This company is a family owned friendly, professional, skilled business. We bought a whole house generac generator from Bob and his employees installed it all in a day. Bob is a great business man who is knowledgeable of the products he sells. He backs up his promises and services. We had a small glitch when we first used the generator through NO FAULT of the generator or R. G. Behers, but a phone call to Bob in the early morning hours and he had his crew out here and the problem solved within an hour. Highly recommend this company.

It was a tricky job. Had to call previous homeowners to discover hidden junction box behind kitchen ceiling. Matt located the problem, quickly and smartly re-routed the wiring to make it up to code, more efficient, safer and, naturally, he got the lights working again in about 4 hours. I phoned them at 6:55 p.m. on a Thursday and Matt was at my door at 8:20 a.m. Friday. Now that's responsiveness! Matt has a great attitude, skill level and even cleaned up afterward. And he was so nice to our 1-year-old. Would absolutely hire again for electrical jobs, especially tough jobs.

Jim was the technician that came out and he checked everything then we retraced my steps and told him about the bedroom so he went to that outlet and that was the issue a black wire came off the plug he fixed it and everything is back on yea !

Can't say enough good things. Was in desperate need to get the dryer connected quickly. I called and they immediately got back to me and came the next day. The work was done effectively and efficiently, especially with the state of the house in the progress of being updated. So kind of a mess to navigate. Friendly service and reasonable. Can't recommend enough. Call them for any electrical needs! We will continue to use them.

I was having problems with my electrical service. I called Mr. Behers on Father's Day in the afternoon. He promptly answered his phone and indicated he would look at the problem. He and his son were at my house within 30 minutes, at no charge. That is pretty amazing. Mr. Behers diagnosed the issue, straight-forward and honest. He indicated he could perform the necessary repairs the next day; it was not possible to do the needed repairs on Sunday. He and his electricians arrived on-time Monday and promptly completed the job. Left the job site clean. A 100% professional experience with Mr. Behers and his employees. He handled all coordination with the electric company and required electrical inspection. Truly the best experience I have had with any contractor. I would highly recommend Mr. Behers for any electrical work. Mr. Behers also answered his phone to answer some follow-up questions I had for him.

The previous week I called to schedule an appointment. It took a few days to get a callback, but that was okay as this was not an urgent job. Matt and Jeff arrived within a 30 minute window that had been arranged by phone the previous day. They assessed the desired laundry electrical hookup, explained all the the work required, and provided a full quote before the work began. The malfunctioning 3 way switch in a previously renovated room was thankfully an easy fix, and it was so exciting to see it working as desired after being told by the original installer that it just wasn't going to work. The job was completed in about two hours. Clean and quality work. The outlets were placed evenly on the wall and the wires up to the ceiling were nicely bracketed down. I was shown the new breakers and a quick demonstration of the GFI. They even moved the dryer to its new position. It was an absolute pleasure to have Matt and Jeff working in my home.

All went well with timely, polite service and reasonable charges.

Bob and his crew installed a new backup generator in one day. They were punctual, efficient, and professional. Our power was out for only a few hours while they performed the installation. Bob also installed a whole house surge protector. A few days after installation of the surge protector, one of our circuits was not functioning properly. He came to our home on a Sunday to determine the problem and fix it. It was found to be a loose wire from a previous contractor. He showed us the problem and fixed it at no additional cost. We would definitely use his services again.

Bob was wonderful. He answered his phone on Christmas Eve (day). He arrived quickly and solved my problem. He was knowledgeable and helpful in teaching me as I had several questions. Highly recommended!

Installation went very smoothly. Great group of guys doing the work. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. BTW, this company is excellent for servicing, too. This is not our first generator; we have used Bob for service for years.

Bob and his crew were wonderful -- they were friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly and answered questions, and told us what we can do in the future to upgrade our electrical system. It took several hours to correct the problem we had and they thoroughly cleaned up afterward. I believe the crew went above and beyond what needed to be done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

Spoke with Bob, the owner, to initially call about scheduling a service call. He said that he'd have one of his team get back with me about scheduling a time to come to my house. That call didn't come so after a day or two I called Bob back. When I spoke to him I had explained that in the couple of days that went by, I had lost my job and he showed great sympathy. He actually helped explain to me how I could try to fix the problem myself and walked me through the steps. When finished, he wished me luck finding a new job. I told him that if my attempt didn't work, Id' surely call him back. Well I was unable to figure it out and his team showed up a day or two later to fix the problem and because I had paid for an hour, I had them look at a couple of other electrical issues while at my home. I would definitely recommend Bob and his team as he was honest, kind, compassionate and understanding. Hard to find these days when many companies will simply look to get your money when an opportunity arises to do so. Thanks Bob!!

Came out bright and early on a Monday after I reported an electrical shortage the prior Friday. Issue promptly corrected.

If you are looking to install a generator on your existing property, no matter the age of the house, look no further. Bob will be able to handle all the installation needs from the electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and cement issues. Ours was a particularly difficult job due to the existing layout of the gas and electrical sources. All challenges were accomplished plus more. You need someone knowledgeable and experienced in this endeavor. It is not a time to cut corners. Choose Bob Behers to handle the installation.

I found RG Behers on Angie's List along with several wonderful reviews, I am happy to add another. I contacted Bob and was scheduled promptly. We met at the house and spent a time discussing options. There was no pressure and Bob is incredibly knowledgable about his trade. The crew arrived, with Bob ,and began on time, they were meticulous in every detail, going above and beyond what I was expecting. It's rare to find a business that still takes this kind of care and pride in what they do. All phases were finished quickly, cleanly, and on budget. What more could you ask for. There was damage to our dryer (caused by subcontractors, not directly by the Behers Electrical crew) related to a whole house generator installed on 1/27/2014 by Behers Electical Services Inc. Bob Beyers responded immediately and offered to repair or replace the dryer, our choice. We chose to have the dryer repaired, and he again responded immediately. In addition to the dryer repair, he installed a badly needed overhead light fixture at no charge for either the fixture of installation. His crew, as usual, were professional and worked quickly and thoroughly during this visit. Bob clearly went above and beyond our expectations with this experiance. Once again, I highly recommend this company for their outstanding service and committment to customer satisfaction!

It went extremely well! This generator was needed for medical reasons, and prompt installation was a neccesity. Bob Behers responded quickly from the first contact through completion of the project, providing information and updates every step of the way. We unexpectedly needed a survery of the property, and Bob found a surveyor at a reasonable cost. The preliminary inside work was also completed promptly. Bob and his crew installed the generator within one very cold single digit temp day! They all were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They worked efficiantly and were obviously knowledgeble with the installation process. After the generator was installed, Bob thoroughly reviewed the neccesary instructions. I recently saw the R.G. Behers ad in the Angie's List magazine, and wanted to send in this review. I didn't realize Bob was on Angie's List, but I shouldn't be surprised as he is a very professional, and extremely knowledgeable man. Bob and his father initially installed my generator on September 8, 2010. It has worked like a dream since that time. I have had no trouble with it, and I keep it maintained based on the schedule that Bob suggested. A yearly oil change and check-up is all that has been needed. I must admit that I tend to be very interested in the operation of mechanical devices, especially one as interesting as this one, and Bob willingly answers all my questions. I highly recommend R.G. Behars Electric. I really can't say enough about their knowledge and professionalism, and their just being so darn nice, too.

Bob Behers arrived as scheduled and performed a thorough check and adjustment of the generator engine and transfer switch. He was knowledgeable and professional. This included changing the engine oil, re-gaping the spark plugs, checking the battery condition and air filter and testing the operation of the transfer switch and generator under load. He left a detailed check list of all tests performed. When I made the appointment, Bob asked for the serial number of the generator so he would know exactly what he was coming to service.

Bob Jr. promptly went to work to perform the required service and diagnostic checks for the generator unit. Unless something drastic happens to their firm, they are thevonly folks that will work on my property. Fuirt class from the git-go.

Bob Behers and his crew provided an efficient and complete installation of our Kohler generator. Bob gave us a quick & detailed price quote, and after downpayment, scheduled an installation date. They arrived on time and finished the job in one day. All contractors involved with the job were polite and professional. We were pleased with everything and felt that they did a great job. First of all, the communication was excellent. Any phone call I made prior to the installment was answered quickly. They were punctual and professional and completed the work without a problem. The electric company, however, caused Bob to have to stay for over 6 hours before coming back to turn on the electricity. Bob stayed at the house until the electricity was restarted and he made sure that everything was working okay before he left. The next day, they came back to finish up work and even labeled all of the circuits on the main box. I would recommend his company to anyone in an instant! This company's professionalism is rare! It was a pleasure dealing with Bob and his workers.

Behers electric service installed my home generator 10-24-07 and has been doing annual maintenance from the beginning. Lost electric power 6/25/13 for 24hrs. The generator started to malfunction about 6am on 6/26/13. I called Behers electric and they were able to come the following morning at 9am for a diagnostic service. The technician arrived at 9am and within a hour found the problem to be higher gas pressure from the gas company line. He restricted the gas flow to the generator and the generator work as designed. The technician recommended that I get installed a permanent gas restrictor-regulator for a permanent fix. I will be doing this. October is my yearly maintenance schedule, since he was here he did a maintenance and tune up service. Job well done.

Bob was very professional, easy to work with and helpful in our conversations. Most of all, he provides an outstanding proposal, with complete details about the installation and associated permits required and a range of options for us to consider about the model of generator. He gave us the information we needed to make a decision, which will unfortunately be delayed to a later date while we solve a recently developed water problem. But we will definitely do business with him in the future.
