Dan was great. Called prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Arrived earlier than expected. Was able to complete the job, provide a warranty, and give us some much needed peace of mind. Would reccommend to anyone in need of a reliable drain service.

Our washing machine drains into the sink which is located in the garage. Sunday night we found the sink was full of water, and not draining. There was water all over the garage floor. A real mess. We tried to unclog the drain ourselves, but couldn't. I went on Angie's list, and based on ALL of the positive remarks, I called Liberty Sewer and Drain Services LLC. Since it was late sunday night i didn't expect anyone to call me back. Dan, the owner called me right back. I explained my problem, and Dan said I can be there tomorrow morning. Dan, showed up on time. He was professional, friendly, and honest. He got right to work, and fixed our drain. Before he left, Dan, checked everything out, and made sure everything was draining properly. I was extremely happy with his work. His price was excellent too. I would highly recommend Dan, and use him again.

From first speaking with Dan during the estimate call, I felt confident about hiring him to do the job. He was very honest with me, and he was also straight-forward about the estimate process, not requiring I set aside a separate date to have an in-person estimate. I appreciated being able to get an estimate over the phone, since I am so busy. Dan was helpful in providing me helpful advice on picking out the best toilet to fit our needs. Between what he used in his own home, as well as frequent customer requests, he had a lot of good information to guide us and help us find the best quality and best price for the toilet hardware purchase. The day of the job, Dan arrived on time and well prepared. He was extremely careful in the house, making sure to wear booties on his work boots, and kept his work area very clean, immediately wiping up any water. He carefully drained the old toilet, and boxed it up for trash removal. When putting together the new toilet, he was very careful to not mark up the floor, by putting cardboard underneath the pieces as he worked. He made sure all the bolts to hold the toilet base were well tightened, checking a few times that the base would not shift or rock. He was very efficient, friendly and knowledgable. I felt very confident in his work, and I'd definitely hire him again for our next plumbing job. We're very happy with our new toilet. Dan gave us a great recommendation, and I've even had friends and family comment on the toilet, saying they'd like to get the same model themselves!

Dan at Liberty Sewer and Drain was great! I called him in a panic as water was pouring into my basement and I was looking for someone to come out right away. He explained that he would be happy to come out, but due to the heavy rains we were experiencing, it would likely be a waste of money as the city sewer system was overloaded. He even checked the radar for me and assured me that the rain would be slowing up. We made an appointment for first thing the next morning and he arrived promptly. He looked at the drain in my basement and checked the drain out on the street and explained the drain to the street was clogged. He quickly fixed it, all the while remaining cheerful and friendly as we stood outside in the blustery weather. He also reattached the plug for the drain in the basement - and when I asked whether I should be scheduling regular maintenance for the sewer drain to avoid problems in the future, he told me quite honestly that he didn't think it would be necessary and that he didn't want to sell me a service that I didn't need, which I really appreciated, because I think a less scrupulous person would have seen an opportunity to make extra money off of me (since I clearly didn't know anything about sewer drains)! He was great to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for sewer drain services - and I certainly know who I will be calling if I ever need assistance with such a problem in the future!

Overall, our experience with Liberty Sewer and Drain LLC was excellent. When my husband got home from work I told him there was water on the floor of our basement that I'd noticed that morning. My husband went down to take a look and discovered that an inside pipe was leaking very fast (we were emptying a bucket of water every 10 minutes.) He also noticed our washing machine sink was clogged and backed up. We weren't sure if we could get a plumber to come out at night. I called a few places unsuccessfully and then tried Liberty. Dan answered our call at 6 PM, I told him the problem and I asked if he'd be willing to come out that evening. He said he would and promised to call as soon as he was finished the job he was working on. Dan called as promised and arrived at our house about a half hour after his call. From our first phone call to the time he got back in his truck to leave, Dan was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and did excellent work. He worked in our basement and then attended to the drain on the front lawn. His work was excellent and the entire experience went smoothly and proficiently We would recommend Liberty and would certainly call him again for any future plumbing work.

Dan arrived at the stated time, told me what the problem was and gave me a price. He was very professional and knowlegable about drain cleaning and I was very pleased with the service.

Our kitchen sink drain completely backed up and I attempted to clear the clog by running the garbage disposal, causing some leaking under the sink. Dan (owner) came out the day I called, assessed the issue, and quoted me a fair flat rate. He went to work snaking the pipe that was involved, choosing to approach it from the basement both to protect our kitchen hardwood floors from the mess and to gain better access to where the clog was lodged. It turned out that the process would have to be repeated the next day to fully clear the clog. Dan and an assistant were back at our house the first thing in the morning, cleared the clog, and confirmed that there was no leaking under the sink. The sink empties now faster than it has in the 25 years I have lived in this 50 year old house. You take for granted how much impact not being able to use your kitchen sink has on your daily life. When the clog happened, I turned to Angie's list because I did not know a plumber. Liberty Sewer and Drain Services was at the top of the list and righfully so. Everything said in the reviews is spot on. Dan's expertise and stellar customer service is something to be valued. We won't hestitate to use him again and will certainly recommend him to our friends.

Before we called Dan, we had a plumber come out and said that the job would require taking a wall out. So we called Liberty (Dan) who either answered the phone or called back immediately. He was able to schedule us for the next morning and assured me that a wall was probably not going to have to come down. Sure enough, he arrived, snaked it from the roof and was done in no time. He is extremely professional, reasonable, responsive and knowledgeable. I will use him and refer him plenty.

I had a cloged sewer line that was backing up into my basement. After failing to clean it out myself, I came to Angie's list looking for help and found Liberty Sewer and Drain Services. I scheduled an appointment, and they came out at the agreed upon time. They troubleshooted the problem and determined the clog was from the trap outside my house to the city's main sewer line. Within 30 minutes of arriving, the clog was cleared. They were very professional, and I would definitely hire them again.

Dan came to our home very soon, checked the status, and told me the possibilities, best scenario, worst scenario etc. He not only worked very hard to solve the issue, but also tried his best to keep everywhere clean and neat. After several hours hard work, the problem is fixed. The final price is within his estimate before the work started. Dan is very professional, considerate, and nice. Excellent experience. Liberty was able to come onto the scene on a Sunday, the week of 4th of July! They unclogged the sewer that day, and then came back the next day to install new piping and pump out the flooded basement. Price was very good too! I dont think my experience could have gone any smoother.

Saturday evening, my tenant informed me of raw sewage backing up in the basement utility sink. He tried to unclog it using a consumer auger, but he had no success. In turn, I called Dan from Liberty Sewer, who responded immediately. It was late in the evening, but Dan assured me that he would be there first thing in the morning. The next day he arrived when he said he would and met with my tenant (I could not be there and my tenant is long term and trustworthy). Dan was able to unclog the main sewer line within the hour and called me to inform me of everything. He conveniently emailed me an invoice and took payment via phone. My tenant told me that he was professional and efficient. I experienced the same from him. The process was exactly how I would like to experience good service as a landlord.

I'm a DIY'er and screwed around with the issue for hours before throwing in the towel. Could not have asked for better service and will not hesitate to call Liberty the next time a drain/sewage problem occurs.

I called because my kitchen sink was clogged and the plumber actually answered, not a machine. He was very courteous and came to my house within an hour! He said upfront that if he didn't fix it there would be no charge. However, he had no problem removing the clog and the drain works great now. He also gave a 30 day guarantee for his work. He's a very nice guy and gave me lots of helpful information to avoid future problems.

We had a backed up sewer line that prior estimates indicated was a root problem or a collapsed drain to cost up to $9000 to repair. Liberty shows up, locates the outside vent (which was buried under years of overgrowth), plunges it a few times - and voila! clear sewer line! On top of that it was an evening service call within a couple of hours of us calling for service. We were practically drowning in sewage for weeks while trying to get this resolved. Oh! If only we had called Liberty Sewer to begin with!We are happy now and will rest easy knowing the work is guaranteed.

Not much to add. Dan and Bill were here almost to the minute they said they would, explained everything, and cleaned up! Dan is a day and night working machine!
