Dan came out when he said he would. Checked out my sewer pipe and found the problem coming from next door neighbor. He was very professional and personable.

Our kitchen sink has a long drain line with multiple bends. We have a pretty good garbage disposal, so it took about 5 years for me to jam it up so bad that my husband could not unblock it. Dan coordinated with my husband (several phone calls) to get here at a time that was good for him. He quoted a price for replacing the complicated arrangement of pipes under the sink and unclogging the drain, and even though the clog was more resistant than he had thought, the price stayed the same. He was pleasant throughout, and explained things to us as he worked and gave us advice on avoiding problems in the future. We were very impressed, and will definitely use him again.

Exceptional service and experience. Tuesday night, sewage is coming out of the basement toilet. Not a pleasant sight! I called Liberty at 7:00 am the next morning, and spoke with Dan. He said he could come out that morning. He had two other emergency calls that morning, and said he could get to my house between 10 and 12. Dan arrived within the window quoted, and called 30 minutes ahead to let me know he was on his way. Dan surveyed the problem and gave a thorough diagnosis. It was raining and Dan was willing to spend some time, about an hour or so, to wait for the rain to slow down so that he could operate his machine safely. The rain slowed down, and Dan cleared the sewer line from the outside, and also came in and augured the basement toilet to ensure it was clear from any back up. Overall, an exceptional experience. Dan is honest, punctual, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend Dan and Liberty to anyone needing their services.

Working with Dan was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. He showed up after-hours to help us diagnose our problem and went through a checklist of the possible problems and potential solutions. It was great because he didn't charge an extra fee for after-hours visits and he came with a pre-printed a price list documenting each possible solution so I knew exactly what he would do and that the price would remain the same regardless of how long it took to do the work. Dan left us reassured that night and promised to be there early in the morning to diagnose the problem specifically. Dan arrived first thing in the morning and snaked the pipe. We got bad news, he came to find out that the pipe had separated at the wall and would need to be replaced. This meant that the front lawn had to be dug up, the drain pipe replaced. I have heard horror stories about this type of thing and was pretty worried about how much this would cost and whether I would be able to use my water for the next few days. Thinking I was going to have to take my family to hotel for a couple days, I asked Dan what he thought it would take to the job done. Dan was very calm and explained the situation. After looking at his scedule, he called in a few favors and moved around a few jobs and was able to get the job done by 4pm that day. If you talk to other people this was an extremely quick turnaround and quote was so much lower than other contractors and contracting services that I contacted. I can't thank Dan enough for the work he did. He was professional, helpful, really friendly and left us feeling that we had hired the best contractor for the job. The regret I have is that it took me this long to post this review because others may not have known what a great experience they could have if they worked with Dan and Liberty. A few other notes: - Dan was very professional and clean. He work shoe covers the moment he entered the house and was very nice to my wife and children. He left the job feeling more like a family friend than a contractor who provided a service - Dan's price list for services was great. It was really helpful to be able to look at his sheet and see what the services he provided were and what costs were associated with each service. It is a really great thing for the customer because he doesn't charge an hourly fee and so the costs you see on the sheet are the costs you pay when the work is done - Dan brought in sub-contractors to work on the job and they were just as friendly and professional as he was. They dug up the lawn and a mulch bed and when they left, everything looked exactly as it did before they arrived to do the work - You can't beat the price for the work. Really - call around to other contractors and the quotes you get just don't compare

I was offended by his attitude and curtness

We were able to get an appointment the next day to deal with the sink. The technician Dan called before arriving and showed up on time. He asked questions about what we had done on our own to date and went about fixing the problem. He also checked out some other plumbing issues that we had without being asked - He went out of his way to be helpful about our recent sump pump failure and offered some advice on how to move forward there in ways that did not involve hiring him which was nice and impressive. The estimate he gave us was on the high side of his range but he did take the coupon here which mitigated that somewhat. The work itself seemed to take very little time - he spent more time advising on other issues that he didn't charge us for. I don't know exactly what he did to the drain but whatever it was cleared it so well it was draining quickly and we have a 30 day warranty on the work. He offered some practical and cost-saving advice on how to keep the drain cleared and went on his way.

Job went perfectly. They were able to fit me in quickly, arrived promptly, worked cleanly, cleaned up effectively. No hidden fees, no upcharges. Solid work at a fair price. Second time using liberty, very highly recommended.

I was very impressed with Dan's professionalism, integrity, fair pricing, communication, and willingness to accommodate our schedule. On his second visit, he came after we got home from work (8 pm- 9:30 pm). I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to Liberty Sewer and Drain from a fellow investor. When Dan show up he cleared a minor clogged in my kitchen sink. After a very detailed lesson of how the drain system works Dan revealed an alley drain that I did not even know existed because it was completely filled and covered with dirt. After that discovery Dan ran a camera through my basement drain and he showed me how my house tied-in to the city and he pointed out the integrity of my sewer system. Dan then cleared up the basement sink that was slow due to the washing machine. I was impressed by Dan's confidence and obvious knowledge of a system I never really gave much thought too. I have not had a problem with any of the drains mentioned above, and I took Dan advice and stopped putting potato skins in the garbage disposal. I have recommended Liberty Sewer and Drain to friends and colleges in the past and I will continue in the future.
