Nick worked with me for a few weeks, until I was ready to have the work done. He was very patient, and never failed to respond to my questions and hesitations. The work was done efficiently and well.

Exceptionally good experience with Nicholas Electric Co. * Intial call returned within an hour, I requested work appointment in a few days. * In 1 day the crew was being sent to our home. * 3 professional workers arrived at our home, one to work in the attic, one to work on the first floor, and one to retrieve from their van the necessary equipment and materials. * They came with drop cloths to protect ceramic and carpet floors. * The workers were very efficient and were done in an hour. * Extremely polite, and cleaned up all of the work area. * A week later I called the office again to discuss a larger work request. I was reassured someone would be sent to our home in a few days.

I have used them 2 or 3 times over the last few years and they did some rewiring, installed electrical boxes in my apartment complex and also installed new circuit breakers. They came in and did the work and you could not even tell they were there. They were great and prompt and even gave me a good price. My parents and friends use them as well.

We liked everything about them. They were prompt. They were well priced. We?ve used them several times. They?ve come on time. They?ve always done what they said they would do. They?ve never overcharged us. They did a big job for us when they did the rewiring for our 80 year old house. When they were done, it was like they were never there. They made the smallest openings possible, didn?t touch anything or ruin anything. We don?t know how they did it. It is really amazing. They are very good.

Kelly, I just got word from Thomas today that he was going to use someone else, that is fine. All I want to know is why did Jackie walk me around the entire home and request all the work that she did as well as say that she was going to pay for the kitchen work, this simply was a waste of my time and I did not appreciate that. I?m sure that if the situation was reversed you would not either. I can see why THE OTHER ELECTRICIAN did not go back to finish his work. I guess there are two sides to every story. Our street electric line got knocked down from Ike 2 months ago. Nicholas sent a crew over immediately and got the necessary paperwork going. From getting a permit number, to the paperwork to work on the line, getting the line rehooked and then getting an inspector from the city to OK the line for Duquesne Light, to then come and hook up our line with Duq. Light. They were speedy and excellent to work with.

Nick scheduled our estimate very promptly and impressed us with his knowledge and attention to detail. If we were actually doing the work, we would certainly use this company and we have passed his estimate to the buyers and recommended him highly.

I would recommend them to anyone. I would give them A+s if I could. He also came highly referred from people in my neighborhood. They were pleasant and professional. They answered my questions and did not use "scare tactics" to try to get me to do more work than necessary.

This was a large job and they made sure I was happy with everything they did. They worked quickly and dealt with the inspector all the way through the project. He was friendly and professional from start to finish.

The folks from Nicholas Electric, a team of two electricians, were at my house on a prompt schedule, five days a week for a solid three weeks. They were pleasant and very considerate of the fact we were living in the house while all this was going on. They cleaned up beautifully each day before they left. I had been referred to them by a neighbor and will continue to spread the word about these conscientious, thorough electricians. Their cost, during the off season, in February, was also amazingly reasonable.

I was in the process of buying a house and I needed an estimate for a Corrective Action Proposal. I had the appointment scheduled and called back to see if I would get the estimate the same day. Nicholas asked me what we would be doing and I told him there were only a few small issues, mainly in the breaker box. He asked me if that was it, that he didn't want to send himself or any of his guys out because the job was so small and this was their busy time. Sorry to say that this left a bad taste in my mouth, there shouldn't be any job that is too small.

They're great. They do everything absolutely by the book; no corners are cut. Strictly up to code; inspectors love them. Their wiring not only works, it's a pleasure to look at.

OVERALL, I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. I LIVE IN A VERY LARGE HOUSE THAT NEEDS 2 GROUNDS. THE FUSE BOX IS ENORMOUS AND I GOT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I THINK THEY'RE THE ONLY ELECTRIC COMPANY I WOULD USE IN PITTSBURGH. THEY ONLY MADE ONE MISTAKE, CRACKING SOME GLASS, BUT GRACIOUSLY OFFERED TO REIMBURSE ME FOR IT.
