The owner was very courteous and explained everything to me. He was punctual and the cost was very good compared to the other prices I had gotten. Excellent and I would recommend him to anyone.

I hired Joe Ritchie to do work on the rear exterior of my home. He replaced a small deck on the second floor, put a new roof on underneath including new gutters and flashings, removed/reframed/reinstalled a first floor window, door and capping, and installed wood privacy fencing around a small patio area. Joe was responsive, completed the work within the time originally estimated, his guys were professional, showed up on time, worked a full day and left my home cleaned at the end of the day. I am very satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend this contractor.

Joe did a master bedroom and bath new addition for us almost 7 years ago. We also had the house's vinyl siding replaced and the new addition stucco-ed. I still beam with pleasure as I look around at my beautiful master suite, complete with a spacious walk in closet, a huge master bath with a large jacuzzi tub, ceramic tile & glass shower and double granite sinks. A few years later he replaced and enlarged our blacktop driveway with a beautiful concrete drive and sidewalk. Over the years many people walking by commented on how great the house and driveway look. So when it was time to renovate my kitchen, of course I got an estimate from Joe and chose him above others to do the job. The price quoted was reasonable and within my budget. Joe and his employees are friendly and professional, punctual and hard-working. The job started and ended as planned. The products and workmanship are top notch. Joe came and personally inspected the work frequently and offered quick suggestions to solve minor issues that arose. The workers were very tidy and cleaned up after themselves every day. I am more than thrilled with my new kitchen. The quality, workmanship and beauty of the renovation has more than exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Joe Ritchie Contractors.

I have very good experience with JOE RITCHIE INC., General Contractor & Builder. He seems to have done a good job. He came out and gave me an estimate first. I got an estimate from other roofers, his was not the cheapest but it's fairly in between the two. His policy is, that he will call me in three years and in three years, he will put a white aluminum covering over the rubber that should give me 15-20 years of longevity. It's going to cost me a little bit more but not that much more. I had no issues with him and we've had some pretty heavy rains. I don't expect to get any issues with heavy rains anyway. The leak in the living room is a result in heavy rains and I haven't seen it since, the heavy leak which is in the back of the house, what was happening when we have a lot of snows getting on the roof and melting and dripping down so I think that maybe taken cared of but I won't know until winter. I will use them again, as a matter of fact since he is a general contractor, some time within the not too distant future, I may have them come and do some refinishing work in my basement. I have to get an estimate from him to see how much it would cost, things like that because I don't want to spend that much money. I haven't done it yet because I'm not ready for him yet.

It all starts with my joining Angie's list to avoid the extreme hassle of calling, pricing and asking a bunch of questions. I'm a do it yourself kind of guy, yet going up and down a ladder and guessing what to do? NO!!!! Joined AL looked in the A rating as a roof isn't something you can really see or watch them do. Joe Richie came up in that list. Called a minute after I put my ordering in. Joe on the phone said he was sending a crew to inspect my roof. As soon and I hang the phone the crew is on my roof inspecting and taking pics. Joe calls me back a few mins later telling me I'd need a new roof and also some suggestions on types and a new sky light. Than asked if I'd want pics sent to my phone of my roof, and could they do the job on Fri. This was all within 15 mins. The pics I received a couple hours later and yes my roof was in need of some professional love. The workers started working at 7am finished 12pm. Clean, fast and professional. Happy!!! Rated AAA

We used Joe Ritchie in the past and were very satisfied with the work performed. We got an estimate for a patio , in the front of the house and a small section of concrete in the rear of the house. We agreed to it and It did take longer than i expected for the job to get started ,but i have to take into account that weather is a factor. Workers showed up on time and boy did i feel for them working in 90+ temps that day . They completed the job and cleaned up very well. We were very satisfied and would hire him again.

The job stayed on schedule, the costs did not increase . Materials were high grade. I would recommend Joe to anyone.

Was the first to respond to my Angie's List request. Came out Mother's Day morning to look at the job. Was the first with an estimate and the cheapest. Gave him the job on a Thursday and did it that Saturday because he knew I had a leak. I have a lot of other work for him to do.

He did a pretty good job, and he was personable. He was very easy to deal.

Went very well! It was a rough winter and the guys were here every day!Took concern about keeping my home dust free!Concern about not tracking snow in my home!Workers Pat and John were courteous and polite!They were willing to work with me every step of the way!There was wood working in the kitchen that my father had made--they were honest-couldn't promise me they could restore it but would try,Well that wood work is back up!I Wanted specific back splash--well it went up!Honestly it was horrible!Nothing was a problem-- it came back down and now new back splash is amazing! Joe Ritchie kept me informed of cost every step of the way! Kitchens can be pricey depending on what you want! I would highly recommend Joe Ritchie and his guys! As a matter of fact they are coming back for other things I need done!

We were very pleased with the results. It was excellent. We were on a timeline and he was able to fit that timeline and gave us more than we expected for a price that we were more than satisfied with. I would recommend him to anyone.

After going through the contractor experiences I have to commend any contractor that actually showed up and showed up on time as there were SO many that did not. Ritchie showed up and on time. Although I did not choose them for the work they were in contention and I have nothing bad to say about them at all. Check them out for your needs.

The entire project had its bumps but it was out of Joes hands since it was mother nature causing the problems . I liked how the same guys did the entire job so it made me feel more at ease. I have already told friends about Joe and workers plus I will use him again in the future.

The experience was excellent. He came out and did the bid which was well written. They cleaned up, they were friendly, and came early in the morning. We were very satisfied. He provided everything I asked for. He called me back the next day, right away. It was a very good experience.

overall ? my kitchen and dinning room look great , it really opened up the whole first floor.. the workers, very dependable.. knowledgable... price .. after looking around , we went with these guys.. fairly priced and it turned out great !

This was my first interaction with Joe: He came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation. Unlike many of the other contractors, Joe actually spent time figuring out the best strategy to remediate our problem and discussed his recommendations with me so that we could make an informed decision. His estimate was fair, competitive, and accurate. He was on-time, on-budget, and the finished product looks fantastic. I would highly recommend him for any work, and will definitely use him again in the future.
