It went as well as could be expected, with water in my basement, and days of freezing temperatures ahead! Plumber responded quickly, answered my questions and left follow-up suggestions. The answering service and Henderson receptionist/office manager were extremely courteous and accommodating. I was delayed in getting back to them and they were thorough in explaining their Plumbing Protection Plan and resolving a question about the bill. Overall, a responsive, knowledgeable company. It was sub-zero temps outside, on a Sunday, for this emergency call... in an impossible winter for tree guys and plumbers!

The crew got here shortly after call was made to arrange a time. I submitted a request on-line and I received a response within minutes. I was given advice as to what to do in the meantime. The two man crew were professional, quick and helpful. I would definitely use them again.

After a somewhat slow start, the work was completed on budget and a little behind schedule. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship were impeccable. Each day they showed up on time and cleaned up when they were done. If we had questions, we could always reach them in person or by phone. Overall, excellent work.

We use Wm Henderson for all of our heating, plumbing, & cooling, after years of working with others. They won us over during their excellent work during our oil-to-gas conversion process. They aren't cheap, but good "plumbers" never are. We have an old house with lots of little problems and every one of the Wm Henderson folks that has come to our house has been knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and clean.

there was a crack in the pipe which was repaired. repair took a while because we had to wait for the snow to melt. otherwise Henderson did a great job and we have had no problems since.

Was leaving for vacation - noticed water under my sink - saw that the drain was leaking - got a monkey wrench and tried to tighten the connection between the drain pipe and the drain in the sink - instead of tightening the drain just broke apart. This was 8:30 in the morning. Called Bill - left message - he called back in 15 minutes - said he was busy but would try to get to my house in the next half hour. Bill arrived a little before 9:00 - looked at the sink - he had the necessary replacement parts with him - he was done with the job by 9:30.

We have used Henderson for approx 30 years, so we trust them to do a good job. This gas room heater is about the size of a school locker, and is vented outside. We wanted to stay with gas for the economy. Even though these heaters are not easy to find, they found one and installed it. It fit in the space left by the original. We are happy with the results.

We have at the the membership plan with Wm Henderson, which covers plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. We've used Wm Henderson for years, and the work has been exceptional almost every single time. The one time it was not exceptional was in June 2013, when they installed a new kitchen sink pipe, which began leaking almost immediately. However, a person from Wm Henderson came out on a Sunday night, which was even more difficult than usual due to the U.S. Open's going on at that time. The worker arrived prior to when he thought he would, fixed the problem, and explained that the previous person had installed the pipe backwards. Aside from that, our only problem with Wm Henderson seems to be the annual check ups on our various systems. Inevitably, at the end of the check up, Wm Henderson tells us that the system in question is in good working order but they suggest repairs or upgrades that seem to cost a minimum of $1,000. With the recent A/C tune up, it was suggested that we buy a $900 UV light to eliminate mold around the central A/C unit in the attic.

We'd been using William Henderson for close to 10 years now. They have always been professional, punctual and courteous. We needed new air-conditioning unit this year so we decided to replace the heater as well. Bob came in and gave me quotes. It was a very hot week in June and he was able to schedule to install the air-conditioning unit in a couple of days. On the actual day of installation, Tom and his crew came in and did a wonderful job - covered their oath in the carpet, cleaning up after every stage of taking out the old unit and installing the new one. He was very thorough and courteous like always and was there to answer all my questions. Thank you Tom! I would recommend William Henderson to all my family and friends. You get what you pay for.

They were very competent, knowledgeable and efficient. The lead installer find better ways to install the air duct to the kitchen in order to make air flow more direct. He did the same with the duct work for the addition.

We were very pleased with the service we received. The plumber was prompt, professional, courteous, and explained the work well. He talked us through our options, explained subtleties we would not have considered, and performed the work with dispatch. We highly recommend Henderson to anyone looking for plumbing services.

I wasn't too thrilled with their pricing. Their service was very good. They were very prompt and very clean but they don't break their price down; it's by the job and so there's no way for a non-plumber whether you are paying too much for the materials and the labour. This is too mysterious; I had to know the cost of the parts and the cost of the labour, that's the only way you can make a comparison. They were very good plumbers, I had no problem with the plumbing. The pricing system doesn't seem fair to the customer to me. I don't have a problem with the work they did.

We had to replace our system located in a very tight awkward space in the attic. The Henderson installation expert assessed the situation and replaced the unit leaving more room available than before. He and his crew were super efficient, clean, and respectful to us and our property. Wm Henderson crew are truly the best in their field!

They were the first to be able to do the job. Very expensive. Despite getting the larger job, they charged an additional service visit fee when they replaced a cut off valve the day before installing a water heater. The valve would have been replaced anyway. They valve was required to stop the flooding from the failed water heater while still maintaining water to the rest of the house. Work was excellent, but very expensive.

We decided to see how long our air conditioner works since we are not in the market for $1500 or $9K in repairs. It is still working. The man who visited was friendly, familiar, and prompt.

When our old oil boiler died we evaluated several companies and went with William Henderson based on reviews. The majority of the work performed by William Henderson seemed good. The one exception is that they failed to close the garage door or provide adequate heat while working on the boiler which resulted in frozen pipes and a frozen heater coil. Unfortunately both the pipes and the heater coil sprung leaks. It was only after the leaks that heaters were placed in the garage to prevent additional frozen pipes. William Henderson replaced the pipe at no charge but quoted us $1900 for replacing the heater coil. A little internet research revealed that the cost of the part that needed to be replaced was $143. When I revealed my findings to William Henderson they indicated that the job involved significant sheet metal work and the part from their vendor was $600-700. They then reduce the quote to $1500. I purchased my $143 part (free shipping!) and installed it in half a day. I tried to work with William Henderson but they were unwilling to use the part I obtained. I will not be using William Henderson in the future since they were able to replace a section of copper pipe for no charge but for a big ticket mistake they were unwilling to accept responsibility and offer a reasonable fair compromise.

Henderson had performed several repairs in our house, they are our go to plumbing company. New bathroom, new water heater and furnace, replaced faucets and as latest repair replaced a toilet.Repair man came punctual, they give a courtesy call when he is ready to come out. Replacement was done quick and without problems.

Unit was somewhat noisy and it got noisier. Tune-up people avoided the condition but kept mentioning other things I could purchase from Henderson. It got louder and I called a technician for service and got a decent one. He agreed with me and replaced a part called the fan inducer and the noise went away. In my view this is something that should have picked up and corrected at the very beginning or at the very least much earlier without any prodding from me.
