It very good. Good price. On schedule. Very clean.

It was an issue with dryer and not electric but for making a house call only cost was $135.00. Way too pricey. Doubtful if I would use again.

This was an awesome experience. The holes in the plaster were fewer and smaller than my expectations, the crew was super professional and pleasant to deal with. The work was complete within two weeks. I had to give them keys to the house, which worked out just fine. They cleaned up each night and made sure everything was functional. This was a super great experience and I'm extremely happy with the results.

I'll call them again. My main thing with them was that they're local. They're in my neighborhood. They cost less that way.

The estimate was a bit vague and clarifications were only offered verbally. That and the price were troubling enough, but we decided to proceed anyway. The crew that performed the work were professional and thorough, and to the extent we able able to verify what was done, the new wiring has performed without flaw. Numerous cutouts in the existing walls resulted (in one case, three cutouts near a single switch panel) despite promises to avoid this where possible. The crew was punctual and did a reasonable job cleaning up after themselves. However the scope of work... paid in full... was never completed. The company was unable to identify a licensed inspector for this location, and even after we provided the name of an inspector that we used only a year before, Nicholas Electric never arranged for the final inspection. Also one of the items actually identified on the scope of work was never done (front door outlet). Five months and several messages later, our calls/emails are not being returned.

Two electricians arrived on time...worked efficiently, having been told what the issue was they brought the necessary material/parts with them. They were friendly and organized.

We recently purchased an older home and were concerned that it may need rewired. I reached out to Nicholas on their website and they got back to me almost immediately. John came out to do the estimate within a week and explained that we didn't really need a full rewire and gave us some more cost effective options, as well as did a full walk through of the house to ask if there was anything else we wanted. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He sent the quote within 2 days. The guys who came to do the work, led by Steve, did an EXCELLENT job. They made it through my entire laundry list a full day sooner than quoted. They were extremely easy to work with and communicated everything to me clearly. I would definitely use them again.

Nicholas Electric came in a rewired all three units of the triplex I purchased. They were very prompt, obtained all the necessary permits and arranged the final inspection. Overall, they were prompt and efficient, and completed all the work within the quoted amount, completing a couple of additional jobs for nominal adds as I realized I needed them. Pretty much the best no drama contractor you can ask for given the complexity of the work. I would hire them again and again for any electrical work I need done. Even the inspector said he was always impressed with their quality and completeness. Very happy.

It went fabulously! It is always a pleasure to work with Nicholas Electric - they are on-time, clean up after themselves, and work diligently to finish the job. I have used them in the past (for some knob and tube replacement) and will use them for all of my electrical needs in the future.

John was great. All services were done quickly and for a reasonable price. No mess was left behind. And he's a very personable guy. We plan to use Nicholas Electric again for any future electrical needs.

Provided free estimate, arrived on time and delivered it within 24 hours. Met our short deadline for beginning the work. Electricians arrived on time each day and provided us with an excellent overview of the work to be done and what part of the house would be used that day. They were extremely pleasant and made sure the work area was returned to the original condition at the end of each day. Completed the work on time as discussed in the estimate. I would highly recommend this company.

They were very prompt at returning my call for service. They always communicated about what time they would be arriving. The morning of the scheduled work they only ran about 10 minutes late, but called to let me know. They arrived and the young man was very friendly that came to the door. He politely introduced himself and I showed him what we needed done. I was very pleased at how professionaly they were and how quickly they got the work accomplished. They cleaned up after themselves and had the job done in a little over 2 hours. I was pleased with the work and hope to use them for any future electrical repairs.

We had another electrician attempt to fix this without success...Nicholas diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly...

As with last time, Nicholas Electric was AWESOME to work with! I called on Sunday, April 29 and left a message with their 24 hour service (it was not an emergency) regarding the partial home power outages I was having. On Monday, John called me back and scheduled an appointment with me for Friday, May 1. As with the last time we used Nicholas, John was a few minutes early and after describing to him the issue we were having (And writing down for him the breakers being affected), John went to work and was able to duplicate the problem that I had begun to AGAIN think was in my mind (part of my home losing power). Once done, and after relaying information that I has seen the Electric Company working on the 30th right up the road, he determined it was a Phase issue. However, John went above and beyond and still checked other internal and external connections just to make sure that there wasn't a different issue. Not too many companies today do MORE after identifying the problem just to make sure there is nothing else wrong and pointed out something that will need to be replaced in the future - no time soon. Again, we will NEVER hesitate to recommend or use Nicholas Electric and we are so glad that we found them!

I was very pleased with them. They came out quickly and got the estimate to me quickly so that by time the insurance company came out, everything went smoothly. They were very punctual and professional.

We were able to get a quote very promptly. They sent two person down to work on the place for about 3 weeks. The electricians were highly professional and communicative throughout the whole process. They left the house in a wonderful state. We would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Nicholas Electric was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to deal with! Having had a "mystery" issue in my home in later November, 2014, when certain rooms in my house were flickering and losing power, I was able to figure out that the problem was our dining room fixture (not ghosts which I was starting to suspect!), which was original to the house. Being that it was not an emergency, we removed all of the bulbs from the fixture and did not use the light. I contacted several different electrical contractors, and being near the BIG holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, every place I contacted told me that since it was not an emergency, they could not even provide an estimate until mid-January to February, 2015. Then, I called Nicholas Electric. The woman/scheduler that I spoke to took my information promptly and courteously and told me that someone would call me back within a day. Within 2 hours, I received a call back from John. I explained the situation and stated that it was not an emergency. He explained everything to me right over the phone ahead of time - the labor cost and what we would need to purchase (fixtures). We set up a time to come out and give us an estimate. My husband and I decided that we would have more than just the dining room light completed (listed above) and went and purchased the fixtures before the estimate date so that Nicholas could see ahead of time what we were going to have installed (nothing "fancy" or complex). On the scheduled date of the estimate, John arrived ahead of time (a PLUS in my book!) and we did a walk through and I showed him each and every thing we would need done and the fixtures. We talked about what would be needed and he thoroughly explained that being the house still had the original wiring (my family built the home), what could POSSIBLY need done once the work began in regards to the "boxes" in the walls/ceiling and that he would include it in the estimate if it would need to be done. He assured me that I would have the estimate via e-mail with a few days. I had the estimate that evening and my husband and I agreed immediately to have the work done. John was very honest when I called him to accept the estimate that they could not guarantee it would be done before the holidays, and I said that was perfectly fine because it was not an emergency (we are very understanding with any business that is upfront with us, and again, it was not an emergency). I believe it was on December 31 that John called us and said that they could complete the job on January 2 (compared to the few places I called that stated they could not even give us an estimate until mid-January, this was VERY pleasing!). On January 2, the 2 gentlemen (Steve and I believe Ryan) showed up 5 minutes before the scheduled time and were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were thorough, worked extremely well together, were greatly professional and very friendly. They went through and did each and every replacement as quoted, and explained a few things to me that they came across (such as the one of the outlets they were replacing having been built in to the duct work and that in the future, we might want to move it, as there was a build up of dust inside). The also showed me the culprit dining room fixture's sockets, where the wiring was basically rotted away (I had been correct on what was causing the flickering) and the dangers or that. They were very thorough, down to asking me exactly how far down the dining room light was to be extended, instead of just assuming, and even asking what timing I would like on the flood light and how I would like the bulbs aimed! They completed all of the replacements in approx. 3-4 hours and once completed, did a complete walk through with me and showed me exactly what they did, even explaining that the GFCI outlets would feel different due to the fact that they are tamper-resistant. None of the wiring/boxes had to be replaced, nor did they try to tell me it did (there is nothing I despise more than a company trying to do work that does not need done!) When they left, I could not even tell they had been there! I would not and will not hesitate to use them again, as we plan on having more work done in the future, and would recommend them to anyone who wants a very professional experience, extremely fair pricing and a great staff!!!!!! You do get what you pay for and our experience with Nicholas Electric and the quality of their work was an absolute bargain! It was more than we could have hoped for and we are highly satisfied!

They called right away, were flexible with the schedule and arrived on time. They left the area clean. I would tell friends and family to make clear what they want done. They didn't solve the problem with the light fixture.

Very professional, great attention-to-detail, friendly, didn't waste time - got a lot accomplished. Worked very carefully in order not to damage anything in the house near where the work was being done.

Great work. Two electricians showed up and worked together. Everything went smoothly until the faulty outlet was looked at. Things weren't what they should have been, but the guys worked at it until they figured it out and took great responsibility to fix things right to protect me and my family. The fan hanging involved cutting into the ceilings, but they left no mess. They tested everything before leaving, and then were thorough about showing me all their work. Price seemed a little high for a job that didn't take all day, but was in line with other estimates I received.

This is the second time I've used these guys, and both times have been very very pleased with their work. John is on time, very professional, and the work is very good quality.
