Excellent! If you are looking for an honest, reliable, courteous company to repair or install a new heating or air conditioning system, then run....don't walk to this company! I have researched numerous companies attempting the sell up routine or playing on your ignorance when it comes to heating and air conditioning equipment and repairs. You will deal with the owner, Tal, who I found to be one of the most honest person I have met in this industry. He will tell you exactly what you need and provide you with a fair and honest price. He and his crew are professional, courteous, clean and will make your worries regarding your home equipment a thing of the past. I am critical of most jobs performed at my home and expect the best. In this case, I got it and more!

A PECO power outage on a very hot evening caused my heating and air conditioning units to burn out. I noticed the air conditioner wasn't working in the early morning the next day. Blue Bell Heating & A/C came out that afternoon and spent two hours checking out both the inside and outside units and attempting to get them to work. As this wasn't successful, they quoted me an installed price for new units. I explained that my wife was going through chemotherapy and being without air conditioning was extremely difficult. Blue Bell was able to rearrange their work schedule to have their people install the units the next day. They arrived before 9AM and completed the job professionally and without even taking a break. The company also made me aware of available energy rebates that saved me additional money.

Overall it went well but when he told me it would cost about $120 to fix I felt I had no choice since I was already invested for $89. It ended up taking less than 15 minutes to fix which made me think that the $120 price was excessive. As a customer I think they should have qouted me a lower price by taking into consideration the $89 initial investment and how quick and simple it was to correct the problem . Bottom line is that they were punctual, up front and professional but way to high, in my opinion for the work performed. But then again, I don't know what someone else would have charged. Possibly more or less. I know if they would have been more reasonable, they probably would have gained a new customer.

I had used another company the week prior to re-fill my refrigerant, but I felt that the cost was too high. After searching on Angie's List, I found Blue Bell Heating & Air Conditioning. The tech (Chris) showed up early, and was honest, informative and thorough. And the price through Blue Bell was less than half the amount quoted by the other company. I would definitely use this company again.

Called Blue Bell and their tech showed up in an hour. The tech was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and clearly explained the my options and the risks with each option. One option was an expensive repair and another involved bypassing the defective part. The choices and possible outcomes were clearly explained. To top it off, because the tech serviced my system for an unrelated issue one month prior, the did not charge me for the visit. A nice surprise! I rate Blue Bell a "10" and would definitely recommend Blue Bell Heating & AC to others.

Great response time, courteous technician who was honest and didn't try to sell me services I did not need.

My husband and I got several quotes to replace our furnace/hot water heater. Blue Bell wasn't the cheapest, but seemed to offer the best quality. I was impressed that they showed up on time and there was excellent communication from their office staff. The work was done on time and at the quote price.

The cleaning went smoothly and was easy to schedule. The office staff was courteous and called ahead of the visit. The technician was professional and thorough. I was a little disappointed that after the cleaning you could smell traces of oil and a part of the exhaust pipe fell out a couple of weeks later - but I did not call back for followup so I can't gripe about it. Two months later I came from a trip to discover a 40 degree house. The boiler would not start. I called at 11 pm on Jan 1, and had a tech call back 15 minutes later. The visit was scheduled for next morning (it sounded like they would have come right away too). The technician spent about an hour diagnosing the problem. It turned out the pump was bad but he could not find any of the local suppliers with the right part. At that point, one option was to replace an additional component at a higher cost, but the tech was very honest about it and offered me an opportunity to find the part elsewhere. When I found it from a distributor some distance away, he went out of the way to pick up the part and install it. In the end, he spent 3-4 hours getting the problem fixed and I was changed for the parts and labor on the pump and the diagnostic fee. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience because I got the heat on the same day and because the pricing was fair. The tech also explained everything that he was doing and helped me learn a good deal about my equipment. I would definitely go back to the company.

I received estimates for a new system from 5 different companies, and only two of the companies, including this one, recommended a heat pump system for my space, considering the type of space and my interest in "going green" on a budget. The owner did the estimate and he understands heating systems; they don't just install one kind of system. (In this case the obvious and common choice would be gas). They were courteous, prompt, punctual, and pleasant to deal with. They worked unsupervised in my home while I was at work for several days. They were working in a finished space, which can create a lot of headaches for this kind of installation, but every day I came home they had left the place so clean it was as though no one had been there. The system was not initially well-balanced in heat distribution, and the owner came out within a few short weeks and straightened the problem out with ballasts in the vents. I could have gotten a more finely tuned system with the ductwork more accurately sized for the rooms with an engineered analysis of the space, and more ductwork laid out to support the dual heat and AC functions, but the estimates for this level of work were about double what I paid. I have a solid system at a budget price, which is appropriate for my needs.

It was fine. It seemed expensive to me but I have no comparison.

Blue Bell responded to the initial inquiry very quickly and provided a quote on a timely manner. They were thorough with the quote and provided a very fair price. The installation team came as scheduled and worked quickly and neatly. They installed the duct work and central air in the main part of a 55 year old home. They also installed a LG Art Cool mini-split in the addition which both heats and cools a small 3 room addition. We have no used the central air yet, as it was installed in the fall, however the LG Art Cool is working well. We had a great experience with the company and installation and highly recommend them.

In the 5 years that we have lived in the house, we have had difficulty managing our heat. This company, after having 3 others evaluate it, did give us the best resolution. They recommended the "ideal" solution and then the more practical, economical solution which was to move the thermostat. They came 1 time to evaluate the situation and then another to provide the service. Both times, they were punctual and very professional. My only disappointment was dealing with their office staff. In my initial phone call, it took a lot of explaining to get them to understand my needs. When they came out to provide the service, the serviceman indicated that he didn't really know what he was there to specifically do so again I needed to explain our situation. Lastly, when I called to inquire about the Angie's List coupon, the office staff was difficult. Unfortunately, since we have had other HVAC companies come out to try to resolve this, I have had the experience that most of the office staff I have dealt with are not very friendly or helpful so this is something I have accepted. We will use them again but probably not if we get a better recommendation from someone else.

It went great. They were fantastic. They let us know when there was a special on. There was one problem which they came out and fixed right away. It was a first class operation.

My initial call to the company was answered promptly, professionally, and warmly by Tina. After asking me questions, she told me that she would consult with the owner concerning pricing, and would get back to me no later than the following day. She called me the next morning, and at that time we set up a timely appointment. David showed up on schedule, was warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, and patiently answered my questions. When he demonstrated how to replace the filter and I told him I would probably forget how (the arrows go a certain direction) he quickly pulled out a special pen and wrote the instructions on the unit. One of the tasks I wanted him to do was install elbows and exhaust piping high up on an exterior wall (I hadn't informed the company of this when I called in). As the ladder he brought wasn't long enough, he said he could either go back to his company and bring a ladder right away, or reschedule for Friday. I said that right away would be fine. He returned with the ladder and an assistant. Together they handled this task, and then finished with the cleaning of the units. All was done neatly, with consideration of our freshly painted walls. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

Very responsive when a quote was requested. Visited within two days. Very quickly was able to assess the complexity of routing line set and power through the exterior house wall and into the basement. Offered several options with some discussion of pros/cons and experience installing each. We decided to go with the ductless split system after considering some of Tal's inputs versus what the sunroom installers recommended. Job was scheduled within a week of accepting the quote. Guys showed up on time and got right to work. Had to cut into exterior wall/sheathing and drywall, but did in a way that was easily patched. Job was done within 15 minutes of the estimated time - although they did not add the final coat of mud to the drywall patch that they indicated they would and they asked me for some tools they didn't bring with them in order to setup the condenser unit I had ordered. Clean up was swift and well done. Overall, a very positive experience. Tal is a very genuine guy and his crew had a lot of experience.

We called Blue Bell after having had bad experiences in the past with other A/C companies. They responded immediately to our call and sent someone out the very next day. The repair has been working beautifully. We are very happy with their service and will certainly use them in the future. We have already recommended them to friends who also had a great experience with them.

It was very positive. I liked that their customer service was good. They were on time when they came out to look at the problem. They were not able to observe the problem because it did not do it when they were here. They did however offer to come back out if it happened again, they said to just call them.

They were on time even a little early. They took their time and then he charged a reasonable amount. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

Our experience with Tal and Blue Bell Heating has been wonderful. Tal knows a lot about older systems and is also very knowledgeable about newer heating and air conditioning systems (we will eventually have to replace our old furnace and may put in air conditioning). Both my husband and I feel that Blue Bell Heating and Air conditioning will be able to help us live with our old furnace until it can be replaced. We will also probably use them to replace our system and also get estimates for air conditioning. Tal responded immediately and came out to the house several times and was always pleasant. We are so grateful we found this company on Angie's List.

The installer Mark was about 90 minutes late for the install appointment. I don't blame him for this since it turns out his truck broke down about a mile from my residence. He had the old unit out in about an hour, and was accommodating to me with several things I wanted to perform while the old furnace was out of the way. He seemed to perform a competent service of installing the unit, and the manager Joe was out to the property twice to inspect the progress and assist with issues. I stayed out of his way most of the day to allow him to work, checking about once every other hour or so to see the progress. One minor issue after the job is that the furnace was only firing in single stage mode, but Joe the manager was out the next afternoon to check and reset the system.

My air conditioning was not regulated in the house. He didn't do what I wanted because it would take a very long time, but he explained how I could fix it myself. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional.

They did a really good job for a lot less than we anticipated. He was very friendly and knew his business really well.
