I contact R&J solely based on the "A" rating from Angieslist. I was contacted back by Ryan the following day and set up an estimate for 11:00am the following Saturday. Well 11:00am came and went and no one showed. Finally at 12:00pm I contacted the office and left a message. I recieved a return call about 10 minutes later and advised that there was a tree emergency and we would have to reschedule. I offered a broad range of time and was informed that I would recieve a call early in the week to reschedule. Its now the following Thursday and I have not yet recieved, nor am I anticipating, a call. I wouldnt use this company if their services were free. The lack of consideration for other's time, and responsiveness is unnacceptable.

They were really great and I was extremely satisfied with their service. The yard looked fantastic and it still looks fantastic. They were very polite and worked very hard. I would definitely use them again.

We were very happy with Ryan's work. We had high expectations from the positive reviews on Angie's list. Ryan was punctual and he and his colleague were thorough and efficient, completing our 1/4 acre lot work within a half day. Work included several overgrown bushes that needed trimming, weeding, prepping flower beds for mulching, and mulching of all beds. We also asked Ryan to cut out a new section of flower bed to connect to two other existing beds, and he gave us a great price. We were very happy with the finished product and would not hesitate to refer R&J's landscaping services to others in the area. We hope to use R&J in the future for our landscaping needs.

We had a very old Cedar Tree in the front yard. It was very tall and unbeknownst to us, rotten. The tree snapped in half and needed to be taken down. I called Ryan and he came out within a week and took the tree down, hauled away the wood, ground the stump, filled the hole with top soil all on short notice. I couldn't be happier with R&J Landscaping.

They were on time. They were competitively priced. I would recommend them to do work but you do have to stay on top of them.

So pleased - they did an impeccable job. I will definitely have them again for seasonal clean up of property.

Once we decided to go with this company, they were on-site quickly. There was a problem with the order for the gates, so they had to come back to finish the job a couple of days later. The fence looks great!

They were great. The only reason that did not go with them because of the is fence design. Another company gave a lower bid, but this company was on time and professional.

Excellent, reliable grasscutting and trimming

He got back the same day I called and came out immediately. He stated he wasn?t sure he could do it, but if he could it would have to wait 2 weeks. When I stated that it really needed to be taken care of, he called someone he knew who was in the tree service business who was able to come out that night, look at it and come out the next day to remove the limb. He didn?t have to do this at all and I was impressed with his initiative. If I ever had any landscaping issues, I would defiantly call them!

They did good job for me. I have recommended them to neighbors.

I had two trees taken down by another tree service. I had been trying to find someone to haul away the wood that was left. R&J responded to my call, gave me an estimate, and hauled away the wood in the space of 3 days. I am very happy with the service provided.

Job was performed well and clean up was excellent.

The experience was wonderful. They came and saw the project, provided an estimate, and were back within a week to complete the project. The entire project was completed in 2 days and looks great. The are also doing the lawn care this summer, and doing a great job.

They tried to save me money on fill dirt and did a good job with what they had. I wish I have had them use more top soil because it needs to be graded for better water drainage.

The yard was a mess because of all of the winter weather and snow. There were lots of branches and leaves to be cleaned out. Ryan and his team did a great job in transforming the yard to look beautiful.

Overall I am delighted. I didn't get an opportunity to meet the rest of his crew but he is a hardworking guy that did a good job.

The team showed up promptly and did an excellent job at cleaning off the yard, blowing out the flower beds and removing all of the debris that accumulated over the winter. It was a very hard winter, but you would never know it after they arrived. I would definitely use this company again.

They were very professional. They are hard workers. It took him longer to do the job than he thought it was going to take, but he still held to the estimate. He is very fair and did a great job.

Ryan did the work when he told he me would and did not deviate one cent from his estimate. When I got home I almost didn't recognize my own house. I don't think he left a single leaf behind--he even removed the leaves from my porches and my garden patches (inbetween plants). It was a spectacular job, I couldn't be happier.

Based on the excellent reports on Angie's List, I called R&J Landscaping to schedule an estimate to do some regrading around my house to prevent water from getting into my basement. The administrative assistant had him call me later that afternoon and he came by either later that day or the next (I can't remember). I showed him my basement, the property, and some drawings we had created to show how we wanted the backyard to be regraded and for retaining walls to be added. He said he would take some measurements and have an estimate back to me the next day. It's been 2 weeks. I called yesterday for an explanation, and the administrative assistant said she would contact Ryan, find out what was going on, and that she would have him get back to me right away. He has not. This is completely unprofessional; even if they are back-logged a brief call to let me know the estimate (and work) would be delayed would have been appropriate.

Ryan was great. He was very responsive and gave us a quote right away. He started the work days after we decided to go with him. He and his co-worker showed up on time every day and the work was completed in 2 days. He did a great job and it looks great and he was on budget.

Ryan has done this work before and I have submitted a report in the past with pictures. Once again, we were very pleased with his professionalism, responsiveness and quality of the work.

everything went well...our biggest complaint was the lead times (2-3 weeks), but i'm sure this simply reflects their popularity given the good reviews on Angie's List...we plan on hiring them again for all of the things we can't or won't do ourselves
