Buccos Roofing

The workers were on time and worked steady. There are a few issues that they have agreed to come back and repair. I was disappointed in the quality of the T1-11 used. It was very rough and did not paint well. (one problem is the one panel is separating already, They are going to replace it no problems.) I am not sure if this is standard quality now, but it is not the same as the original put up 30 years ago. They also replaced some of the underlaying material. Dan was very patient with me while making decisions. Originally we were going to put on Hardie Board but the price did not fit my budget. Price did not include painting. I was also having issues with how the water flowed around my chimney and down the wall. They were able to redesign that so the water does not roll over the edge and down the wall. Now it is flowing down the roof as it should.

It went great. The crew worked very hard all day till the job was done. They kept the work area around the house very clean. The workmanship was super. Would recommend them anytime.

Very kind. It was nice that they came and explained the whole estimate, including what they would perform and why to provide the best and up-to-code roof. They were just much more expensive than other estimates, so we went a different direction. Very professional and kind!

We had a warm spell in January, so they did a whole re roofing project. They took off the old one, removed a chimney, and removed dish antennas that people leave on their roof. They also build 2 crickets on my roof to diver the water from the other 2 chimneys. I gave them a shout out on social media. What stood out was the quality of their work. They gave me the start with a bottom line shingle, and they gave me a good quality shingle with a water proof under lay. I asked about the chimney before they started, and said, "I know you don't want to work around that if you don't have to. But let me know when you will start the job and I will find someone to take the chimney off." They took a look at the chimney and said, "We are going to have a dump here to shovel the roof off anyways so we will take the chimney off too." So they didn't even charge me. But they knew we need that out of the way so they just did it. They just weren't rushing through things. They had to work around the weather, because even though we had a warm spell they had to work around the rain. So they were very thoughtful and strategic. They said, "We are not going to trust more than we can do in a couple of hours," so they would quite. It took a week which usually takes them a day and a half but I didn't care. I think for them it was, one job is better than none at that time of the year. It cause them to take more time, but it wasn't an inconvenience for me. Everywhere on the roof where there were nail holes they sealed with caulking. I have siding and they tucked it under the siding. There were a lot of details that they could have missed and they didn't.

Dan came over on very short notice to take a look and rechaulked the flashing.

It went amazingly. They called me the day before they wanted to do the work, only because they wanted to get my job in before the several days of heavy rain. They fixed the roof that needed repairs, assessed the rest, and I have them coming back to apply some gutter guards to the rain gutters. Very professional, nice group of guys that take pride in their work.

I was extremely pleased with Buccos roofing...I talked to one of the owners ( think his name was Dan). I hope I got his name right....he immediately had his brother come out and check the situation the next day.....he saw our problem and temporarily caulked around the area that needed to be repaired for us till they could come back or until I got someone to fix it....he put no pressure on us to choose them but we appreciated their promptness, expert advice, and professionalism...we chose them..a contract was sent out immediately and we arranged for the repairs....we would highly recommend them to anyone....we will be calling them back very soon due to the age of the roof for a new one.....they are local and a newer business but we were highly satisfied with them.....the whole crew was great!

The new roof was completed in one day. The workmen were on time, very polite, and did a great job! One job supervisor was on site, another stopped by to check their progress 3 times. Clean-up was complete and well done.

Bucco's did a Great Job. 1. Initial visit. On time. Very professional. Courteous. Informative. 2. Sent an estimate within 24 hours. Answered all questions throughout our investigation process. 3. After we selected Bucco's, they gave us an installation "week". They called a couple of days earlier than anticipated and that was fine with us. 4. Completed our roof in 1 day. We did not have any bad spots on our wood so it was a very straightforward installation. The roof is rather flat so that affected the time required. 5. Very organized group. The Supervisor was very professional, nice guy. 6. Great clean-up. I had just put down some new mulch. We thought, "Why did we do that?" No Problem. Bucco's covered up all the srubs and mulch. The supervisor inspected the ground around our house personally. My wife and I are very glad we chose Bucco's. The roof is beautiful. I was there during the entire process and watched their work. Very experienced crew. All my questions were answered while watched.

They were excellent! Very professional, kept appointments, helpful and courteous. We have foundation plantings on three sides of our house which they carefully covered. They were also extremely careful not to throw junk everywhere. I may four or five small bits of junk, that's it. Roof leaks have ended, great job!

We called four different places and all of them were very responsive. We liked the fact that Bucco's used satellite pictures to give us a rough estimate prior to them actually coming out to look at the roof. We wanted some extra things done and they were accommodating. We really wanted it done before the snow came but knew we called late in the year. The week before Thanksgiving, the temperatures were in the low 50s, which will work for shingles, so we set up a day. A dumpster was brought over the night before and Bucco's workers showed up before 8:00 AM on the day we selected. They immediately went to work. There were five workers and a foreman. They were extremely efficient! They had the entire roof removed and cleaned by 11:00 and the skylight was replaced. After a little break for an early lunch, they started installing the shingles and the entire job was done by 3:30 in the afternoon. They even painted the exhaust pipes a complimentary color, which was totally unexpected. They cleaned up around the house very well--in fact, everything looked better after they cleaned up than it did before! They removed the dumpster later that evening. They did the job MUCH quicker than expected and it was done right. I went onto the roof before they were done to check things out. I have installed shingles on a number of occasions but now that I am older and there is a heck of a fall in one corner, I decided to have somebody else do it. I was very impressed with the materials and the workmanship. The workers were very efficient and courteous. All in all, a wonderful, albeit expensive, experience. I would recommend Bucco's to anybody.

These guys are the best!!! We were closing on our house and needed to get several roof vents installed ASAP. Even with short notice and a full schedule, Mark went above and beyond by coming over after hours to get the job done!!! Their rates are VERY competitive and their work is solid. This group of men knows their field and treats their customers fairly - only doing the work that's necessary. A+++++++

After dealing with another company practically begging them to take our money to replace our gutters, trim and fascia, we found Bucco's by thumbing through an Angie's List mailer. They were very responsive and communicative, which we appreciated. Their work looks great and water did not come into the garage during the last heavy rains. We will be using them in the future (either for siding and/or roofing). Their estimate was similar to the others that we had gotten.

Everyone we dealt with at Buccos was professional, polite and helpful. From sales appointments thru installation and clean-up, they were on-time and did exactly what they promised (which is unlike most every other Pittsburgh-area contractor we have encountered). The sales rep did a good job explaining options and making recommendations. He listened to what we wanted, and responded promptly to our questions and information and shingle sample requests. We also liked that that job warrantee (materials and installation)is thru the manufacturer (Cetainteed) rather than a roofer who might not be around in 5 or 10 years. The scheduling manager and job foreman did a good job keeping us informed about what to expect, despite having to work around a lot of rain and inaccurate weather forecasts. The crew kept the worksite as neat as possible and did a good (not perfect) job cleaning up afterwards. Re-roofing is a messy job under ideal conditions, and rainy, wet conditions make it worse. I continue to find bits of old shingles around the house and in the bushes, but the crew tried really hard to clean up. I did have to power-wash the deck and some other parts of the house to get off the dirt smudges left but falling debris -- but I think that should be expected. During the installation, they dented one of the gutters. Before we noticed it, they pointed the damage out to us and promised to replace it promptly. After instillation we noticed one of our outdoor floodlights was damaged, which we brought to their attention. Both the gutter and lights were quickly replaced. We appreciated the honesty and no-fuss response to making things right. Our roof is not particularly easy, with a rather steep pitch, many skylights and dormers, and a chimney. The installation was very well done, and the finished roof looks terrific. We have gotten very positive feedback from our neighbors about the job. We would definitely recommend Buccos to friends and neighbors. They were not the cheapest quote we received, but they did an excellent job and made the process as easy as possible.

Buccos Roofing came on time and on the date that they stated. They began work promptly and removed the existing shingle roof and replaced it with a new shingle roof. They made a complete inspection of the existing plywood roof surface, gutters and downspouts and found no problems. The crews were professional in their work and finished the roof within two days of starting. Although it snowed the night before and they had to wait for the snow to melt (because it was not safe to walk on the roof), once it melted they returned and promptly finished the roof the following day. Before removing the old roof, they laid down tarps to catch all of the scrap, debris and nails and made a meticulous clean-up after they were finished - no nails in the driveway. The driver of the dumpster removal that hauled the debris came promptly the next morning and was it was gone by mid-morning from my driveway. My new roof looks great and has a 50 year warranty. I would recommend Buccos Roofing to anyone They did a fantastic job and the final bill was exactly as quoted.

Overall everything went smoothly. They arrived when they said that they would and completed the job in 2 days. They probably would have finished a few hours earlier but the material was delivered a little later than expected. The workers were polite and the job was left clean. The roof looks great!

contractor showed up on time and worked very hard throughout difficult weather conditions. Contractor completed all work assigned and responded very quickly to a couple concerns I had....they even came back on Sunday to address my questions. Their pricing is extremely competitive.
