Tri-Point Electric

We were impressed from the initial site evaluation/proposal stage right through to job completion. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, responsive, timely and very professional. They followed up after the whole process was complete, accommodating our/the propane suppliers schedules, just to make sure everything was working properly. We were very pleased with the work that was done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This is the second time I've used Tri-Point Electric. I love them. Brad Balentine is the owner and is very professional and reasonable with his pricing. I called him because the lights in the basement were broken. I replaced them with new bulbs, and the lights still did not work. So, I called Brad, and we set up an appointment. Eric was the professional he sent. He was really sweet with my dogs. He had to go to Home Depot to get the necessary equipment. I was so impressed. Before Eric left, my basement and kitchen lights worked. Eric put an extra light in the basement in case I needed it. Additionally, he fixed my lamp light. I cannot recommend this company enough. Eric was the best.

I priced out about 3 different generator installers, including Home Depot, and they couldn't provide the detail and cost of each process that Brad did. After our first appointment he laid out several different ideas to get me to where I wanted to be with function and price. Once the work started things couldn't have been more efficient. After setting the concrete, Matt and Eric completed the install in 2 days. They came back on two different occasions to change some circuits after I had some second thoughts on what I wanted. This was done gratis and all along the way they said we just want to make sure you are happy since this is an investment. I hope to not need my generator but if i do I am fully confident I have a great product since we have tested it 3 times.

Brad and his team were great to work with and very professional. He delivered exactly what he promised and also completed some minor add on work at no additional charge. He returned calls quickly and his team showed up on time when work was scheduled. They communicated on every step to make sure I was aware of the status of the project, his team took great care when working both inside and outside of my house. His number one priority was to make sure that I was happy with the work EVERY step of the way. I would highly recommend his company for any electrical project!

Having problems with recurrent circuits tripping GFI units. Technicians sorted out which circuits were a problem and replaced a GFI which was "burned out".

He did the evaluation as requested and provided, several weeks later, a cost estimate to do the actual work.

Called Monday of this week to schedule a Saturday appointment because I work during the week. Seems Tri-Point does not work on Saturdays anymore, so the hours on Angies List are incorrect. Made an appointment for this Friday at 9:00 AM. Got a call Thursday night at 6:30 saying they had to finish another job Friday morning so could the appointment be changed to 2:00 PM. Brad arrived 15 minutes early of the 2:00 PM scheduled appointment. I explained to him two GFCI receptacles in the kitchen did not work earlier in the week but are now working. Asked Brad if it could be a short in the receptacles. Also told Brad the master bedroom ceiling fan wobbles when turned on, needs a new pull chain and I wanted to put a medallion around the fan to cover a small space. Brad saw the receptacles and ceiling fan but did not do anything else. Brad said he didn't have his truck with him or his tools, so he was just getting information for an estimate that would be emailed to me later. He stayed approximately six minutes and left. I stayed home from work for this appointment. I'm not happy that all that happened was he basically walked in, heard what the problems were and left without doing any repair.

Eric and Matt arrived as scheduled. They were very nice and got to work right away. They were very respectful and courteous of my house and very neat in doing their work. I even got a phone call after they left letting me know they forgot to lock a window they had opened while working. I highly recommend Tri Point Electric for their responsiveness, affordable rates, and great work ethic

Brad and his crew were thorough, professional and responsive. They accomodated our very tight timelines and even came back during the evening when we found one item that had been overlooked. I also appreciated their thoughtfulness, e.g. vacuuming after finishing the job.

Initially he was slow to get to it but eventually did a good job when he received the generator. He even came back to put in missing parts for the propane tank 2 months later. Would definitely recommend him & will be using him for my home too.

The generator was not a good fit for my home.

Brad's (owner Tri-Point Electric) walk thru inspection was punctual and professional and provided all the steps that would be required to install the requested generator service. Third party vendors would be required to provide a concrete pad for the generator and a natural gas fed line. Installation of concrete pad was provided timely and very professionally done. Job to extend gas line dragged out due to lack of communication and contact from plumbing contractor. However when work by plumbing contractor was completed it was it was done professionally and very good. Delay extended final turn-up of generator 7 to 10 business days. The use of Tri-Point Electric with Brad and his crew for the purchase and installation of the home generator was a winning experience They were punctual, professional and personable.

The guys ran into some problems while installing the generator, but worked hard for two days to complete the job. One day they were there for almost 12 hours. Once the job was completed, the electrician showed me what had been done and walked me through the entire process. The guys were friendly, down to earth, and answered any questions that I had.

They were prompt, they came when they said they would, they did the job, they were polite and they were reasonable.

I was not happy with the service. He did the inspection and he was supposed to get back with a quote and two weeks later I called and he needed the information that I had already given them. I let them know up front I was looking to sell the home and I needed the information quickly. He did come on time but there was no follow-up.

Brad Balentine was on time and through with his inspection., that happened today. He made recommendations for what needed to be repaired ow and what repairs could wait. I fully expect to get the needed repairs from his company.

He was very professional and on time. Left work area clean. Was able to refer us to a plumber to replace the unit. His pricing was fair.

Service provider did not call within 2 days of purchasing the deal. However, he was courteous and professional when he arrived at the location. I would give them the benefit of doubt and hire their services again.

Brad is very responsive and service was provided as expected. One issue where they needed to come back and they fixed the next day to resolve. No complaints and will use again!

I called Tri-Point due to water leaking in my electrical panel from an outside meter during bad storms. The electrician immediately called me back to discuss and an assessment was promptly scheduled. This was the second assessment after a very high quote from another electrician insisting I required a complete new 200 amp system. Tri Point assessed the panel, agreed it was not damaged, dried the panel and all the breakers out, ensured the meter was sealed and charged me a $100 service charge for the work (compared to the ~$4900 Electric Man wanted). I will be using Tri-Point again no doubt.

I had a partial power outage that PECO had established was a problem from within the house. I called the day before they came out, we established that it was not an emergency so they came out the following day (today). The two electricians got here ahead of schedule (I was called ahead of time to make sure that that was ok for them to come early), asked about all of the affected areas, paid attention to details, did some troubleshooting, figured out all of the issues and were done within 40 minutes. And during that time we noticed some water coming in in the basement (this was after flooding rains) and they were thoughtful enough to go get a runner from their truck so that they wouldn't track footprints throughout the house. They were professional, polite, genuine, and efficient. One of the best experiences I've had with these sorts of problems. Would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Things not of his making delayed installation, as I needed cement pad due to hill it was to be it on. The temperature had to be above 32 degrees for 3 days in a row, which took forever this year! He knew a plumber but encouraged me to use my own since his was much farther away (and therefore much more expensive). I especially appreciated the way he talked me through the kind of things I would want available to me, to get enough but not too many lines in. He and his staff were friendly and professional.

Brad was great to work with; he came out to the house to consult with us in the size of generator we'd need. After losing power for multiple days in the past year + (due to storms, etc...), I had gotten quotes from a number of places. The Angie's List Big Deal that Brad offered was fantastic! Price was excellent and service was even better. It did take a little while to get the generator delivered, but that was just because so many people has similar situations and want the security of a back-up generator. The generator is tied directly into our gas line, which means when the power goes off, it automatically switches on - even if we're not at home so I never have to worry about heat/AC, refrigerator/freezer being out again. Not only was the work done impeccably, Brad is just a great guy to work with! He was patient with explaining options and was totally professional. I highly recommend Tri-State Electric and Brad for any electrical work you need to have done!
