Joe and his team are awesome. Some minor issues came up as they always do with this kind of work in an older home. Joe was very responsive always. We even requested some last minute changes, Joe and his guys took care of everything. Joe gets an A plus. I always recommend him to everyone who asks.

He was pleasant enough when he came out, but he never measured anything at all, nor did he ever give me an actual estimate. It wasn't helpful in any way.

There was poor attention to detail. The new concrete is staining the older adjoining blocks. The street vents have excess concrete around the edges.

Joe responded to calls and inquiries within hours. He gave us a quote at the time he looked at the space and the work started days later. It was loud and messy but it was a cinder block wall so expected that and when it was all done his guys swept, vacuumed, and mopped up inside the new office as well as the other areas of the basement that were covered in cinder block dust. It took about two and a half weeks so thirteen actual work days to complete and we are very happy with the results. Overall we are very happy. We have a second bathroom and an office it was done efficiently and when anything went wrong (the original floors were not supposed to be tile but Joe said tile would be more durable and weather/moisture resistant) it was altered without anything costing more. The cost matched the estimate something I was worried about after hearing remodel horror stories with problems causing costs to skyrocket. Joe was nice he tried to explain things at the beginning and his guys reviewed the work they did that day before leaving and gave an outline of the projects to be tackled the next day.

Great job by Fred and Mike. The installation in the walls has been a tremendous help in keeping out the cold air. Bathroom looks great.

The service provided me by Joe Richie was all 5-star! Most times I don't enjoy hiring contractors because it can be such a hassle. I'm happy to say my experience with this company was excellent. Joe stayed in communication with me...even when I was not able to get immediately back to him. He was always pleasant and very professional in my roof repair. After the roof was repaired, I saw that there was a little seepage on a small area of the ceiling, But from past experience NOT with Joe Richie, I dreaded making the call. His' message to me was if I have any problems to call. So I did, and true to his word and weather permitting returned to double check the roof. All appears to be well and I'm happy. Work took 2-3 days. Joe Ritchie came on the first day to evaluate the project and offer instructions to the other workers. The workers were meticulous and thorough in their work. They cleaned up after themselves completely, leaving no mess behind whatsoever. The work looks fantastic and we have not seen any leaks during a very serious rainstorm.

It looks great. I love it. Mike and Fred were punctual, friendly and very accommodating. They kept the area very clean and cleaned up when they left.

Needed some roofing repair and coating. Joe called, checked work that needed to be done. Completed work in a timely manner.

Joe Richie and Co. did a very nice job of putting new roofing shingles on my house I was very pleased with the results, all the neighbors in the area where admiring the job. The workers where very professional and cleaned up during and after the job. also at my request I had Joe come back a month later to give the top flat part of my roof a good extra thick coating for the winter , the cost was $400.00 and his crew did another very good job. Joe came out to give us an estimate and I had a written estimate in my inbox within a few hours. They showed up around 7 am to start and were done by the time I returned home from work. Looks like he had about 5 guys on the job and the driveway looks perfect. They turned a blacktop driveway with potholes into a cemented area where we can sit out with chairs and a table and enjoy the neighborhood. They sloped the driveway in such a way that creates a perfect seal at the bottom of the garage and all water now goes into the drains instead of pools of water around the garage. They also made sure it was perfectly leveled at the front of the driveway knowing we were having a new fence installed. Their pricing seems inline with what other companies are charging and I feel that supporting our local businesses is very important and I'm glad we gave Joe Ritchie a call! I can't thank Joe and his crew enough for doing an excellent job. Next spring they will be installing siding on our house and I'll write another review then!!

Quality looks good and workers were eager to help fix leaks. Delays were due to weather and a few hours from a previous job that day going overtime but finished quickly once they arrived.

Joe communicated throughout the permit and build process. His team is very professional and hard working. The patio is integrated so nicely that it almost looks like it was built with the rest of the house.

The roof looks great and the work was done quickly and professionally. Really nice to find a contractor who shows up on time and follows up to ensure satisfaction.

From the time I first contacted Joe on Angies Lists, I had an estimate within 3 days. I was very impressed with his straight forward attitude about having permits, insurance, and answering all my questions. It took little over a week to schedule for his crew to come out. When I arrived home that afternoon everything was done, no mess left behind and the job looked wonderful. The bottom line is that Joe Ritchie gave me the best price and did a great job. I have already given his name to several other people who hopefully will call him for their projects.

Joe came out promptly,explained what he would do in easy to understand language.Tear out and remove front 5 steps and patio, remove all debris (concrete), replace with same. Gave an estimate. Unfortunately this was above my budget for the job.

They arrived on time and they were very friendly. They worked hard and did a great job. The roof looks great and is much more solid.

I called they sent a person out immediatley to quote the job. I called back and asked for a day to schedule the service. i came home that day and the roof was finished.

I used them because of his knowledge on the job. The other guys who came out, they weren't that knowledgeable. They gave me information but they didn't go into detail.

I had a leaking the roof and called Joe out for an estimate. He was out the next day and confirmed what was my suspicion, the roof needed to be replaced. He said he would try and prioritize my job as my roof was in bad shape. He called me back and said he was able to do the job in two days. His crew was right in time and was done earlier than expected. They even waited for me to give an inspection of the roof as I was running late. Great response, professional crew, and quality work was what I paid for and it was what I received. I would definitely recommend Joe for roofing!

I called on Thursday and Joe said he could be here on Friday. They showed up punctually and did the job for $25 less than the quoted price, which I thought was more than fair. I went up on the roof with Joe and he showed me the trouble spots. He also assured me that he didn't think any additional work would be neccessary beyond a simple coating. My experience with roofers in the past has been erratic, with some even causing damage to have something to fix, so it was a welcome relief to be told that no additional work would be needed. And, since Joe is a general contractor, I asked him to look at 2 windows which needed some attention. I was expecting some expensive repairs on these windows, involving both masonry and carpentry, but Joe looked at the windows and said he had some caulk in the truck that might do the trick. He spent about minutes caulking and fixing the windows, and I believe this saved me at least $1000, which I had budgeted for a much more expensive repair. And he didn't charge me for this at all! This is a company I recommend wholeheartedly. They did everything professionally and carefully and exceeded expectations in every way possible. My sense is that this is how they treat all of their customers. I would use Joe again tomorrow. And the next day.
