After he showed me everything, he then told me exactly what he was going to do, by cleaning up the tunnels that had already started in the garage and then he also was going to clean out the areas of where they had started to go up through the lower area of the house, meaning the garage and basement. He told me that he would also treat the wood area of the garage and basement where the termites had started to tunnel through the wood of the lower level of the house. He also told me that he had look all around the house to make sure there was no other tunnels forming, which there wasn't, and then he preceded to tell me what liquid treatment he would use, called Taurns a termiticide to be injected into soil around the foundation by rodding and or trenching. He drill and treat the exterior foundation walls in garage, and he removed termite mud tubes. He also told me to make sure that I keep children and pets away from treated areas for 24 hours following treatment. He was very professional, and very knowledgeable to his job, and he also told me he was using the same chemical that he uses for his home.

I contacted A2Z Pest Control based on the reviews on Angies List. They were very flexible and scheduled an appointment with me that met my busy schedule. Scott arrived on time and spent about 30 minutes inspecting the exterior and interior for termites. He spend another 15 minutes explaining my options and recommended that I do not treat at this time. He advised that I bury un-treated wood (tomato stake cut down to about 6") in strategic areas around the house and check them for termites before the 1st frost and again in the spring. He recommended I contact him for treatment options should termites be found eating the wooden stakes. Scott was very pleasant and professional. He spent about 45 minutes examining, answering my questions and explaining my options at no charge to me. Great experience!

First of all, Scott was right on time for the scheduled service. He asked what type of pests I was concerned about. He started inside my home and went in each room to spray. There was no odor to the chemicals he used. And they dried soon after application. Then he proceeded to spray the perimeter of the exterior of the house. He then sprayed around my trees and mulch. He was here for approximately 90 minutes. Within the next 3 months I was told that I can call him if I see any more problems with pests. He was very personable and professional. I will gladly recommend his services and if I need further treatments I will call him.

Before calling A2Z, my roommates and I tried different techniques to catch the mice ourselves, but our efforts were to no avail. We were hesitant at first to reach out for professional help, but after receiving multiple recommendations to contact A2Z, we decided to give it a shot. Scott was extremely friendly and helpful when he was in our home, and I even learned that I was close friends with his daughter's boyfriend. Small world! He also gave us a few pointers on how to handle mice infestations if they were to occur again in the future. Scott found the entry hole where the mice had gotten into our apartment, and he was able to patch that up for us. Within the next 48 hours, we caught a total of five mice! It has now been over three weeks since he came, and we have not had any issues since. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services and would definitely recommend A2Z to anyone in need of pest control services.

I have worked with A2Z pest control for a year now with wonderful results. They are very prompt, efficient and attentive to your needs. We live near woods and mice were constantly trying to get into our house via the side porch door. We have had wonderful results with their services, and once again are able to use our porch! Scott was very responsive and flexible to our needs. Because we have two dogs traps could not be set in the main floor kitchen out in the open. He set various types of traps throughout the basement, garage and yard. He came weekly to check traps and remove dead rats. After several weeks, we decided to leave the house empty and took the dogs with us to a local hotel for two days so that traps could be set out in the open in the kitchen and living room. In order to do this Scott came over on the Saturday before Easter when he had not been planning to work. After that we had no further problems and have been rat-free for over a month. There is a three-month guarantee. Scott was pleasant to deal with, prompt and professional. I highly recommend him.

He is the only contractor that I have hired that has consistently provided quality,safe affordable services I can count on him to be there when he says he will. I can even count on him to be there when I am frantically running from a wasp nest too!!! You call, he comes. I esp like the special concern he has for my pets safety with what and where he sprays. He is a local company who takes pride in servicing his community. His reputation is that of an honest,fair stand up guy. I wish all contractors were 1/2 as reliable!!!!

Scott arrived early in a unmarked truck and I pointed out the area where my house was being eaten. Scott immediately did an interior and exterior inspection and determined the cause: carpenter ant invasion! Scott sprayed, sprayed, and sprayed. I had an issue during a construction project where we found a carpenter ant infestation. I immediately reached out to A2Z and they responded quickly. They were at my house within 48hrs and were able to spray the area and successfully remove the ants. They also sprayed around my house for other pests. Since then, I have contracted them to spray every few months to keep the pests at bay. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

I kept seeing large black ants for a number of months in my home. I kept using ant traps but would see a number of them a day here and there throughout my home and outside. A friend advised me they looked like carpenter ants. I didn't want to use a large company because they always use scare tactics and try to scare you into a contract, and I didn't feel like listening to all the spin. After checking local companies and reviews here on Angie's List I decided to call a locally owned company, a2z Pest Control. My call was answered quickly and I was given an appointment for the next day. Scott (the owner) was very punctual, asked questions, identified the ants and didn't launch into scare tactics or try to contract services, but explained what he would do and what I could expect and guaranteed the job for three months. I wasn't sure what to expect but he went through my entire property including walls outside that are away from my house. He also took care of a yellow jacket nest that I had an up close and personal encounter with a few weeks before. I have seen no ants since the day he was here, and the bees' nest is no longer active. Scott was informative and pleasant and did a great job at what I understand from other people is a good price, and I didn't have to listen to scare tactics or try to be pushed into a contract. If I need such services again I will absolutely hire a2z again, and I will also recommend the service to anyone I know who needs it.

Knowledgeable. Knew exactly what product to use. No up sell or getting the customer to be scared tactics unlike other competitors (larger national chains). Very transparent on service specifics and costs. Will switch our overall service to A2Z from a major national provider.

The representatives: responded to call promptly and scheduled a timely appt. came on time and explained and carried out an appropriate and effective treatment were very friendly and informative and answered questions about other pests and potential problems without any hard sale volunteered to return if any recurrence in the problem in a one or two week frame All in all a very satisfying experience and I will call on them again and will recommend them to others

Scott from A2Z Pest Control came out and made a thorough investigation of our house inside and out. He climbed up in out attic and checked our basement, luckily, there was no signs of rats in the house. As he went though, he did point out things to watch for and simple precautions to take. I appreciated that. Outside, Scott found rat holes that I didn't even know were there. He put out bait boxes and traps. He showed up on time, he worked quickly and independently. He explained the process thoroughly and followed through just as he said he would. Scott proved himself to be knowledgeable about our problem and answered all of my questions earnestly. Following the initial consultation, the company checked back mostly weekly while I was at work. Someone from the office would call and let me know what day they would be by to check and on that day, I always found a note in my mailbox explaining just what they found. Most importantly, Scott was very discreet. My poor, lovely wife who was so igged out by the whole thing was relived that it was dealt with and almost entirely behind the scenes. We took down our bird feeders and between the poison and the traps, we seem to have driven the scurvy bastards from our yard. Thank you Scott and A2Z Pest Control

At the latest check, no mice activity in home. However, outside of home there has been activity. Arrangements will need to be made for Provider to come again to check the traps or set up new traps. For the time being, I am satisfied that I have not seen nor heard any activity inside my home. If there is an emergency, Provider has stated to call and he will come immediately.

Great customer service! I contacted A2Z after 9 pm and was assured they would see me the next day. I called first thing in the morning and was seen within the hour ..I was greatful they were able to work me into their busy morning Scott was very professional and did great work he even came back that weekend to remove what was found. i asked him a few questions about bug spraying and he answered my questions and did not pressure me into any other service. There has been no activity around my house for weeks now. I would definitely refer my friends and family to Scott and Sherry.

Both Scott and his office manager were quick to respond to phone calls and easy to work with in terms of scheduling. They were particularly kind about scheduling my initial appointment. When I explained that I was in the midst of chemotherapy and couldn't cope with setting mousetraps myself at the time, they fit me into their schedule on short notice so that I could have the traps in place before I went in for my next round of treatment. Scott came out about 5 times, setting both traps and poison baits. I did not have to check or empty traps during the service period and was willing to pay A to Z's somewhat higher fees in order to get this level of service. He finished out the treatment plan by plugging up holes/possible entry points on the outside of my house. I would recommend A to Z, and I will use them again if I have further problems with mice in the future.

A2Z is absolutely great! From the office to Scott, they are very friendly, explain what they will do and in a very easy way to understand, always show up on time and are accommodating to your schedule. The year plan is very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Below is just a small list of what A2Z has helped us with in just their first 2 visits: 1. We had a pretty big wasp issue around our back porch and attic and they were able to control it with the initial visit and have contained it ever since. 2. Handled exterior bug issues like spiders 3. Handled interior bug issues from spiders to centipedes 4. *** And the BEST for last. I was mowing the lawn one day and came across a yellow jacket nest in the ground. Those little guys are aggressive and I got stun, which is not fun. Anyway, the office handled my request quickly and Scott was able to spray it very quickly. We have not seen another yellow jacket since. Being part of the yearly service, A2Z handled this within our plan at no cost. Overall, I would highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend A2Z pest control. I know my wife already thinks it is one of the best decisions we've made since being nearly new home owners (3 years so far).
