Our sewer line had a problem 100 feet from our house. Dan answered the phone on the weekend, came out on a Sunday, identified the problem, recommended a plumber to excavate the front yard and fix the issue, gathered feedback on the plumber, and followed up to make sure everything was fixed. Excellent work and much appreciated.

Three visits were required, the third being the fix to reroute the drain since the drain would have needed to be cut from the floor and doing that type of work was not ideal. The solution was to wrap a new drain line against the walls into the main drain, which he did and now our utility tub drains as expected with a 2" diameter pipe. The service would have been free if the drain problem would not have been fixed, he honors his word and I would use again and recommend.

Dan is great. He came out in an emergency and was able to help solve the problem. This is the second time I've used Dan. He also installed a kitchen faucet and snaked my kitchen pipes; that cost was $271.00. I would use Dan again. He is responsive and responds to texts very quickly. He communicates and will work with you.

Dan showed up as promised and called ahead to give a heads up. I was preoccupied on an work phone call and couldn't make it over to the rental property right away however, Dan persisted and got in touch with the tenant and found his way in without me - which is much appreciated. He worked his magic quickly and professionally and by the time I got there 30 min. later he was already on the road and my drain cleared. Very professional and effective - would recommend to anyone needing this service. As I have 5 rental units, I will definelty use Liberty again in the future.

I woke up to a basement flooded with water, overflowing from the toilet. Of course it also happened to be one of the many snowstorms of this winter. I was referred to Liberty Sewer & Drain Service from my plumber, and when I looked him up I found out that he was on Angie's List. Always a good thing. He was also a Super Service Award winner. So I was extremely confident I had a good company. Dan (the owner) braved the snowstorm to clear my drain, and a few days later (after the snowstorm) came back and did an even more thorough job. In my emergency, Liberty Sewer & Drain Service really came through. I could not give a higher recommendation.

Dan is an ACE A+++. Sewage line backed up with all kinds of nastiness spewing from the lowest drain in the house and flooding my basement. Called Dan Sunday AM. He picked up, was there in under an hour, knew exactly what to do. Fixed the problem in less than 20 min. He even routed around in all the snow to find and flush the clean-out outside. Very reasonable price. Hired him to come back for another less pressing issue on the spot (He said he scheduled me for that tomorrow). Wish everyone I called was half as good!

Dan & Brian showed up right on time after returning my call very quickly. The problem was diagnosed promptly. They were done in approximately 30 minutes. They put "booties" over their shoes every time they entered the house, which was a bonus I've never seen before and much appreciated! Dan checked all the clog sites to make sure they were all working when the clog was fixed. He is very thorough and completely knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. I would definitely use Liberty again!

They were good. They came when they said and did what they were supposed to do at a reasonable price.

I called Liberty back around Thanksgiving to clear a clog in my kitchen sink that happened after I ran too much cabbage through the disposal. Mr Quigley came on time and cleared it in a matter of minutes (the clog was actually in the basement waste line). Today I found my sink had clogged again, this time with no cabbage or clear disposal-related cause. He came out in less than 3 hours and again, cleared it quickly. He explained how the configuration of pipes in my 100+-year-old house was probably contributing to the issue and suggested some things we could do to prevent a recurrence and/or deal with the clog effectively ourselves. He charged me less than his standard rate because we had isolated the problem and he could work immediately on the specific location of the clog without having to do that diagnosis himself. He is professional, responsive, efficient, clean--everything you want in a service provider. I can't recommend him (and Liberty Sewer) highly enough. He's terrific.

A small leak in the basement turned out to be a backed up sewer line. Of course, I would discover this on a Friday. Called Dan and left a message. He called back and arranged to be here Monday between 10 am and noon. Around 11am, he called to let me know he was running behind. No worries, though. It had been a wild weather weekend, so it was understandable. Once he and his partner arrived, they went to work solving the problem. Everything was done cleanly (quite a feat, considering), rather quietly and with great professionalism. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of such services.

Called Saturday morning and left a message that I needed a kitchen sink drain cleared. Received callback within 30 minutes and Dan arrived on schedule a few hours later. He was organized, clean, and finished in about 20 minutes. He did a thorough job snaking the pipe and will be my first call for any future drain work.

Friday, the 13th: go figure! We noticed water seeping out from under our ground level toilet after showering, using the dishwasher or washing machine. I suspected the ancient wax seal under the toilet, and a possible partial obstruction of the lateral from the house to the street. After spending the weekend researching on Angie's List, I decided on Liberty Sewer and Drain Services because of their excellent reviews, and called on Monday, December 16. Within two hours, Dan, the owner returned my call and we scheduled his visit for the next day. It snowed, and we spoke early on the 17th, rescheduling for December 18. Dan called twenty minutes before his arrival on the 18th to let me know he and Brian were on the way. Great communication all the way! Dan and Brian removed the toilet and to our mutual consternation, discovered that there was no flange beneath it, just an old wax seal sitting on the sheet vinyl over concrete floor! With the toilet removed, Dan and Brian threaded the camera snake through the hole in the floor and inspected our entire 200' foot lateral to the street, expertly negotiating the sweeping 180 degree turn, working from cleanout to cleanout. We were pleased to discover only a minor blockage which the camera poked through. It was caused by a piece of pipe scale trapping solids, but no roots or pipe misalignment or damage! A good whoosh from a full washing machine took care of cleaning the lateral. A quick trip to the supply house produced a flange and new wax seal for the toilet, which was reinstalled - correctly, this time! All the time, Dan and Brian were careful to keep the area clean, and the access through the house to the bathroom where they worked. They let me watch the video as the camera progressed through the lateral, which was most reassuring that we should not experience problems in the future. All in all, we were extremely pleased with the communication, the expert, careful service, and the price we received from Liberty Sewer and Drain and should the need arise, we would use them again! I called Liberty Sewer at 2:30 pm on Friday afternoon and they arrived within the hour to unclog my kitchen sink. I had never used them before but when I discovered that my sink would not drain, I immediately looked for help on Angie's List. Liberty Sewer had 116 "A" ratings so I thought I would give them a try. I never expected that they would be able to assist so quickly. Dan, the owner, was very professional and pleasant. He explained that my garbage disposal was just fine and that the drain just had to be snaked. My problem was solved within 30 minutes!! I will definitely call Dan for all future plumbing issues.

The service was A+ and Dan even gave us instructions on how we could utilize the pipe in the floor and make a small second bathroom. Dan was professional, personable, and punctual. I would recommend Liberty Drain to anyone and would definitely use them again if we have more problems in the future. A+ all around.

We called Dan on Sat night He actually answered the phone He was on a job that he had to finish so he couldnt come right over Since the outside vent obviously was in the dark The best he could do was next morning Sunday at 9AM Dan was on time and got right to it Most knowlegeble and professional service person I have delt with in a long time Highly reccomend him! I recently bought a house and then hired Liberty Sewer to do a video inspection of the main sewer drain. (My inspector had advised me to get this done and warned me that the drain might need to be replaced.) Dan performed the inspection, told me the pipe was fine, and fixed the access port (it hadn't been fitted with a proper plug). He was personable and honest. I was so happy I didn't need to have the line cleaned or replaced?I didn't care too much about the price. I have no idea what other people charge for what he did. Overall I felt good about Dan and the whole experience.

I called Dan and told him my tub was leaking into the basement. He came out and discovered that one of the faucet handle pipes was only hand tight, so the water was leaking down the wall and around the tub. He repaired that. Then we discussed other problems, so we scheduled him to come back the next week. He gave me a quote to do the work. He came out the next week to replace the tub waste and overflow, drum trap, and laundry sink faucet. He charged me less than the quote. He and his helper, Brian, were very professional and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the job!

Went great. After my initial contact of leaving a message for Dan he got in touch with me about 5 minutes later. We decided on a free estimate look see. He did this on a Sunday which I thought was amazing. We agreed that he would come back on Monday and he assured me that the price would be $135 no matter what or how long it took. He was true to his word. It took him only 20 minutes to put things right. This was a job that I was having nightmares about. I thought it would cost a fortune to fix and had put it off for quite a while. The latest flood in the basement made the decision for me. I am so glad I contacted him. I would recommend him 100% to anyone who needs a good honest plumber. Thanks Dan and if I ever need you again I will give you a call no hesitation

Went great. Turns out that I didn't need anything done, but the man who came was professional and good humored.

The whole experience was great. Dan was prompt in showing up, quick and efficient in his work and was also knowledgeable and friendly to talk with. He explained the problem and offered advice on how to avoid it in the future. Liberty Sewer and Drain offered a coupon which made the price great, but even without it, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any other draining issues.

It went very well. Dan took his time. Crawled in the the crawl space to evaulate the plumbing and gave us and honest assessment of the condition of the plumbing. He did not try to sell us un-needed repairs.

After having phone problems on my end, I emailed the company which was responded to within five minutes. The owner made time in his schedule the very next day, came out, assessed my problem, told me honestly that I needed to have my pipes repaired due to cracking... and didn't charge me for the service call. He met up with my friend as I was in work. From what I understand, he was professional, well educated about the issue and even gave me a recommendation of who to call. Awesome! Thank you .

We had a backed-up kitchen sink. This happened on a Sunday afternoon. I called Dan and left him a message, and he called me right back. He was willing to work around our work schedules. He showed up right on time, assessed the problem, gave me a fair price, and was quick to fix it. Apparently we had a pretty nasty clog that had built up over time, and at one point he thought we might have had a bigger sewer line back up. However, he tested the line and found that that was not the case, thankfully. Not only did he do great work, but he is a genuinely friendly guy with a good attitude, something you don't always find in home repair. I will definitely call him again.

They were able to fix the problem. They were quick and their prices were reasonable. They were prompt for the appointment. The technician that came out was very considerate.
