The water heater failed in the evening and I called Available at 8:30 that night. Randy called back within 5 minutes and proposed the repairs and gave a quote. He permitted me to add on several services and did not increase the quoted price substantially. Rick showed up the next day (he was actually 15 min early!) and performed all of the services quickly thoroughly. He was courteous and protected the carpets in our home with drop cloths to prevent them getting dirty. I will definitely call Randy and Rick for plumbing needs in the future.

I called during a snow storm. Two or three hours later Anna Maria called me back to ask for details of my problem. She was very nice. She said that she could have Rick come to my home 8 a.m. Rick came promptly at 8 a.m., as scheduled. Before doing the sink repair, he answered some questions that we had concerning other plumbing around the house. Everything went very well and, so far, there is no hint of water leaking from any of the many pipe joints. Over the next few days, I will monitor the area under the sink and if any leak does develop, I will let the Angie's community know. Note: I gave the "price" category a B only because I have no one to whom I can compare this plumber. Update: one of the fittings started leaking. The guys came out 2 or 3 more times at no charge. However, the problem was never solved until I called Ray Garvin. Ray fixed the problem and suggested steps that I might consider doing to improve my kitchen sink plumbing even more....I took him up on it. This sink has never drained so fast, ever! Still, no leaks, as well.

The service from Available Plumbing went very well from start to finsih. My initial phone call was handled very professionally. After I gave a brief description of the problem and answered follow up questions I was then given information reagarding hourly rates. I then set up an appointment. I have a tough schedule when It comes to setting up appointments but this was not a problem for Available. Available Plumbing willingly worked around my apointment time preference, 7:00am, on a week day. On the day scheduled Randy arrived 15 minutes early, how great was that! He got right to work and kept me informed of what he was doing and he had my shower working better than ever in about 45 minutes. He promptly put the bathroom back the way he found it, and then took care of the bill. I will definitely use Available Plumbing in the future.

Moments after the faucet on my kitchen sink broke apart I checked Angie's List to find a plumber. Available Plumbing was very highly rated (and now I can understand why) and was located near me. I checked out their website and then called them. My call was promptly answered and I spoke to Annamarie on the phone. I explained the situation to her, and she said she would speak to the plumber, who happened to have a job nearby. She called me back very promptly and told me that Rick, the plumber, would be able to stop by and check out our faucet right away! He showed up soon after, confirmed my suspicion that the faucet could not be repaired and needed to be replaced, and told me what kind of faucet I needed to buy to replace the broken one. I asked if he could get the faucet for me, but he explained that it would cost more (30+ %) and that it would take longer to get it and to have it installed if they did it, but I did have that option. He again reviewed with me what I needed to look for at the store and we planned that I would call the office once I had acquired the new part so they could figure out when he would be able to return to do the work. While I was out getting the new faucet, Rick proactively called our home and asked if he could come by (sooner than expected!) and begin to take out the old faucet. By the time I returned home with the new faucet he was just about finished doing that and the new faucet was installed about 20 minutes later. While he was doing the work he was friendly and dealt very well with my curious toddler and even curiouser dog. I was home with two sick young children when my faucet broke and the stress of repairing it was definitely not what I needed. I am SO happy that I happened to have called Available Plumbing. It was a bit of an inconvenience to have to run out and buy a new faucet myself, but I'm really impressed that Rick helped me save money, rather than telling me they would take care of it, and earn a service fee in the process. I was pretty desperate at the moment and would have gone along with anything he suggested just to get the job done. This was an overwhelmingly positive experience! I can't believe I had a new faucet installed 4 hours after the old one broke, and the price was far less than I had expected it to be. I will recommend this company at every opportunity I have!

Our sump pump started to leak and thus run constantly. So we called Available based on their Angie's List resume to see how quickly they could come out. They were extremely responsive, the gentleman that did the work showed up on time, he was professional, and he was very efficient. It was an excellent experience and I will definitely use them again.

Randy went over and above to get the parts and get them installed on the unit. It took him a lot longer then he expected because the bolts were so rusted out and they don't make the exact parts any more as an adapter unit had to be used. He originally told me that if this didnt work that it was going to cost me a lot more money to get a new water heater installed by his company so being the cynic that I am I was worried that these parts wouldnt work....but they did! I'm so glad that Angie's List was there for me when it came to finding a Plumbing Company that I could trust as Available Plumbing has once again over delivered on another job for me! This is the only company that I will ever use again for any of my plumbing needs!

Job done was excellent! They came on a Saturday to give us a free estimate. That alone was a huge help. They came on time for both the estimate and the job. The plumber had to leave for 30 minutes to get a faucet block for the laundry tub. He said he would be back in 30 minutes and he was back in 30 minutes. All work is neat and tidy. Everything works as we were told it would. Estimate and price were right on. We emailed several times selecting a toilet. They were always responsive to email. We also wanted to use a different toilet then the one they suggested. This was not a problem for them. We also talked with them on the phone. They are extremely nice and you almost always get a person instead of an answering machine. I'll try and submit photos of the work at a later date. I will definitely use them again and may have them re-do my master bathroom.

Available plumbing came on time and completed the service quickly and properly. I would definitely call them again for any future services.

While getting ready for work, I noticed a problem with the drain in the shower. The water was not draining, and the toilet began to bubble and make noise. Next thing I know, the toilet began to over flow. I determined that there must be a clog in the plumbing. I called Available Plumbing and was very please from the moment they answered the phone. Ah yes, a real human not an automated vice telling me to dial this and that. I explained my problem to Annamaria and she promised to call me back with more info, and a time frame. With in 15 minutes she returned the call and I had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon. Randy was right on time! Wow, real customer service! He listened to my description, and then described to me how he was going to take care of the issue. He has a very pleasant demeanor, and quite a work ethic. I felt very comfortable with him in my home, and he was very professional. Less than an hour later he was finished and everything was flowing again.

I called Available Plumbing for an estimate and Randy, one of the owners, came out that Saturday to look over our jobs. The main thing we needed was a very large whirlpool tub removed from our basement. The movers who looked at it were doubtful that it would make it up the stairs, so we needed someone to take apart the platform it was built into, safely disconnect all of the plumbing, and cut the tub apart, then remove all of the mess. Randy gave us an estimate of $450 including all of the disposal fees and we scheduled a time for him to do the work. Randy's wife, Annamaria called to confirm the appointment, and on the day of the appointment one of Randy's employees came out to do the job. He did a very professional job, took his time, traced where the drains were going, capped the drain from the laundry tub, and removed all of the mess. He vacuumed the floor and picked up any scraps. We were very satisfied and will be calling Available Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

This was a strange experience, but the plumber from Available Plumbing was great. He first determined that the water pressure issue was due to some debris in the showerhead, he cleaned it out and that fixed the problem immediately. The leak was more mysterious. He cut holes in the kitchen ceiling drywall to track it down. The strange thing was although the drywall had water damage, there was no water marks on the beams or studs inside the wall. After running the shower, sinks, and toilet we were unable to find any leaks. So we decided to leave the ceiling open for a while to see if we can see the leaking again. Although the plumber didn't find the leak, I was impressed by the way he went about his work. He was extremely neat, spreading plastic in the kitchen and sweeping up every bit of loose drywall, even after I told him it was not important. He took his time and was thorough about checking all the pipes for leaks. While the work ended up being very minor, his work ethic was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to call them back for more work. Lastly, the person in the office who arranged the appointment was pleasant and professional. Great company, gives you faith that there are GOOD service people out there!

Very well. They make the effort to send me a plumber on the same day (while others I had called could not). The person showed up in atimely manner and fixed the problems. He also explained the issues satisfactorily to me.

On a snowy Saturday evening, we discovered that our boiler wasn't providing heat above the basement floor. We called Randy and he came over within an hour. He released air from the system and fed more water into it, and got the heat working again (at least for now!). He's thorough and explains what he's doing. You also get the impression that he's not trying to scam you by doing more work than is necessary. We'll definitely use him again!

I tried installing it myself and managed to flood the kitchen. Randy came out the day after I called, first thing in the morning and had it properly installed along with a new length of drain pipe in about 1/2 hour.

Nicely completed an install of a cast iron bath tub and fixed a deteriorating leaky drain for my vanity faucet. Installation was completed as promised and I'm happy with the results.

Excellent in that he came same day and restored our kitchen sink.

Service was excellent from inital call to resolving the issue. Available was very responsive, service was prompt and effective with regards to resolving the issue. The service person was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make a bad situation as pleasant as possilbe. Would definitely use Available again and it was refreshing to find an honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced plumbing service - Over all rating... Outstanding..

I recently purchased a ventless gas fireplace for my living room. After having 4 plumbers from craigslist no show / no call, I signed up for Angies list. Available plumbing came out on the day they were supposed to, the price was exactly what we had agreed upon, and the service was actually performed faster than I expected. If you're tired of people not showing up on time, or at all, then it's definitely worth giving Available plumbing a call. The plumber that came out was friendly and did exactly what I was hoping for, getting the job done quickly and correctly!

I bought a 50+ year old house that needed many plumbing updates. I saw Randy's great reports on Angie's List and decided to give him a try. He returned my call the same day (even though he was on vacation) and quickly set up a time to come out the following week. It took several days for all the work to be completed. Randy and his men were prompt and professional. They were very knowledgeable and showed me what they were doing and how it all worked. As other plumbing issues became obvious in the course of their work, they were able to quickly deal with them as well. I have called Randy back a couple of times since the initial job to fix a leaky faucet and clear a blocked pipe and he has been able to send someone on the same day. I have been very impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, and plumbing knowledge!

Randy was very responsive. He replied to my e-mail almost instantly, despite that it was a Sunday! He was upfront and direct re: the pricing, and he offered an appointment within the week. Upon arriving, he was friendly but professional, and did not grumble and whine about having to navigate our crawlspace in order to get to the water valve. He clearly explained the costs, explaining that the bottom line was slightly higher because of extra materials he used in the repair. I had no suspicions regarding his integrity.

They had a good response time. I felt like this company was rather professional. I would say that they're quite competent. They seem to really know what they're talking about.

Randy and I conversed at length over the phone. He was not my first choice, but after speaking to him it was clear that he had in depth knowledge, and was willing to do business, and could handle my job. I was the general contractor of my basement project so I managed all 7 different contractors directly. It was key that i found contractors that were responsive, good communicators, punctual, and talented. He was always on time, he informed me what the best approach would be for the other contractors in reference to the bathroom, and executed on his part flawlessly. I told him if I ever contracted out my contracting skills I would definitely call him. The basement turned out wonderfully 1 day before my family left for Disney so all ended well.

Amazing! Randy was incredibly responsive from the first moment we called. He came out very quickly. We called in the afternoon and he was willing to come out the next day. He always showed up on time and was very accurate with the estimate and the amount of time it would take to do the work. He took care of our stuff, laying lots of tarps and moving things as necessary so other things would not get damaged or dirty. His work and knowledge were top-notch. He and the other workers from Available were always nice and polite. They were even nice to our son who had lots of questions. He also was very patient about providing estimates for our insurance company and answered several phone calls when we were trying to match/pick out tile. We were incredibly pleased with our experience.
