Pat) showed up at 8AM - and appologized for being early, but stated that they could wait in the truck for another hour if necessary. Earlier the better in our book. My wife let them begin immediately. They were extremely courtious, quite (as best they could with a demolition hammer), kept us regularly updated throughout the project, prepared with drop cloths and tarped to minimze dust and cleaned up completely before they were finished. At project completion (about 6 hours later) they explained exactly what was done and left my wife with no doubt in the world that there would be any issues from the work they completed.

Very well--no heat in February is not a good thing. I used the Angie's List coupon for a $34 discount, no problems.

They are very professional and on time. They got all the work done in one day.

I called Henderson and was given an appointment the next day. The person answering the phone was very polite and knowledgeable. The plummer arrived on time with everything he needed and got right to work. He asked only a couple of questions and determined that the problem was likely the soil stack. Took him about a half hour to drill it out and the problem was solved. I purchased the recommended biodegradable drain cleaner (included in the above price) because I had read about the benefits of natural bacteria as opposed to caustic drain cleaners. One can will last me 18 months using it in the kitchen and bathroom. It was suggested that I use biodegradable cleaning products because detergents nullify the bacteria's ability to eat away the waste. Good advice. On his way out the plummer mentioned that our water heater appeared to be old - they only last 10 years (who knew?) - and that we should keep an eye on it.

I did not know where to look fo an issue. The plumber found the issue. I was pleased with the service because: 1. He was on time. 2. He showed me where the problem was. 3. He showed me the broken parts. 4. He explained the issues, and was very clear and easy to understand. 5. He gave me options, including a new toilet. 6. I took the less expensive option, and he assured me that this was workable. 7. He showed me what to watch for in the future. 8. The repair looked good. 9. He performed repeated testing. 10. He was careful not to make a mess, and to clean up afterwards.

I had them come back for a strong oil smell. The service was great, the problem was explained and fixed.

This is the most professional and kindest home service I have ever used. I tried to switch off my water supply to change a faucet myself and by turning the knob water started flowing out of the pipe into my crawling space.Chris called me in 10min at 9p the day before Christmas Eve. I was so ignorant that I did not even know where is the central switch and meter and he guided me over the phone how to find it while he was on another call. Chris instructed me on the phone how to fix it using a plumber's wrench. Obviously I asked them to come and change my faucet and I am looking forward to it.It was the first service ever where (1) they were explaining me what is going on(2) they were concerned about my budget. Thank you !!! PS: I checked YES on "did the company perform services" because their instructionwas far beyond "phone call for information", they really fixed the problem.

It was a positive experience with them. They were quick, efficient, and they cleaned up everything nicely.

Top-notch work from start to finish, with sensitivity to cleanliness. The 2-man crew worked very hard for 2 full days to accomplish the job. The estimate was reasonable compared with other providers. The work was efficiently and expertly performed. You could tell that the workmen had vast experience. The crew made sure that everything was done to our preferences and specifications (e.g., the exact placement of the new boiler.) I would definitely use Henderson again. They delivered.

Paul McGettigan arrived on time and was very personable and profession. I explained to him that we were unable to use the toilet in the master bath due to leaking, and had experienced a few infrequent leaks with another toilet. He went to work and checked all toilets in the house and identified the issue with the one in the master bath. He politely and carefully presented my options: rebuild the toilet's mechanics and reseal it, or swap it out for a new one. He presented the pros and cons of each and answered all of my questions. He also provided me with the price for each, which I felt were high. Henderson charges for the job, not the by the hour. So if a job takes 1 hour or 4 hours, it's the same price. That's great if you have an older home with years of renovations and/ or hard-to-reach spaces. However, if you have a new home like me it might not be the most economical choice. Since there was a crack and the fact we hadn't used the master bath in weeks, I figured I might as well put in a new one. (It had to flush better than the builder-grade $42 one we had.) His work was good, clean, and well done all within a reasonable time frame. He even checked out a few other pluming things for me. The service, quality, work, and professionalism was great, but you definitely pay for it.

There probably are not any Don'ts to report. The appointment was set for 9AM. I received a phone call around 8:20 from the office verifying the the Plumber would be there between 8:30 and 9:00. When he arrived we spoke about what I needed. He set up his equipment and had the viewer ready to view in about 15 minutes. We reviewed the details of what would be the best approach to doing replacement work. He did the estimate which included the approach that he felt would work best.

They responded quickly to my email inquiry and came out to give me an estimate within a couple days. They were very late for the initial estimate, but on time for the actual work. I had researched the pricing and their quote was very fair. The work went quickly and was clean. They took the time to explain the system to me.

After an initial call to the office, we had a quick call back from the plumber. The technician asked all the pertinent questions over the phone and even wanted to be sure that a handy husband or wife couldn't take care of themselves. He was able to come out within an hour. He covered his shoes, was personable and extremely thorough when explaining the problem and fix. The fee was reasonable. He was even able to help us diagnose a problem with our dishwasher without any extra charge. Thanks to William Henderson - the kitchen sink/dishwasher were up and running by the end of the night.

Excellent customer service on the phone when I called for an appointment; the rep. was very responsive to my needs. I was happy with the work of the technician, even though I believe the price was much higher than it should have been for the work performed. However, I was desperate to get the leak repaired, so I had to do it. I would consider Henderson again, but not until I checked around for a more reasonable cost.

It went very smoothly right from the time the gentleman arrived and till he left. No technical problems or time wasting.
