They were very good at providing service. I have a rental property up there and I live in Florida so that was tough to do, but they were very accommodating. They did not charge me until they called me. They were in contact with me all the time. So, that was very good. I never met them, but they did everything they were supposed to do. The price was good. It is working so I am guessing it is absolutely fine.

Arrived exactly on time. Was very informative and safety conscious. Explained in detail what he found regarding my stove and what were my options . Was very knowledgeable , pleasant and professional. My stove element was defective and he explained every step to ordering and installing the element. No surprises at a very reasonable cost.

We called for service on a Kenmore refrigerator that was not cooling. They recommended not repairing it because of the cost and age of the refrigerator. Repair man was very nice. Was charged for a basic service call.

The office called me back within a couple of hours and gave me a price of $237.20 + tax and labor for a new control panel to be installed. Approximate total for this work was about $300. This is in addition to the $100 we paid them to come out and diagnose the oven. I didn't want to fool around so I told them to get the part and "let's fix it". This is where things went down hill. The office called me back and said my part was on factory backorder for 4 to 12 weeks! I asked why and they didn't really answer just saying that these things happen. I called back the next day and asked if there was anything they could do by checking other suppliers or rechecking their normal suppliers to see if someone had the part. (Maybe I was being a bit inpatient but Christmas was 2 weeks away and I need my oven to cook.) Alas the girl at the office said they found the part in Illinois and they could have it in a couple of days. Again I said lets do it. Next I get another call from the office and they said my part number had changed and the price of the control panel is now $369 (because the part number changed) and it is still backordered 4 to 12 weeks! WHAT? I don't care if the part number changed, I feel they should have honored the original price they gave me! The office blames the manufacturer and tells me there is nothing they can do. By this point I'm beginning to feel someone is trying to take advantage of me so I start making phone calls to local appliance supply warehouses. Guess what. I found 2 of the (backordered) control panels (brand new factory replacement) in stock right here in the Lehigh Valley!! One was $209.35 + tax and the other was $329 +tax. Now I'm not in the Appliance repair business and I feel Jim Bobal's staff could have done a better job in finding this part for me. These guys have to know local suppliers better than I do. I kept searching online and found the part even cheaper than those listed above as well as a warranty period twice as long as I was promised from Bobal. I got the part in 2 days and installed it myself, programmed it, saved a boat load of money and the only thing I missed out on was Jim Bobals 30 day labor warranty. But that's ok, my labor is warranted for a lifetime! Now our oven is working like new! Because of all of the run arounds, price changing and quite honestly incompetence in finding my part I would not give this company my business again.

Repaired perfectly, work was fast, professional, and I will definitely use this company again, highly recommend them.

The office called to let me know the technician was on his way. He arrived about 15 minutes after the phone call. He was polite and professional. He came in and within a few minutes had identified the problem. There was a metal button caught in my fan. He had the button removed and the dryer back in place in a very short period of time.

Repairman was on time and did excellent job. Would have him back in an instant.

On Christmas Day my oven controls blew out. I called several services and Bobals was one of two Frigidare authorized Service providers. I got an appointment to check the problem for Jan 3. They came, evaluated range and gave us the options. We had them call with price for part and they ordered the part and put they part in on Jan 10. The tech was professional, worked quickly and thoroughly and cleaned up when done. Other than the time it took to get an appointment (but its hard to get repairs in general), I was thrilled with the service and the rice! It's still cheaper than replacing the oven!

Called Bobal 8 am. Dryer was repaired before noon that day. It doesn't get better than that!

My microwave had stopped working several months ago and the manufacturer suggested Bobal. I contacted them and the service tech came out. They knew they were working on a Frigidaire microwave and yet the service tech was not familiar with it and spend and hour or so on the phone with frigidaire which I had to pay for!! Why should I be responsible for their training? It was finally determined a part was needed which they had to order. I was told I would just have to pay for the part when it came in. Finally after many phone calls back and forth (and months!) the repair part was in hand and they could come back and finally fix my microwave. They billed me not only for the part but for his time and "trip charge"!! They said it was because it was more than 30 days since their original visit! I had made several calls that went un-returned!! Totally unacceptable. I could have bought a new microwave rather than pay for their "on the job"training.

drI was extremely happy with this company, which i found here on Angie's List. They were friendly,professional, and able to give me an appointment the next. day. Prompt, great service, happy tp explain the problem, and answer all the questions I had. I would highly recommend them and be happy to use them again.

Company contacted us for appointment time. Service representative arrived on time, professional, efficient, no surprises with service charges. Very pleased with service and repair man Bob. Will definately will call with future problems regarding appliances.

My Kenmore refrigerator door didn't close properly and my LG washer didn't spin out on the normal cycle. I was hoping to only have 1 service call fee when he came but got 1 1/2 fee plus hourly to look at it. That cost $119. Then parts were ordered and he came back a week later when they came in. The parts for the washer were very expensive, $272 for a sensor, rotor and interface board. Altogether for the parts and labor for today for both it was $479.48. Altogether a big chunk of money! The technician did a good job and didn't waste time so that was good. I will probably call them again if i have a problem. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

They are excellent. They are very professional and efficient. They do a great job. I have been using them for several years and have always been satisfied.

ok with Jim Bobal; not good re LG appliances generally

Our fridge stopped getting cold and we called to schedule a service call. Sadly they could not come out for two days. On the day of the repair we received a call 20 min before their arrival. Their worker was very nice and knew what he was doing. He had the problem diagnosed with in 15 min. He gave us a quote for the replacement part and finished up work with in half and hour. He verified that the fridge was working before he left. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

He came immediately and did a great job. He was fairly priced and I will continue to use him in future.

They told me over the phone that they were experienced in fixing my brand of washer. The repairman came out, spent 15 minutes on the job. they could not fix my problem, but they were delighted to take my check for $85.
