+ 0 moreMr. Kemper is a very pleasant and likeable person -- but all business when he goes to work. It is obvious that he is a perfectionist, and takes pride in his work. His son worked with him, and was a very nice young man. He was very prompt when he initially came to give me an estimate, discussed everything very thoroughly, and did not "rush " through. And when he came to do the work here he called ahead to tell me that he would be 1/2 hour late! 1/2 hour! Most people wouldn't call for such a small difference -- but he did. His courtesy and concern was very appreciated. He was very careful of all my furniture, and made sure to put protective pads or pieces of plastic under all feet of furniture that would sit on a damp carpet, until it dried completely. Considering all the work he did --- and how well he did it -- I feel that I definitely got my money's worth. Thank you, Kemper Carpet Care!!!!!!
Description of Work: Cleaned Wall to Wall Carpeting on : Four Flights of stairs (6 steps each) Two Landings Living Room Dining Room Upstairs Hallway w small closet floor 2 Large Bedrooms 3 Bedroom Closet floors All the Wall to Wall Carpeting was cream colored, and VERY dirty, especially the first two flights of steps. It had been terrible when I originally moved in about 4 years ago, when I had it cleaned by another company, but it was only slightly improved. I frankly feared it was not salvagable, but decided to give Kemper a try, since he was so well written up in Angie's list. Am I glad I did!!!!! It's amazing how he cleaned that carpet! It was resurrected! Now I feel that I may get a lot more use out of it. I'm happy for visitors to see it now. Also cleaned was Upholstery on: Large Living Room Sofa w/6 loose cushions (both sides) and two large pillows 2 Living room chairs Medium Den Sofa w/4 loose cushions (both sides) and one pillow Upholstered Desk Chair Approx. 6' x 9' Den Rug 4 Upholstered Dining Chairs - seats and backs Most of the fabrics on the furniture were off-white, beige and light caramel tones that were dirty and spotted. When Kemper finished with them, they were beautiful! The spots were gone, and the fabric brightened up like new. I was SO pleased. I had hoped Mr.Kemper could perform like he evidently had for other Angie's List customers, but he MORE THAN EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely have him back when I need more carpet and upholstery cleaning and HIGHLY recommend him.

Description of Work: They cleaned wall to wall carpeting in the entire second floor and area rugs and furniture on the first floor. My carpeting and furniture look brand new.

Obviously extremely knowledgeable about different types of carpeting and upholstery fabric cleaning. Also, owner called back the day after to make sure we were pleased with all services which we were.
Description of Work: Estimating process was easy and accurately described, including price and services. Workers arrived promptly and explained everything they were doing and in what order. Also, good advice given on the most appropriate time and means of applying Scotchgaurd carpet protectant. Four rooms done with three large hallways and three sets of stairs. Team also cleaned sofa and loveseat. This was done thoroughly and carefully.

+ 0 moreThe process of setting up an appointment with Kemper was easy and handled professionally by their staff. The work was scheduled for June 6th with the promise of notification of an arrival time the day before the job was to be done. Even though the day before was a Sunday, Kemper called mid-afternoon yesterday to provide an arrival time. The owner arrived on time and got to work. He spent much more time than I would have ever expected to ensure that the couch and loveseat were clean and as dry as possible. The cleaning on my carpeted stairs was equally excellent. I highly recommend this company and will be using Kemper for all my carpet and upholstery cleaning.
Description of Work: Kemper cleaned a large scale sofa and loveseat covered with microsuede along with carpeted stairs.

Description of Work: I found this service for my parents whose carpet was an exceptional quality but had not been cleaned in 20+ years since they purchased it. My parents were both extremely impressed, not only with the professionalism of Dave and his crew, but in the results of the cleaning. They are on cloud nine, since their 20+ year carpet now looks like new. Dave cleaned the livingroom, diningroom, hallway and TV room, and charged a very reasonable price for the amount of work they did. They told me to give him an excellent rating, and they would be happy to use him again in the future.

I would absolutely use them in the future. I don?t remember how much I spent on the job but whatever they quoted us is what I paid. They just gave me the quote over the phone; they didn?t even come out for it. I think that their price was very reasonable, I remember that much.

+ -1 moreThe woman who answered the phone was very accommodating, getting me on the schedule for about 10 days after I called. I expected the work to be done first thing in the morning. Around 9:15 AM, I got a call asking if between 1 and 2 PM would be OK. Since I was going to be home all day, I agreed. Around 1:15, Dave (?) came. He did an excellent job, explaining where there were stains that could not be removed due to wear in the carpet and/or sun damage. The work was completed within 2 hours, leaving carpets remarkably cleaner than they had been before he started.
Description of Work: Clean carpet in living room, stairway with landing, and upstairs hall.

Very pleased with the service that Kemper Carpet Care provided, from the initial call to their office to the completed job. Appointment was set up easily, and special consideration was given. I was having other work done and wanted the carpets cleaned afterward. Dave paid strict attention to problem areas, and remembered everything that I had pointed out beforehand. Safety conscious also of wiring, etc. He also was mindful of shrubery, plants, steps, entrance way. Impressive. Senior discount given also.

+ 0 moreBased on reviews found on this site, we had Kemper clean the carpets in a house we recently purchased. The staff was extremely helpful in providing an accurate estimate over the phone and in setting up a date for the cleaning that fit our schedule. The actual cleaning was outstanding! Many of the carpets were not in great shape and, when Dave was done with them, they looked almost new. The carpet cleaning went so well that we had Kemper come back to clean a couch and love seat and the results were equally impressive. Kemper is a very professional organization and I will definitely use them again and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional, efficient, and friendly. Arrived on time, lifted all of the heavy furniture, did a thorough job, and the price was $120. Cant beat that!!!

I have had him a couple of times. He did the sofa, loveseat, chairs, stairs, a hallway, a large family room and an eight-by-ten area rug. I paid somewhere between $300 and $400. I thought that the price was reasonable. He was good, and that is why I had him back. He was very responsive. He called quickly and we scheduled the work quickly. I wanted to get it done before the holiday and he did it.
