Terminix - Bridgeville -Termite & Pest Control

We had some experience with Terminix before and we were satisfied so we called them again for another estimate. He showed up on time and provided a thorough report explaining what services we would need. We haven't made a decision yet with who we are going with but we keep Terminix in mind.

I have had not see anymore stink bugs, even though they said there's nothing to stop those bugs.

We have always been very happy with them.

They do a good job and I don't seem to have any insect problems.

Overall Terminix was excellent. They were very responsive when we called, & were easy to schedule with. They were able to work around our busy schedule and come in the evening hours. They located where we were having problems with mice getting into our house & set traps. They also treated they house for other pests. The experience was very good, they were very communicative, sending is reminder emails of the service. The employees were very professional and friendly.

If you have a problem, there is usually someone out within one or two hours; that is amazing for a big company like that. Whatever they use is safe for my animals but spiders do not survive once the cross the threshold into my house. The pricing is not outrageous and I’m frugal. I have a termite contract on my rentals and they put these test things in to make sure there aren’t any active termites in the area. They always call the day before they come out. I can’t say enough good about Terminix. We had a non-destructive colony move into our rental and Terminix came out about three times in two days just to make sure they wouldn’t be prolific. There is no extra charge; that is included in your annual contract. We were having a problem with yellow jackets and they came out for that too. They are fair and decent. You don’t have to worry about anything because they’ll call you before your coverage expires so that you won’t have a lapse. They move stuff that is in the way so that they are thorough with their job, and they make sure not to inconvenience you. Whatever they use is potent but also safe. My puppy will follow him around and if that weren’t okay he would tell me to put the dog away. They are just amazing on all levels.

They are very professional. I will continue using him again.

We've had a contract with them for years. They will call before they are coming and if we want them to spray inside the house we just have to tell them but we have to be here. The termite treatment was pretty substantial because they had to drill every 6 feet. We have always been happy with them. Anytime we have an issue they come out and it is free. They are good.

Their price was very good compared to the other quotes. They completed the job quicker than they had estimated.

Two technicians came, one did inspection, the other applied the treatments. They were very courteous, thorough and answered all of my questions. They were also very nice to our dog! The $155.00 was for the initial service, and i was required to sign a one year contract which includes quarterly treatments (3 more) at a cost of $90 per (total $425.00 for the year).

Salesman polite and efficient. Followed up after estimate. Work done in a prompt and efficient manner. My dad who is extremely picky was very satisified.

They do a very good job. I had a problem with carpenter ants back in 1998 and they took care of it. I was going to be away from my home for quite a while and so I signed up for monthly treatment since I did not want to come home and find my home eaten up by ants. They did a good job and I had a good contract with them. The prices got locked in since I have continued with them for so long even though newer contracts were more expensive. I have had different technicians come in over the years and I have been more pleased with some than the others. There was one that I really liked but he fell ill about two years ago and had to leave. I don't like the one working now as well but that does not mean that he is not a good worker. It is just that he does not interact with me as well as the other. It is not bad and I would not say anything negative about him. I had found out that the previous worker knew some of my relatives and so we had more things to talk about while he was working. I think that the company has been excellent to work with. I have been pleased with their quality. They have come right out when I called them in the past and they have taken care of the problem by doing an extra spray or whatever without any additional charge. I would recommend them.

I had several bad experiences with Terminix. For example, they failed to close our gates, even after I made sure to remind them. Therefore, my dogs were left at risk for being let out. Also, we had an inside trap, and they were to notify us before coming to check it. However, they never did call beforehand; technicians would simply show up unannounced. There was also an incident where a technician falsified that he had been to our home. I had been home all day, and knew he hadn’t. I feel that Terminix didn’t handle the situation well. The final straw was when they sent me both an email and postcard reminding me off an appointment and asking me to be home at a certain time. The day of that appointment came and went with nobody coming by. When I called the office about this, they seemed very disoriented and unorganized. I do have to say their customer service department was always very helpful and nice over the phone.

Their reputation was one of the reasons that we used them. They do the spray rather than the traps that you can put around, which seems to be more effective. They also do follow up inspections for us. The people that came out were very professional and seemed to know their stuff. We were very pleased with their services.

They've been coming to my house for the last 19 years. I pay $38.52 each month. They do a good job. They are clean. They come every month on time. I would continue to use them in the future.

I've never used it before so I don't know what to expect. They seemed pretty professional when they came out. They explained what the options were they went out and did it.

I don't remember the amount that I paid them. It's a yearly payment. My husband likes the guy who comes in and he thinks that the guy would be paid less if I cancel the contract so I keep using him. They do a nice quick job. They are willing to come beyond the scheduled time if I am flying insects or something. Their professionalism and customer service is good. They have changed their scheduling system and it's now unpredictable. It's just started this month. They used to come every month within a certain window of time, but now it would be unpredictable. This is a great downside. I think anybody who has to have a schedule as a key thing would find it extremely bothered. Up until this month my experience has been really good.

I have a few ongoing contracts with them of which one is for termite protection and the other one is for pest control. They come in quarterly to perform the services. I have been using their services for the past five years. They do a very good job and their price is reasonable. They keep up on everything. I don't have to track them for making appointments as they do everything. I would recommend them as they were able to take care of a termite problem for me, which the other exterminator hadn't been able to. They are very professional and do a good job.

Terminix was very good. They were efficient, thorough, and really good workers. I would recommend the efficiency, cost, and the follow up & guarantee that comes with it.

Terminix does a high quality job, and we've never had a bug problem. It does rub me the wrong way however when they raise their rates in a recession.

We arrived home from vacation to find our basement and garage floors FILLED with thousands of tiny "springtails" that enter through the drains. Horrors! Terminix was immediately responsive - VERY professional and helpful - sprayed the two areas; no more sign of the critters! I contracted for a quarterly checkup for 1 year, thereby the higher price.

I had no problem with Terminix's service, only their cost. When I say no problem with their service, I should point out that we would find an occasional bug inside the house - this could have been due to many things, so I don't think that the service Terminix provided was at fault. But the cost of each quarterly treatment had crept up over several years from $90 or so, to the point now where each treatment, including taxes, is $120. When I saw an ad for pest control from Kapp's, who performs lawn treatments for me already, I decided to make a switch and give Kapp's pest treatment a try. Each treatment from Kapp's costs only $26-27, including tax. Kapp's is so inexpensive that I signed up for 6 treatments per year from them, versus the four I received annually from Terminix. From the descriptions on the invoices left by Terminix in the past, and Kapp's now, I can see that Kapp's is not using the same chemicals that Terminix used. Perhaps that will result in finding more bugs inside the house, requiring further investigation of a pest controller, but for now, I'm willing to take that chance for the cost savings.

Signed up for a year of 'unlimited' pest control via on line submission. Was contacted by the local office within a couple days to confirm my appointment. At the appointed date/time, two Terminix employees arrived and inspected the premises, went over paperwork and applied the first of 4 scheduled treatments (however I can call for additional treatments at any time). Could not have been any more painless. I did not price match much but I expect this a bit of a 'premium' priced service as compared to other smaller organizations.

Was pleasantly surprised. No pessure was applied to sell. Information was valuable to me at this time. I would definetly consider this company if the need arises..
