The installation went smoothly and the workers were professional, careful, and cleaned up well after themselves. They figured a better way to run the gas line than originally planned and stayed until the job was done - about 6:30pm. They caused a short in our alarm system when they moved the control box, but immediately offered to pay for a service call by our alarm company, Overall, very satisfied.

Behers after-hours; a technician had no problem arriving at my home within 45 minutes; the technician was able to analyze, diagnose and repair a faulty switch within a very short period of time at a reasonable rate. Well I needed a generator installed because my power goes out frequently. Behr electric had so many good reviews they were one of three I called. I liked the representative they sent to look at the job and then I called Bob Behr and he gave me the best price so I hired him. The reason they had so many good reviews because the job they did was excellent. In one day he sent a crew to my house and finished the job. The guys were very thorough and professional and friendly. I am completely satisfied and absolutely recommend Behr Electric if you need a generator or any other electrical needs.

The Generac has performed flawlessly. During an outage some years ago it powered our electric range and our air conditioner simultaneously, surprising Bob Behers himself. This afternoon, 3/20/20, a nearby transformer blew with a tremendous bang and most of my street's power went out for four hours. Normally this would be an inconvenience. But to put up with the Covid-19 quarantine with no power, no restaurants, no radio, no TV, no computer, no Internet and no furnace when facing a 30F evening--and with no idea for how long--would have been a BIG inconvenience! However, the Generac kicked right on within a few seconds of the boom and powered our house (over 1700 sq ft) without a hiccup for all four hours. As in the past, I also had the confidence to run an extension cord to an ailing neighbor to power a hospital bed and space heater. When the Generac was installed my household included my two parents in their nineties. Conclusion: It's hard to put a price tag on the feeling of security you get with a Generac.

Fabulous people, and a fabulous product. Bob came to the house on a weekend because we had an emergency medical need. He understood and cared about our need, and recommended the perfect generator and accompanying services (maintenance and alerts). He had everything prepared and immediately gave us the entire cost. He needed only a property survey, electric/gas account info and a deposit to request expedited permits, and our generator was installed 6 days later...and this was right before Christmas! His team did a great job, left everything clean and even performed another small electrical service while they were here, for which we were not charged. Bob gave us personal assurance that we could call anytime day or night if we had a problem, and he is clearly a man of his word. As a postscript: I can't begin to calculate the odds of this happening, but the very first night we needed the generator, there was a power outage in the middle of the night, and after a tense 3 minutes, the generator kicked on as programmed. Bob had offered to return to demo the generator for my husband, but God, apparently, saved him the trouble. Thanks to Bob, the RG Behers team and Generac for the peace of mind we now are enjoying...including last night when the power went out last night, 3 times!

After first meeting with Mr Behers and sitting through his presentation I cancelled the appointment with the second company and never bothered to call the third company that I had researched, there was no need. The standby generator failed to start after a power outage Saturday evening. The power company indicated that service may be out for several days due to equipment failure at a main station. I originally called Generac support who were helpful and courteous, but the troubleshooting steps failed to get the generator running. I found Bob Behers on Angie's List because he offered emergency service. Since it was after the listed hours of operation, I decided to take a chance and call thinking I would leave a message. To my surprise (and relief), Bob Sr. answered right away and was willing to talk me through steps to troubleshoot. He asked questions at each step and waited patiently for me to try the suggestion and wait for the result. He stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes, off-hours on a Saturday night, until I was able to get it started. I am extremely impressed and will definitely be scheduling a service call with Bob.

Even though it was after hours, Bob graciously came out to look at the problem. He thoroughly and quickly ran some diagnostics inside and outside the house - even explaining everything going on to me - and after about 30 minutes he diagnosed the issue. It was a Duquesne Light problem with their equipment outside the house. Bob knew exactly who to call at Duquesne Light and asked them to come down. They said they’d be a while, so to avoid racking up $$ Bob left and told me to call him at any hour that night if Duquesne Light needed him for anything. They came late and fixed everything - and I didn’t need Bob to come back. They even said “I can’t believe your electrician figured this out.” (!) Without Bob, I don’t know what we would’ve done! He was thorough, fair, very polite, and gave me an education. Thanks, Bob!

We talked on the phone and I texted what we needed and he never got back to us. I used someone else and I am glad we did. It was an $1100 job and this electrician missed out.

The electrician was to be at the property early in the morning and after not showing, I reached out to the owner of the company. Was told there was an emergency and I was to be contacted to reschedule. Never received a call the night before or prior to the service appointment the following day. Was then told the next available day was the following week.

Installation could not have been better. The workmanship is unsurpassed. This is readily apparent upon inspection. The entire crew displayed professionalism and were kind and courteous to my mother who was there during the installation. The entire project was completed in a timely manner, all within one day. Bob takes a personal interest to assure that all of the needs of the customer are met. Could not be more pleased and will be happy to recommend.

Bob was very prompt in responding to my request for a proposal. He showed up within a half an hour since he was on his way past. Very professional , and helpful. I was doing some of the wiring myself and he gave me advice on a couple of those items. Proposal was delivered in a timely manner, and although his price was slightly higher than the other proposal we received, I had a high level of confidence in working with Bob. The day of the install, his electrician, Al showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule, so I didn't have to wait. Went about his work quickly and efficiently. A second electrician, Matt arrived later in the day to assist. The majority of the work was done in one day, and the follow up visit took place a little bit later. Al and Matt were very polite and professional. They cleaned up everything when the finished, and even tidied up a few things I had left undone. I will definitely use RG Behers the next time I have this type of work to be done. Good folks to work with.

I have used this company before and will for sure use them again. They show up on time, do a great job, and clean up afterwards. I even received a follow up call the next day to make sure I was happy with the work.

Al showed up on scheduled time and looked at the job that needed completed. He left to get supplies then came back to start the work. We discussed where I wanted the outlets and he even made a few suggestions of placement that worked out better. The new light is super bright and exceeded my expectations. The outlets are spread out perfect for my new office area. I have used this company in the past and have been very happy. Al cleaned up the mess (he must have had a shopvac or something because my carpet looked cleaner when he left than when he showed up.) The phone jack is not completed yet because we are waiting until the built in desk is installed so we have proper placement.

Talked to Bob late at night was very kind and helpful. Said he'd send someone at 7am to look at it, his guy showed up after 8:30a and was here less than an hour. Also left a mess on my freshly painted basement floor. They were very nice and did fix our problem but they left a mess on my freshly painted floor that my kids were walking through and scuffed up the floor and they charged us $195 for being here less than an hour. They tested a few things and cleaned up ground connections in 2 junction boxes so it's not like there were parts costs (well maybe $1 or $2 worth for tape and wire nuts and that is being generous), it is all labor and maybe I am wrong but I think over $195 an hour is excessive. I think it is more than we should have been charged. Next time I will look elsewhere.

They arrived as promised on Saturday, were very professional and thorough and provided excellent service. I would definitely use this firm if I needed additional electrical work and recommend them without question.

Contacted the electrician. When they arrived diagnosed the problem as water getting into the box. They were able to do a temporary replacement. And will be returning to do a complete replacement of the box and other items that may need replaced. Were very responsive and understanding. Also very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing.

This is a top notch, VERY professional company. Bob (the owner) and all of his crew--including the plumbing company he subcontracted to install and connect the gas line and the electricians--were all extremely professional in all of our dealings with them. Bob was always very responsive, fair, and was constantly in touch with us at every step. The workmanship is a sight to behold--everything is neat, clean, tidy, and most importantly IT ALL WORKS! Everything passed subsequent inspections. We could not be happier with all of the work performed, which only took two days. We are happy to recommend RGBehers Company. You can't go wrong. It is refreshing to work with someone who has obvious pride in the work he provides, and makes sure that all of the subcontractors he hires share this same worth ethic and pride.

Robert G. Behers Electrical installed a whole house generator for us back in 2013. Bob is a master of his craft. It was a complicated set up and his work was flawless. He got all the necessary permits and did all the warranty paperwork. Bob Jr. has been out every year since for the annual maintenance and his work is top notch as well. I couldn't have asked for more. Worth every penny.

They worked with the tenant got the fan replaced and vented properly. It took about 3 weeks from when I first called which was fine since I was not in a hurry. They did the work and it turned out really nice. More importantly my tenant was happy. They messed up the billing and had to add an additional hour of labor for the helper and technician which he offered not to charge me for but handled the mistake professionally. I was happy to pay for the services. I would recommend him again!

Offered ideas for future lighting. Changed lighting to LED. Professional!
