Our experience with Liberty Sewer & Drain Services was fabulous! The drain in our basement became blocked Sunday evening and ended up gushing about 20 gallons of water. (Yikes!) We called Liberty Sewer first thing Monday morning (TODAY!!) and we spoke with Dan who sent over a technician about two hours later. Our technician, Bryan, was friendly, courteous, professional, and did an excellent and expedient job of clearing the blockage in our drain. I'm normally riddled with anxiety when I have to schedule repairs with people in this city, but not this morning! Dan was polite, understanding, easy to speak with, and quick! He was also very clear about pricing, which was incredibly, perhaps generously, fair. His technician, Bryan was super nice and did a great job! Dan and Bryan were both great at communicating the progress of the job as well. I'm so relieved to have this matter resolved and I am absolutely thrilled I called Liberty Sewer & Drains. We will definitely call them again to clear the roots in our drains as part of our yearly summer maintenance. Thanks for being awesome, guys!

Liberty Sewer and Drain are miracle workers. We had a serious clog/obstruction in the pipe leading from our kitchen sink that two other plumbing services, recommended through our home warranty company, could not break through with their "snakes". We live in a second floor condo and we're told that the clog was far down in the drain, below our floor level, inside the unit owners condo below us. Nightmare scenario for sure! We were facing having to knock down our neighbor's wall to get to the clog in the pipe. Rather than being hasty and causing damage to our downstairs neighbor, we were advised to have it snaked again but this time with a video scope. We called Angie's List, explained our situation and what was suggested and within minutes they emailed us with the names of 4 companies that could do the "video scoping". We called Liberty and dealt with Dan Quigley. He came the following day, snaked the pipe again and, viola, it cleared. Best $135 ever spent. Plus - if it didn't work, we would not have been charged. We will be using Liberty in the future for all of our plumbing issues.

Bryan was prompt, courteous, and set to work immediately after ascertaining the situation. He unclogged the drain and cleaned up everything afterwatd. I was very pleased, particularly at how quickly this company responded to my request.

I had a very good experience with your company and would gladly do business with you again. I had a serious blockage in my main pipe that went to my septic tank. This was causing water to back up into my bathtub whenever I flushed my toilet or ran the shower. You had this blockage cleared within 10-15 minutes. You were very efficient and a pleasure to do business with. I was very reluctant to have any plumbing services at my house so I tried everything I could to fix the problem myself. I figured if I called someone for help, it would cost me at least a thousand dollars but I did not have that experience with you. You charged me only $154. Thanks again for the great work and fair pricing. I have been on angies list for about 2 years and have never been pleased enough with a company to go out of my way to write a review but you deserve a nice review. I highly recommend anyone to this company. You won't regret it.

Although I didn't have them come out to the house, all communication was promptly responded to. Dan was professional and accommodating to my schedule. I would use them for any future drain issues.

Dan called the morning of the appointment to confirm I was still available. Bryan arrived on time. I showed him the problem. He quoted me a price. He worked for about 2 hours. When he finished my sewer line was unclogged and the toilet and washing machine drained without problem. Bryan is pretty easy going and a pleasure to work with.

Out of 7 providers that I called--one even being a major plumbing chain, claiming 24/7 service; Dan responded that he could come out the same day. He asked questions doing the initial phone call and indicated that while he had other jobs, he would definitely come out--He kept his word! He called to let me know when he was on his way. He assessed the situation explained what would need to be done. He was very nice and made me laugh with his great sense of humor. The next day, his team got to work. Dan explained what they were doing and at the end, the cost was well within my budget and for that I am extremely happy and grateful! I definitely recommend Liberty Sewer and Drain Service!

Professional, prompt, and quick. A little pricey for just a clog but it was a flat fee regardless of how complex the fix was. Worth the money. Completed in about 20 minutes.

We couldn't run any water in the house without it backing up into basement toilet. They answered phone after hours and came right out following morning. Got the drain cleared quickly and for a reasonable price. We would definitely use again.

Dan was honest, reliable and professional who came to my rescue when I needed him. I called him at 5:33 pm with my sewage back-up problem and, as luck would have it, he was on a job located nearby and said he'd swing by to take a look. At 7:30 pm Dan showed up and in about an hour, in the dark, diagnosed our problem: a blocked pipe on the house side. He determined that the root blockage had to be reached from our basement. He gave me a ballpark idea of what it would cost and promised to return the next morning to resolve my problem. Sure enough Dan showed up right on time and restored our drainage problems in an hour. He cleaned up completely after himself and did I mention he wears orange shoe covers before he walks into your house? He also chose the least expensive route to take and came well below his preliminary estimate. Also, as an AL member, offered me a coupon for an annual cleaning at an affordable cost.

Dan was prompt at returning my initial call and was able to put me on his schedule the next day. Dan and Brian were punctual, courteous, and performed the inspection leaving the site clean.

All went as planned - would not hesitate to use again.

Service was prompt and accommodating. My drain had backed up twice and I was told by a major plumbing service that I had a crack in the pipe and possible obstruction and that it needed to be replaced. Liberty assured me the pipe was fine. They were truly a blessing.

Dan was able to accommodate my schedule and come after 5 pm same day which was great. He was prompt and honest and helped us understand what was causing the problem, and how we could take care of it ourselves in the future. It's so rare to work with a contractor who is upfront and forward about the issue and doesn't try to overcharge you! I would recommend their services to anyone.

The drain had been slow running and then contractors poured several buckets of watery grout down the drain and it was completely blocked. They tried to snake it but couldn't penetrate the blockage. I called Liberty and spoke to Bryan twice. He came out the day I called him and scheduled the appointent. He called to say he was finished his earlier job and could come sooner if I would be available. He had to work on the darain for a while, slowly and with patience. He took the head off the snake and kept working it. He tried different things and in about 25 minutes it was totally clear. He wiped up after himself and was very pleasant. While he was working I asked him twice if he thought he could clear the drain and he said he was pretty sure, He would have to go slow and keep working with the snake. I was thrilled it was fixed in about 25 minutes and only cost $135. He drove and hour to the house. I thought the charge was very reasonable. I have already recommended him to two people and it has only been a day since the work was done. Bryan couldn't have been nicer and more professional.

I've used Dan before. He's easy to work with and dependable. Returned my message within an hour. Scheduled an appointment within a couple of days. Gave a call about 30 minutes before he showed up. Came in, removed shoes, looked at the problem. His co-worker went to the truck for the tools and they got down to work. Few minutes later all was fixed.

He was very professional and quick to respond. It was hard to find someone at a reasonable price to do this small job. Will definitely use again.

We needed an old toilet replaced. Called a plumber, from the yellow pages. He said not only did we need a new toilet, but all the pipes in the house, needed to be replaced too. My wife, reminded me of Angie's List. I'm glad she did! We found Liberty Sewer and Drain Services LLC Left a message, and not long afterwards, got a call back from Dan Quigley. We set up an appointment, he arrived when he said he would. He looked at the toilet and confirmed that we did need a new toilet. I asked him about the pipes in the house, which the other plumber told us were ready to burst. Dan inspected them, showed us and told us, There ISN'T anything wrong with them! He replaced the old toilet that needed to be replaced. His work was EXCELLENT, His price, was very reasonable too! He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and HONEST! As a consumer, Isn't that what we all want?!

I called the company over the weekend and got a call back in 10 minutes. They scheduled to come to my house at 10 am on Monday and showed up on time. They diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and fixed within 1/2 hour. Very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. When I need drain or plumbing repair - I will call liberty sewer.

The Owner of Liberty Sewer scheduled an appointment immediately and Brian showed up right on time the day of the appointment. I received a call 30 minutes before he got to my property.Brian was very professional and patient. The price was so affordable that I saved over $100 compared to other plumbers. Brian also made sure everything was working normally before he left. In addition, he gave me some suggestions on how to stop the problem from happening in the future. I will definitely recommend them and will use them again. I am new the Angie's list and I am very happy with the results!

We called a bunch of people, but they were the ones to be able to come quickly. He did not try to up-sell. He did the necessary steps first. We called them early Saturday evening around dinner time because that was when the problem occurred. They tried to come Sunday, but they wanted to have two guys so they came at 8 o’clock Monday morning. Our experience with them was positive all the way around. They called us several times within 24-hours because he was actually looking for a second guy on-call to come, but he could not find one like they were trying to get here on Sunday. They were here on time and they were very professional.

I called about 4:01 PM on Saturday 02-07-14 when I noticed water on the basement floor after a shower upstairs. Left a message to get a call back. At 4:08 PM I received a call back stating that they would be around 6 PM. Around 5 PM I got a knock at the door. They ask me what the problem was, reviewed the situation and told me what the price would be. It took about 2 hours to clear out the clog that was towards the the street. They first tried to go via the downstairs toilet since the sewage stack was behind drywall in the basement. After that did not work, they cut a small opening in the wall (behind a table so you can even see it) and cleared the clog. They set everything back to normal and were on their way. Pretty good deal for a Saturday late afternoon. Best outcome I could hope for as far as clog sewer lines go. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again (hoping I do not need to).

After 3 visits from a national plumbing franchise (who failed to fix the problem, and told us we'd need to replace the whole sewer line - they quoted us $6700 to do so), we called Liberty, hoping to at the very least get a lower quote. Although Dan does not replace sewer lines (but could recommend companies that do), what he did do was even more valuable. He fully snaked our line, and confirmed (contrary to what we'd been told) that our line was functioning fine, and did not need to be replaced. He also diagnosed the real culprit - ultra-quilted toilet paper, which doesn't break down and gets stuck in the bends and trap of our line. He was personable, but to the point. His price was much lower than the initial snaking we had done by the other company, and my confidence in him is much greater. I didn't feel like he was trying to up-sell me on any service - he just got right down to business. I will definitely call Liberty again. (Although here's hoping I won't have to!)

They were expensive but the services were worth it. He came out within 2 hours of when we called. Very professional.
