Tri-Point Electric

I stayed home from work for the scheduled 11:00 appointment at my home. No one showed. I called at 11:30 and was informed my appointment had been cancelled - and no one had bothered to call me. Pretty lousy service.

Brad Balentine and his team and in particular Eric did a great job preparing and excavating ground to install generator in yard. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable explanning and implementing all the various phases of the installation outside and inside our house (complex Electrical and gas work installation ) on time and successfully ... Spent plenty of time to do testing and reviewing details of installation and finished project with us . Great experience with on going communication with Brad from beginning to end . I really highly recommend Tri-Point Electric ,Brad and his team.to anyone wanting to implement such a specific project.

He was honest and friendly with me. I will be using him again.

This was a "big deal" so I paid for it ahead of time. My original appointment was cancelled because the vendor was held up on another job--he asked me to reschedule and I submitted some alternative dates. I did have to call the office twice when I did not hear back from them, but he finally called and apologize for the delay and came out on the 30th. (having paid in advance did make me worry a bit more about this) The crew was very nice and efficient, arrived on time, did a very professional job and seemed to know their stuff. I am planning to use them again for another electrical job.

The installation went smoothly from start to finish. Brad provided the estimate promptly and explained the entire process to us. The price quoted included all plumbing and electric work necessary. The generator was installed in the timeline provided (within 2 weeks of the estimate). The installers were neat, tidy and professional. After installation they went over everything so that we understood how the system operated. The next day we lost power for about two hours and the generator operated seamlessly. We celebrated! We now feel secure when a storm is predicted knowing that we will not be without power. We highly recommend Tripoint Electric for generator installation.

The electricians were friendly and professional. They took care to keep the house clean while working inside and out. The generator interlock kit was installed without issue, and they went above and beyond to identify circuits in their effort to re-label the electrical panel. They took the time to answer my questions and provide insights into what they found. They also clearly took pride in their work and paid attention to detail. As an example, for one circuit in particular that was a little messy and part of which was no longer in use, instead of just telling me what they found, they removed the unused portion of the circuit and replaced a switch in the circuit so that it was safer and more professional.

Sep 2, 2015 (afternoon) - the following is a verbatim reply from Tri-Point: " I will happily call you tomorrow to set up an appointment. where is your home located? " Sep 3, 2015 - I supplied my address. ---------- I received no further contact or visit from Tri-Point ------------------

Brad was very responsive and was available for an estimate the next day. His team who completed the install were AWESOME!! I was very happy with the service, cost and the suggestions Brad and his team provided. Would absolutely recommend this company!

Generator was installed when promised. Very happy with the price and installation.

Brad was punctual and very professional. I was able to schedule installation at a short notice. I am also pleased with the the quality of work. Brad and his collegue were able to install recess lights in living, dining and kitchen in 6 hours, they were very efficient.

The owner came over to estimate the job - good guy. The next day 2 electricians, Eric and Matt showed up on time and completed the work as agreed. Mannerly and professional. Respected my home like it was their own. Very clean and tidy. $300 may seem excessive but I have a very high ceiling and they had to run wiring to the fan.

They arrived on time as they said they would. They seemed unsure of how they would get paid and I informed them that I had paid through Angie's list. I believed they were new to the process. They were professional in their demeanor and clean and respectful to my property. I asked about changing the inserts to the dark from the white and there was no maneuvering on their part. They installed a dimmer swithc in white also when all my switches throughout the house are beige. I asked if it could be changed but apparently they didn't have another dimmer switch with them and the one that was installed was was flawed in that you have to toggle up to dim your lights down. The installer said he would alert the owner to correct, but I never heard from them again, not even to find out if I was satisfied and in spite of the fact that I said I would need some additional outside lighting come spring.

Team arrived on-time, got started immediately and finished quickly. Following the install, Brad gave me an overview of features/functionality and provided a condition analysis of the roof and the attic-space. Everything went as smooth as could be and I'm very pleased with the energy-efficiency that I'm gaining!

We needed to replace some light fixtures in our house - the old ones worked fine but were ugly! We were referred to Tri-Point via the SnapFix service. The estimate we received was very clear and detailed (eg $25 to replace a light switch), which I greatly appreciated. I spoke to Brad ahead of time to make sure we had the right types of fixtures. On the day of service, they showed up on time and worked efficiently to get everything completed. The new fixtures look great and work perfectly - we have had no issues.

I think that they're good, but the deal was a little misleading because you had to have an existing fixture. And in Pennsylvania, a lot of houses don't have any existing electrical to the room so I ended up not getting any sort of a deal. He was actually pretty much priced what his highest priced competitors would have given me. And then, he never returned the phone call on seven other electrical issues that I had asked his contractors for. They did a good job but I was not too impressed with the followup and not too impressed with the deal not been quite not what it was supposed to be.

We were originally going to get four lights, but once they measured and decided on placement, they suggested 6 and we are so happy they did. The lights look great. The work was clean and precise.

Brad was super responsive, friendly and knowldegable. The work was done promptly and professionnely. I can't bélière how clean they work.

Brad, from Tri-Point Electric, apologized for not getting back to me. I accepted his apology. The dryer needed two pieces of equipment, and he went to a store to get them. When he returned, he installed the pieces. He only charged me for the equipment. I really appreciated that.

Very professional from the first meeting to the last walkthrough. Every detail from planning the job, scheduling the work, and performing the install was completed on-time, with no surprises, and with people who treated my home with care and were pleasant to work with. The price was very competitive, and the final assessment of the job is clearly an A+. I would highly recommend Tri-Point Electric, and plan to use them for my future electrical needs.

Brad came out and spent 5 minutes asking a few questions and looking at the lights. After that he suggested that the best thing to try first would be to just get LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs because he thought that the transformer was overheating from the lights drawing too much current. LED lights draw much less current. He said he would be happy to investigate further and do whatever work was necessary to fix the problem but that this would be the best first step. He didn't charge us a dime for the advice or the 45 minute each-way trip to our house. We bought a few LED bulbs, unplugged the halogen and tried it out. Everything worked fine, so we bought the rest of the LED bulbs. Everything works perfectly. It's nice to find an honest contractor who isn't just out to make the fast buck (like some others we talked to about this problem who wanted to charge us close to $200 just to investigate the problem). We will hire Tri-Point Electric again any time we have any type of electrical problem. Thank you, Brad, for your honesty and professionalism.

This contractor is too unprofessional to return calls Note to contractors who don?t return phone calls: Returning calls is a requirement to be considered a professional, regardless whether you want the job or not. I will never contact a contractor who doesn?t return my or someone else?s calls.

This was a multi stage and complicated job , but all went very well. When the work was completed , the owner met me and went over the operation of the generator with me to be sure I knew all the moving parts and how to operate them .

Last year, we went without power for six freezing snow days. Tried to make it for the first night with gas kitchen stove turned on, gave up at dawn and went off to stay with family. That did it. Happily, Brad Balentine came to the rescue. We did have a few bids on Generac stand alone, but Brad gave best estimate. He was friendly and informative. After some small delays, the 11kw generator was installed by a very professional outfit working in freezing weather. Brad explained why we did need a concrete base as the ground outside, as the ground really did slope away from the house where the generator was to be placed. That had to be put in a week earlier than the installation. As it happened, the transfer box had to be re-ordered, as it was the wrong size, but otherwise all went well. Generator is self-checking, an runs itself a few minutes once a week -- a happy sound. Payment was simple, 1/2 when order went through, the other half upon completion. No hassle. So far no problems, and really don't expect any, but. I'll call Brad if something turns up. All well done!

Tri-Point did an outstanding job! They showed up on time, explained everything they were doing, left our home neat and clean. I was very impressed by their professionalism and focus on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this organization, excellent work!! Very competitive pricing. Overall A++.

Very professional, knowledgeable,honest, and cordial. At this time I cannot afford to do the project, but will use this company in the future for sure!!!
