+ 0 moreDan Quigley, the owner, did most of the work. He was very professional, responding in a timely way for estimating and scheduling. He answered my detailed questions ahead of time and did not try to upsell me. While he worked, he did not mind that I hung around and asked even more questions, mostly, I think, because he knows what he is doing and is confident in that. Finally, when it became apparent that video scoping of the drain would not be necessary and when he discovered that one of the 6 drains had been plugged with concrete, so no cleaning was necessary, he knocked a substantial amount off the final bill. All in all, very competent and good work.

+ -1 moreDan came out to look at a slow draining shower at my 110-year-old house. I had tried Drano and snaking it with no success. He looked at the shower and recommended that I use an enzyme clog remover instead. He said there is a good chance that forcing the pipe would end up breaking it. He then did not charge me anything for the visit. He also said that he will text me another product that a commercial property management company uses with great success in case the enzyme cleaner does not work. Needless to say, if I ever need drain or sewer work again I will call him back.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job at cleaning out the pipe as it was starting to back up in the house. Tree roots had clogged the line and they cleaned it all out. Owner takes care in what he does and makes sure the job is done right. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreI highly recommend Liberty Sewer and Drain Services. Dan explained all of my options to me as far as my tub drain was concerned. Thankfully he was able to clear it quickly and non-invasively (did not have to replace any parts or cut through ceiling, thank God!). He also cleared my kitchen sink/laundry sink drain. He showed up on time, price was great, he cleaned up after himself and was a very nice guy on top of all that. Thank you again Dan!

The nurse that takes care of my sickly mom accidentally hanged up on him and he went out of his way to give us another chance. He guaranteed his work. He was very understanding. If possible, a double A+ for him. I would hire him and I would highly recommend him.

Listened to me — even suggested not working on the (spare) bathtub until we need it. Came first to assess the problems and then came back again with all the supplies needed to complete the job — from his shop 30 miles away. Only charged for one visit. Creative and knowledgeable.

+ -1 moreThey sent a technician promptly. I've lost his name, but his was first rate: polite, communicated clearly, found the source of the problem in a clogged pipe in the yard. He told me that if he was able to clear the clog with electric snake the cost would be one price; if he had to cut out roots etc. then the cost would be greater. The prices were very acceptable. He showed me how roots had grown into the pipe and had to be removed. He use a type of saw to cut the roots out It required a while for this work. He showed me the cleared pipe and what he had removed. The problem was solved by this work. I was entirely satisfied by the work and would hire Liberty again.
Description of Work: A clogged main drain caused a back up into a toilet that flooded my laundry room. I contacted Liberty. (Main sewer line rodding from outside cleanout or curb trap. Pulled out tree roots and grease.)

Description of Work: I called my regular plumber for 48 hours and got no response. I had no use of my kitchen or main bathroom. Called Liberty at 10:30 AM and was told would have service between Noon and 2 PM. And would receive a call 1/2 hour prior to arrival. Dan called at 11:30 to advise he completed a prior job and would be here shortly. It took a little more then 1/2 hour and Dan cleared kitchen, bathroom sinks, as well as our bathtub. We were so pleased with everything about the company that we are having a comfort height toilet installed next week.

He has been to my home many times for different things and there is nothing he wont do. He teaches you things, he is kind, patient and just top of the line. I would recommend him to anybody. He also has the camera equipment.
Description of Work: They are wonderful. He is very professional, he is extremely, patient and thorough. including his workers. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them and they clean up after themselves. They explain everything that they do and they have a book that includes all of the prices and everything for me to see and they check off what i need done so I can see how much everything will be. My home is from the 1930's and I have an original drain that he fixed for me. In my furnace room there is an open drain that have cast iron covers with big holes in there in case the sewage backs up but the sewage was coming through the holes and Dan recorded everything for me and he has fixed the problem for me.

+ 0 moreInitially it didn't look good, as my home is very old and there's no access to the trap between the house and the main sewer under the street. Dan was not able to clear the blockage via snake because it was past the trap. He went over the options with me, clearly stating prices and the pros/cons of each possible solution. We ended up starting with the least expensive procedure, and it worked! This is in contrast to an experience I had several years ago with a bigger company that told me they'd need to dig up my front yard to solve the problem, at a cost of several thousand dollars. Dan took care of it in two hours without breaking the bank. I would definitely hire him again.

+ 0 moreWe did not find animal location, but were able to rule out sewer smell. As odor was not caused by a plumbing leak, Liberty said they would not charge me for appointment! Liberty came out to diagnose my problem the day after I called them, so I asked for them to bill me, even though they offered to waive the charges. These guys are a class act!

+ -1 moreI discovered my sewer line had backed up on a Sat. afternoon. How hard was it going to be to get a professional out to address the problem late in the day on a weekend? Thankfully, my phone message was immediately returned, and Bryan promised to be there in a couple hours. He was, and proceeded to snake the sewer line. He identified the problem, which I will need to get another company to address. The work was messy, but he left the area as clean as it could be. While my problem was not fixed, I was very appreciative of the quick response and the professional work that was done.
Description of Work: Snaked main sewer line from inside clean-out toward street connection. Established that the T-junction under the vent stack had collapsed, causing the blockage.

They arrived on time, explained everything to me, performed the work efficiently and timely and informed me of the state of my sewer pipes from the house to the road. I wanted to understand our responsibilities and how to maintain the system. Dan answered all of my questions patiently. He also recommended we install a cap on the end of a open pipe we had in the basement and looked to see if they had one to leave with me. Dan was a great guy who cared about his business and reputation and most importantly, the customer. I will hire him again in a second, hopefully, it will only be for maintenance.

+ 0 moreIt was okay. He was decent. He did a good job for what he did. There was something I was happy with the pipes he did. He did a good job. With the drain, it was too high for what he did. It's a little more pricey than I expected for the drain cleaning. There was a problem with the stopper but they couldn't get that. Overall, he did a good job at a good price. He was a nice guy. He charged $350 for the drain pipes he had to put in as well as a new faucet. He's very responsive and he's on time. He's very professional.
