Description of Work: They changed the entire roof. They were on time and cleaned up after they left. The only downside was that their trash container was smack in the middle of our parking lot for the entire weekend and we had to park the cars on the road. But overall, great quality of work!

Description of Work: I bought the $99 Gutter Cleaning and Tune-Up. My gutter still leaked after the tune-up. They said they would contact me and come back out to fix the gutter, but never did.

Description of Work: Replaced pieces of wood siding where animals and birds had made holes. Looks very good. Put aluminum capping over door that is subject to wood rot.

Description of Work: They replaced a section of roof gutter that was torn down by a fallen tree branch. |They contacted me, I e-mailed them a photo of the problem, they set up the date to come out and did an excellent job of installation. Were very polite and professional.

Description of Work: I bought a Gomez deal to clean gutters and do minor fixes through Angie's List late last fall. I had very little gutter debris (no close trees), but they did clean out what was there. They also fixed a collar around one of the roof pipes (additional $60 charge). The main reason I took the deal was that there were a number of loose nails in the gutter which they pounded back in. However, the first heavy rain after their visit, I found several places where the rain was leaking down behind the gutters which had not previously happened. I called Mr. Gomez and he readily agreed to have someone check it out. Unfortunately, due to heavy snow and later rain conditions we had to wait until May to followup. Their man added some new brackets and caulk but said he found a hole in the gutter (not previously mentioned) where the worst leak was occurring so his fixes are not guaranteed to last.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $99.00 for gutter cleaning. Ivan (the owner) came out to look at what needed to be done. At the same time, we had him inspect our garage roof which is in need of replacement and signed a contract with him to have that work done. That was in late April and we do not have a date for the roof installation yet. All of the rainy weather has set the schedule back. I will probably not use the coupon for the gutters with Gomez since ours are stainless steel and apparently harder to repair for leaks. I may ask Ivan to apply the coupon to our roof cost to bring it down the extra $99.

Description of Work: I purchased a "Big Deal" for Gomez Contracting. The deal was for a certain number of hours of wood rot restoration. I knew we had a lot of work to be done so thought this would be perfect for us. Gomez came out to do an estimate and scheduled a date to come back and replace our front porch railing. A few days later a worker came out and did the work. Took him a few hours to replace a post and a few pieces of the railing. I requested that they do some additional work, not included in the Big Deal that I purchased. The worker at my house was on the phone with the owner discussing the work I wanted done. I was told to expect a call back to discuss details of the additional work but never heard back from anyone. Overall they completed the job in a timely manner for a decent price.

Description of Work: Ivan pointed out wood rot to far gone and suggested either siding or complete replacement. While he was there I inquired about installing replacement shutters which I had obtained with waranty claim. He did a great job and I'm planning to have him do other work including installing front door.

Description of Work: When Mr. Gomez did an examination of the gutters of my home, there was need for considerable more work than I had originally purchased - as I had known there would be. He spent time going over the house's existing gutter system, and discussed what would be needed. I requested that he match existing paint colors, and his worker painted the gutters with paint I purchased. The work was done well and quickly. I have since employed Mr. Gomez' crew to repair an area of the home's roof, which was also done with speed and skill. I'm very happy with the effort that he and his crew make to work with me, and provide what my home needs.

Could not afford that expense at his time. | |This seems to be a pattern with Angie List providers. I have not had one project come within the cost of the deal, even when scope of project is within the description.

Description of Work: Gomez Contracting removed my 15-year-old roof and found that the underlying plywood was rotten throughout. Because a storm was expected on Friday night, they finished building the entire roof in one day. The results are spectacular! Gomez Roofing deserves the highest praise for exceptional work! The men arrived at 7:15 a.m. and worked until after dark. They encountered a very different situation than expected. Underneath the shingles, the plywood had rotted, and the chimney was crumbling. One entire layer of roofing material was missing. Mr. Gomez went immediately to the supplier and got the necessary plywood for the job. Each man on the crew knew exactly what he was to do, and they moved as a team at amazing speed, finishing the job well ahead of the thunderstorm that arrived that night. I am delighted with the result and feel that I have found my contractor for all future work. I felt that the price was exceedingly reasonable.
