Had been hearing noises in the attic for a while. Called A2Z Pest Control, left a message and they got back to me the same day. Scheduled an appointment. The first visit was the longest. A thorough a history was discussed and then he investigated the attic. There was evidence of rodents, which I was very impressed he found since we had 18 inches of sprayed in insulation put in the year before. I especially liked that he respected my wishes about which methods I would prefer. He set traps and came back in a few days. He caught a mouse. He came out to the house 5-6 times, sometimes without an appointment just to check the exterior. Luckily our rodent problem was not bad. During the last visit he explored the exterior thoroughly and found 3 possible entry points and filled them in. He even found a place near our front door that was cracking that needed repaired. The overall processes took 3-5 weeks and we haven't heard any noises since. They guarantee their work. They did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again.

I live in a nice, middle class neighborhood. Not high-end, but certainly not a trailer park. Needless to say, I am extremely embarrassed that I saw a rat on my property. Where did it come from? Well, I had a really poor experience with a home remodeling company - they left a dumpster in my driveway for over twelve weeks. Needless to say, the workers would throw their lunch rubbish in the dumpster - and that attracted rodents. Not wanting the problem to multiply or infest the interior of my house, I immediately called for extermination services. Scott came the same day as my inquiry. He was polite, professional and friendly. He took the time to walk through my basement to ensure there was no evidence of the rodents inside (thankfully I'm OK inside). He then proceeded to set the bait traps which will be checked/re-set approximately weekly until the issue is resolved. Here is a little detail that is important to me: the nice, clean truck he arrived in was discreet. It didn't advertise his services (i.e., it did not announce to the whole neighborhood that his business purpose was rodent control). I am very, very pleased with this business experience.

I have used their services for about 10 years and they come out three times a year. They are wonderful and I can't say enough about them. They always respond quickly if I need them to come. They say they are going to come at a certain time and they show up. They are really excellent.

We've had A2Z at our house twice - once in the summer for ants, and once recently for another pest problem, which they did find to be non-existent. Each time I called, they answer promptly and kindly - when they say they are going to show up at your house, they do -- they have expertly solved every problem we ever had - we could not imagine being with another exterminating company as this one is the best!

Everything went extremely smoothly. They were very friendly on the phone, and came to the house very soon after requesting the estimate. After having the estimate done, we scheduled the service, which occurred a few weeks later. (Rain was constantly falling which delayed the ability to have the work done.) On the day of service, he arrived on time, was extremely friendly and professional, and did the work in a quick, efficient fashion. A few weeks later, while doing yard work, I discovered termites by the side of the house, and immediately called again. He indicated that the treatment could take time to fully work, but indicated he would stop by and take a look anyway. He stopped by the next day possible, and left a note indicating that he sprayed a little bit more just to be sure. There was no charge of any kind for this additional stop. We have not found any termites in the yard since. We were extremely pleased with the service, would definitely use him again, and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Response to my call was right away and we set up a time for a property visit. When this was done, he told me where he'd like to put bait traps for maximum effect, yet not be a danger for my dogs. The traps are checked every week to week and a half and they have been visited. This work must be successful since I've seen no rats! I intend to use this company again and would recommend them highly.

We purchased a new house during the winter and noticed a couple carpenter ants, so we called A2Z. They informed us that we most likely had an infestation because the ants are dormant during the winter months. We waited until mid-March and called again. A2Z came and found a couple nests and sprayed inside and out. They were very professional and did a great job. We would recommend them to anyone.

Owner was extremely courteous, professional and understood my situation with my reviewing the details only one time. Arrangements were made to take care of 2 - 3 yellow jacket nests that day. Payment arrangements made quickly and satisfactorily over the phone since I could not be at the site within that amount of time. Job completed in very good time--no complaints at all. Receipt for billing received in the mail within few days. No need to call back. Pricing was as discussed and included Angie's List discount immediately upon mention. Very satisfied customer. I will do business here again, and recommend highly.

Sugar ants no longer a problem. A few dead carpenter ants stilll dropping under porch but no evidence of live ants at this time. Will check further and if a problem he will return.

Clearly described assessment, options, and risks. Did not push unnecessary treatment. I felt I could make an informed decision. Performed treatment when I was out of town. Goal to wipe out nest rather than just repel. Effectiveness difficult to judge short term, but my interactions with Scott and schedulers were all positive, and I felt I could trust them.

I called for an estimate to eliminate a recurring problem with ants on two floors of my house. I left a message and heard back very quickly with an estimate. When i decided to hire A2Z, they set an appointment to come out within a couple of days. The service was extremely professional. They sprayed inside and outside and were mindful of the fact that I have a pet. the problem has been resolved and one month later I still have no signs of ants. Customer service was outstanding. I do not hesitate to recommend A2Z and will hire them again if I have future pest control needs.

The work has been fine. There have been no problems. They are nice people.

Both Sherry and Scott were polite and upfront regarding cost and treatment. I sent an email regarding my need for best control and within minutes, I received a response based on the square footage of my home. The coupon in Angie's list helped me save $200. I plan on continuing with this company in the future for any pest control needs.

The whole job took about three hours and was done by the owner of the company and one other worker. Before beginning the work the owner, Scott, educated me in the possible alternatives for termite eradication. I agreed with his suggestions and he proceeded to get the job done and graciously answered all of my questions as he worked. He said that it would take up to six months for the entire colony to be gone. So far I have not seen any signs of termites. I will be getting back to A 2 Z to set up a maintenance plan and continue to use their services. I was very pleased and impressed with the company. It was good to see someone who likes what they do and who takes pride in doing it well.

Great. After describing to Scott where I saw the carpenter ants, he explained what was going on and answered any questions I had. After done spraying, he told me what to expect and look out for. And to call back if any problems or questions. Very impressed overall. On time and quick service from first call.

They baited and were out here over the next couple of weeks. The treatment seemed to work. .

Scott's wife answered the phone, and scheduled a Saturday call immediately, because I work during the week. Scott came on-time, and I was impressed with his professionalism. He taught me about carpenter ants, and went through the available treatments in detail. He inspected the entire house, finding areas of ants that I had not noticed. He also did a thorough inspection of all the outside areas, including a woody, difficult to climb back yard. Ultimately he sprayed near all wall-boards near the ants, and outside the house. The ants are already improved. There is a 3 month guarantee of no more ants. I could not be happier with Scott's service. I would recommend him to anyone else.

We have used A2Z Pest Control for several years now, both at our old house and again now that we have moved. At our old house, Scott helped us with mice in our attic and as well as carpenter ants in a retaining wall. At our new house, Scott performed the pest inspection, and also has treated on an ongoing maintenance basis for carpenter ants and general insect control. He and his wife are very friendly, easy to get ahold of and schedule with, and reliable. Scott always shows up as scheduled, on time. He is respectful of our home, and considers the fact that we have young children in the home when deciding how to treat things. He also arrives in an unmarked white truck, so it is discreet and not broadcasting to all our neighbors that we have a pest issue. The pricing seems competitive, and I like that we are using a locally owned business as opposed to a national franchise. I would highly recommend A2Z Pest Control.

We had ants crawling all over the kitchen counter, and also inside the dishwasher. A to Z was able to come out the next morning, and he (the sole owner of the business) took care of the problem. He found the entry point of the ants, where they were nesting in the yard, explained their habits and how he tracked them, and how he would treat them. They were completely gone within 2 days, just as he said. I would call this company for any pest exterminating in the future. I gave him a "B" for cost of services, as it seemed a tad high, however I have no real comparison with other companies for what is normally charged for this service. He did not try to sell me an extended service, but explained what he could do in the future, should I choose to do so.
