Bucco's Roofing and their team were very easy to work with. Their salesperson Bobby was very professional, explained their products and service in great detail, and left shingle samples with us so we could choose our color. They arrived on time and performed the duties as explained in our contract. Ernie was out on the job site to inspect their teams work and Will kept the team moving forward. We would highly recommend their services.

Called multiple times, but this provider did not respond. This was true with a number of local providers listed with Angie's List.

The crew assigned to my job did an outstanding job. They were there early in the day and worked their tails off until it was done. They were fast and competent and flat-out good. They started removing the old roof around 8:30 in the morning and were done by 10:30! Incredible. I have installed new roofs before, when I was a lot younger, and went up on the roof to check things out when they were almost done. They used top-notch materials and the workmanship was very good. They even painted the pipes and exhaust flues to match the roof--a very nice touch I wasn't expecting. And when they were done on the roof, they cleaned up around the house BETTER than it was before they even started. They even took my shutters down so I could paint them, allowing me not to have to climb a ladder. I told them to tell the entire crew that I was impressed with their attitude, their work ethic, their ingenuity, the quality of their work, and their sincere humbleness. I wish everybody I met could be like they are; it was refreshing.

Buccos Roofing was by far the best contractor I have had experience with. There customer service begins with the first phone call and continues through to after completion. They are attentive and willing to take the time to answer any and all questions. The workers were very careful with belongings and plants - my plants around the house still had their blooms after the completion of the work which included tearing off an old roof! The work was completed quickly and on-time. Our new roof looks beautiful.

I contacted the Bucco?s Roofing company about a roof problem which, hopefully, would not require a whole roof replacement. Fortunately, the company was near-by, replacing a large church roof. Again, fortunately, Dan Easton, one of the company?s owners, came the next day. Dan checked out the whole roof and gave me a roof review and an estimate. And, again fortunately, the problem was much less than I had anticipated AND the charge was even less than the estimate! I truly appreciate Dan Easton and the Bucco?s Roofing company for their expertise and dedication in their respect to their clients.

These guys are fair, honest, prompt and professional. They show up on time, and finish the job in a timely manner. They won't overcharge the customer or include any hidden fees. Their work is highly neat and professional.

Good price, they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

It went very well. We were out of town but Bucco's kept in touch with us to let us know they had shown up and how it was going. Our neighbor kept an eye on things as well and was very impressed with how they worked and how well they cleaned up. They did not let rain stop them from getting the work done! Once we returned we were extremely pleased with how the house looked. To top it off, a Bucco's employee showed up to replace a downspout that he was not happy with. It had dents in it and he considered this unacceptable.

The company first gave a professional, detailed estimate and explained thoroughly the materials and work. They were able to schedule a date the next week and completed it in one (long) day. The owners and all of the workers were very courteous and professional. They worked on an extremely windy day in April and did a great job and cleanup.

I had a great experience with Bucco's Roofing. I felt that the charge for the work performed was very reasonable. The quality of work performed was top shelf. I appreciate that they showed up when they said they would. Many contractors don't. I would certainly use Bucco's Roofing again. I discussed a roof drainage issue I had with Mark from Bucco's Roofing on 4/22/15. Mark and another roofer arrived at my residence about a week later, as promised, to evaluate the issue. They climbed the roof, performed a thorough inspection and concluded that a new length of flashing needed to be installed. They made up, installed and caulked the flashing. They also secured a gutter at the rear of my house.

I was contacted immediately by Buccos and they told me how their system worked. It was the middle of winter, which I know is not a great time to be on a Pittsburgh roof, but I was told I was 'on the list.' Over the next few months there were a series of miscommunications and, to be fair, I might have had unreasonable expectations regarding hearing back from them. Once the winter was coming to an end and I had not heard anything in a long while I emailed Buccos to see if they were still interested. I did not get any answer after a week and so proceeded to start from the scratch the effort to try and find another company to fix my roof. Since then I have heard from Buccos who explained that they had some personnel issues on their end, on top of it just being winter and not being able to do much work. They were honest about their shortcomings. So the rating/review is based primarily on the mis/lack of communication over 2 winter months. Please factor that in and know they did eventually reach out to me. Hopefully their non-winter communications are better and their actual roof work is more in-line with the other reviews posted on AL.

He called and informed me he could not do this as a patch only as a complete redo of roof and gutters.

Bucco's was immediately responsive to my request for an estimate on re-shingling a portion of my house and replacing skylights. Dan called before he came over (as requested since it is a rental house) and was on time. Dan was courteous, professional, and answered all of our questions during the estimate visit. He provided a fair and competitive bid within a day of the house visit. He also took the time to look into the questions surrounding the skylight replacements (since the old ones are not a standard size and are not made anymore), even before he knew whether or not I was going to hire him for the work. I did not select Bucco's, but not because of any doubts about or problems with them or their estimate. As one is supposed to do, I had obtained three estimates. One I did not consider at all. The second roofer, like Bucco's, had high ratings and reviews on Angie's List. And the only reason I did not select Bucco's came down simply to having to make a choice - flip a coin almost - between these two highly-qualified, experienced, and highly-reviewed roofers. Although this time I did not select Bucco's, I would recommend to anyone needing roofing work that they call Bucco's for an estimate.

First of all, these guys DO ACTUALLY answer their phones. I called a number of providers and I had to end up going to voicemail. They actually answered my call pretty late (around 7:00PM). The next morning, I got another call and they came to my house to fix my gutter. My gutter was tilted which caused the rain water from the storm to leak through the chimney wall and damage part of my basement. When I first called them, I didn't know what was the problem that is causing leak and my initial guess was that the chimney is leaking. These guys were professionals, they examined the whole area and identified the exact problem and offered the most fair price. The initial agreement was $400 to: repair the gutter, remove its caps, and clean it. Once finished, they charged me for 300 only because they found the gutter clean! Honestly, I am very impressed. These young guys had shown professionalism, honesty, and integrity. They respond to text, email and phone calls. They are very prompt and convenient to deal with. I am very happy to with Bucco's Roofing and will definitely, call them whenever I need roof services.

Buccos Roofing did a great job overall. I was a bit leery of signing them on to do the work since they are relatively new in the business and the work involved replacing the original box gutters, which is not always straightforward or that common. However, Buccos' bid was 10%-20% lower than 3 other bids I received and after speaking to them in person to review their proposal and quiz them on how they would perform the work, I signed a contract with them. They started the work within two weeks and had the entire roof replaced and the original box gutters removed within 3 days. The hanging of the new gutters and fascia was completed in another week. Buccos maintained the job site in an organized and relatively clean manner throughout the work and they were accommodating toward the tenants living in the building and the surrounding neighbors. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns; the owners and project manager gave me their direct phone numbers and always returned my calls within a day during the bidding process, and within and hour or two while the job was under way.

Whenever you hire a contractor, no matter how careful you are it's always a crapshoot! I received four estimates from reputable roofing contractors that I found on Angie's list and decided to award the contract to Buccos Roofing of Peters Township. I couldn't be more pleased with the results...the company exceeded all of my expectations. First of all, they said that they would be there at 7:30 am. I arrived on the site at 7:10 and they had already been there working, removing the old roofing. The roofing crew was unbelievably efficient and industrious...the three men worked together like a well-oiled machine. They never stopped to take a break. They just continued to work for what turned out to be 14 straight hours. I observed the whole day and got tired watching them. The foreman Ernie, arrived in the morning with donuts and later with pizza but the crew continued to work while eating. Ernie brought a truck to the site with the equipment necessary to press out the gutters. Once that job was completed, he contacted another crew who arrived quickly to install the aluminum. Every job was completed correctly and efficiently. The quality of the work was excellent. The roofing crew removed the old shingles and gutters, replaced the rotten sheeting, installed 18.5 square of shingles and flashed the chimney. I recently had the chimney re-pointed and when the old flashing was removed, the base of the chimney was badly blemished. The crew correctly installed new flashing but it didn't quite cover the blemish. Ernie noticed it, had them remove the recently applied flashing and replace it so that the blemish was completely covered. I didn't even have to ask...he just told them and they did it without complaint! During the process, I had the occasion to meet all of the three major business men who operate Buccos Roofing: Mark (the office manager) Dan (the salesman) and Ernie (the job foreman). All three were easy to deal with and went out of their way to please the customer. I am delighted with the results. If you need a roof in the south hills of Pittsburgh, I highly recommend that you hire Buccos Roofing. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My experience went very well. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable in their field. They completed the roof in one day and were great with the clean up afterwards. I was pleased with the outcome of the service and I would recommend this this company to others.
