The installer did an impeccable and accurate job of installing the rough in work and the brass finish fixtures. Marble had to be cut and special operations wof the fixtures were explained. All work was finished neatly in a day and house ws left in same condition as arrived.

Hooked up Oven to gas via same line feeding water heater. At the time I did not realize this the incorrect way to install. Requested that someone come to review this work, entire visit consisted of plumber telling us about an issue we already knew about, tried to sell us a $190 carbon monoxide detector and avoided the issue of the gas connection until the end. Made me sign a form which he said was simply to say that i have not requested work to fix our other issues, I then noticed some writing about also accepting there was no issue with the gas line. We are coincidentally getting the water heater replaced and the gas line fitted correctly but not by Hendersons.

They fixed the issue. They were there when they said they would and fix the issue with no issues. Great service.

The project went very well. Two minor things. Our sewer line vent was accidentally buried and they had to come back to uncover it and put in a new cap which they did promptly. The only other issue was the design of the air gap valve that they created would have allowed debris to possibly enter and block the pipe. Our carpenter fashioned a cap which maintains the air gap but keeps debris out

They did fix the issue BUT the cost of $571 to replace 8 ft gas line is outrageous. I would not use these guys again and if I were you, please look elsewhere.

I decided to buy a drain auger ~$390 at Lowes. That way I have the tool I need if there is another clog some day. Took me about 3 hours to buy the tool and snake out the drain. Even though I spent about the same as it would have cost me for this firm to do the work, I still think it was a better choice because the next time I have a clogged drain, it won't cost anything to get it unclogged... Everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional, but for me, the price was a bit too high. And the price was the price - no willingness offer anything lower at all.

Plumber was professional and quick. I called at about 10am and he arrived before noon. I called for the connection removal, but the plumber cleared my drain as well.

In the process of a kitchen remodel. On a Sunday, my husband and I demo'd the kitchen to prepare for the cabinet installers comig on Tuesday. In the process, we found there were not shut off valves to the kitchen sink in the basement as thought. So after trying every basement valve, we were left with no kitchen shut-off valves, very old basement vavle now leaking, and kitchen sink floating to keep water on or shut off the water supply to the entire home. We needed a plumber ASAP. Called Henderson on Monday and quickly got a same day appointment. Phone rep was pleasant. Steve arrived - very professional and courteous. After looking at the issue, provided us with a detailed quote and recommended to cap the kitchen pipes first so the cabinet installers wouldn't need to cut out large holes and he would come back. Great recommendation! After all the cabinets went in, Steve was back the same week to put in the valves. What I originally thought was the beginning of remodel obstacle turned into a quick and easy fix. Thanks Steve and the Henderson team!!

Would recommend. On 11/28/14 During Winter Heating Tune-up they found that my heater was producing to much Carbon Monoxide (not in the house, but if something happened to my chimney it would go in the house) so they had to shut down heater and give estimate for replacement of heating and cooling systems. (A/C unit was as old as heating furnace so I asked for combined). We received estimate on same night (Friday 11/28) we were told the heating system would need to be replaced. After some research we went ahead with their estimate and they were able to schedule us for that Monday 12/1/14! So on Monday the heating work was done but they were unable to finish cooling system so they had to set-up new date to come out and finish. (this was not an issue as it is winter and we are not using the A/C.) Approx. 1 month later they contacted me to finish A/C unit. I set-up appt. and they came out and finished the work. (originally they asked if they could switch dates b/c of Cold & little snow, but unfortunately I had already taken off work so I could not re-schedule.) Either way - they came out as scheduled at 8am - 4pm. All work was done professionally, prompt and clean. Overall very good work done by professional staff. Workers cleaned-up after themselves and informed us of what was going on and recommendations. Happy with service provided. As far as tune-up only small issue is: very tough to schedule appointment anytime in near future - always booked up for months. As far as the replacement of heating and cooling systems the price was just a little high of what we asked other companies it would cost - but was in the ballpark - very close to other estimates. It was worth it. I would recmommend and use William Henderson again.

We had water in our basement from the backup of the main pipe. Plumber Stephen Kertis came on a Saturday morning. Helped to diagnose the problem. Quickly identified the problem and explained it well. He used equipment to go down the front yard pipe access and cleared the drain. Offered advice about going one step further by using an process that uses a camera tool that goes down into drain to take photos the pipe interior. Recommends i do this next to make sure the second part of the pipe (to the street) is not blocked by roots or a movement in the pipe. We plan to do that next so we never have this problem again. Stephen was very professional and worked quickly since he knew i had to leave at a certain time. I had him estimate three other plumbing issues -- he did and explained process. The first call to Henderson on a late Friday afternoon (in a bit of a panic) was great. The woman answering and providing advice was great. The price seemed reasonable -- I had to pay a $95 emergency service fee on top of the work invoice. I thought it would be credited toward the work -- but it is not -- he said bc it was the weekend. I got a $37 discount for an online coupon. The additional estimates seem OK but a little expensive. I will probably go forward w the jobs bc I know trust them and just want to get it done right. Highly recommend.

They took care of the problem immediately. Then came out the next day as well to finish up. They were very professional and very personal. It was refreshing.

Need a new chimney liner for my house. I called several companies. All the others were between 700 and 950. These guys quoted $1584.00 not including permits. More then double the cost of the lowest quote. They did seem professional on the phone. They guy came out for the estimate, well dressed, knowledgeable and on time. Since they also do water filtration systems I asked for a quote on that to. The recommended system cost 270 dollars online. They quoted me 1041.00 to install it. Thats over $771 in labor for a relitivly simple pluming job. Im not sure what they are trying to pull on the price, but it is way over the top. They did see professional and I do think they would do a good job, but their price is just way to high for me to do business with them. Were not talking 10% ore then others, were talking double the cost.

As part of a demolition in the master bath, two pipes were accidentally cut, on Friday evening. This necessitated turning off all water to the house. Found this company on Angie's List and called. Within two hours they had a plumber here, Steve, who was able to fix the leaks and allowed us to have running water again. Steve was professional, careful and personable. A positive ending to what started out as a disaster.

Could not be happier with the service. They have been to our home twice now, to address two separate issues. Both appointments were made extremely quickly, both service professionals were extremely knowledgeable, and our issues were completely addressed.

I switched to Henderson about two years ago. I find them quite reliable, less pricey than Horizon, and very straightforward to deal with.

Great! Came in a couple of hours even though it wasn't an emergency. Quick and effective. The plumber was professional and polite. The clog was deep (6+ feet) so it wasn't super easy. I would use them again!

I would definitely use them again--in fact, I purchased a device contract which brought down the price of the second visit. I'm happy to have a plumber I feel I can rely on.

prompt and efficient job. came in with heavy machinery and finished on time. all work was high quality and lasted well. we had some issues with billing and getting the crew to attend to the final details after we had paid for the majority of the job.

Serviceman was on time and professional. Repair was done quickly and the A/C unit was cooling the house in no time. My only surprise was that their fees are fixed based on the level or type of service provided; regardless of time. My charges were $600 for less than one hours worth of work. It may have been a fair price considering others may have take 2 or 3 times as long to make the repair - I only wish I was informed of the pricing structure prior to the work. Bottom line is they were professional, on time and did great work. I would call them again if I am in need of A/C services.

Called William Henderson Plumbing & Heating on Thursday to request a service call to look at our toilet that had a broken flushing mechanism. Julie scheduled for the next afternoon, which was great because we were coming up on a holiday weekend and didn't want to be without the toilet for that length of time. Julie was very upfront about explaining the $65 minimum charge for the service call which would be applied towards the bill if we chose to have them do the repairs. As promised, we received a heads-up call once technician was on the way. He was very professional--wore booties over his shoes to protect our rug, gave a clear explanation of what had caused the problem and his plan of action to fix it, with an estimate of the cost involved. Our toilet is an older model, and the technician warned that the older parts might possibly break when he was replacing the broken parts, requiring the removal of the tank to complete the fix. He gave us an estimate if this were to be the case, compared with replacing with a new fixture--we felt that we were given sufficient information to make an informed decision to proceed. In any case, the older parts did not break, the fix went smoothly, and we once again have a working toilet in our downstairs bathroom. And to top it off, we found a coupon on Angie's List to offset some of the cost of the repairs! All in all a very positive experience, and we won't hesitate to use these folks again.

I initially contacted the service provider through Angie's List to provide an estimate for fixing a bathtub leak and replacing the bathtub faucet and handle. They were quick to reply and set up a consultation. The service tech was very professional and provided several options, including one that would better improve the master control knobs for the bathtub. Unfortunately I could only currently afford the option that would correct the existing problem. Installing the replacement faucet and handle will have to wait until another day. The tech also adjusted the temperature control on the valve, so we have a greater range of warm to hot water...very helpful. Overall a very positive experience and I would use again, and recommend to friends and neighbors.
