Description of Work: We needed emergency service for an ant infestation discovered during a renovation. While a technician came within a few days, no one ever came for additional scheduled appointments. Our exterior kitchen wall could not be replaced until additional treatment was performed- we had to hire a different provider to allow the contractors to continue the project.

Description of Work: We were selling my mother's house and home inspection came back with evidence of termites. We had three exterminators come thru the house, including teminex, who could find no evidence of termites. Terminex came up with a compromise solution that enabled the house sale to go forward which also saved us a considerable sum of money.

WE HAD A CARPENTER ANT PROBLEM AND HIRED TERMINIX. THEY SOLD US A CONTRACT WHEREIN THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE ON A MONTHLY BASIS - EVEN IN THE DEAD OF WINTER. ONE TIME WE WEREN'T HOME SO THE GUY DID NOT GET IN TO GIVE US SERVICE. THEY STILL CHARGED US SAYING HE PERFORMED OUTSIDE SERVICE - THIS WAS IN DECEMBER IN PITTSBURGH - I THINK HE MUST HAVE SPPRINKLED SOME ANT POISON IN THE SNOW. IN ANY CASE, WE ENDED UP WITH HUGE WINGED CARPENTER ANTS IN OUR HOUSE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE FIRED TERMINIX AND HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY, WHO HAS DONE A MUCH BETTER AND MORE COST EFFECTIVE JOB.
