Showed up bright and early, confirmed the placement of the units and they started the work. Very smooth installation that wrapped up around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. When they were done Jeremy explained the system thoroughly. Of course immediately afterwards it got cold and rained for about two weeks but at least we got to play with the heating function. We are looking forward to firing it up and having a comfortable living room and kitchen this summer. The only reason I say B for price is that their price was not the lowest (tied with one bid) but still better than a significantly higher bid. We picked ECI because neighbors had a good experience with them and the guarantee was superior.

ECI evaluated our needs and gave us three options for A/C in our 1928 home. One with high velocity to all rooms; a combination of mini splits and high velocity, or all mini splits. The cost difference was not an issue. We went with mini splits to save us additional retrofitting and to save space in our attic. So we have 8 mini splits and two compressors outside. Our sales guy Darren Temple was terrific. He answered all our questions and was very patient and personable. Our work foreman Bill came up with some creative ways to place several units in order to make them less obtrusive. The installation team were courteous, professional and clean. They put down tarps and swept on leaving. they were on time everyday and worked all day. It took about 4 days with no delays. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work and the work ethic. We also received some manufacturers' rebates to lessen the outlay. We feel very confident to recommend ECI.

They are reliable about showing up. If you make an appointment, you can count on them in coming out. When they come out, the service provided is efficient. The technicians are friendly. They can make you feel comfortable. Their punctuality is an A+. When they say they would come, they come. They don't come like 4 hours later.

Found ECI on Angie's List. Never contracted with them before. They answered immediately and sent someone to our home by 3 pm. Very professional....great service. Compressor needed replaced. The total cost of the service included $89 they would have charged to come to the house. Great deal. Would definitely use ECI again.

Started to get bad fumes through out the house. Lowered thermostat and called ECI. Chuck showed up within an hour. He did an amazing job cleaning all the components and clearing MAJOR soot clog in a chimney. He was very courteous and left whole area spotless.simple tune up turned into big job.

Arrived exactly on time. Gave a complete overview of what the adventure would be we were embarking on. Paul did a great job of explaining and educating on energy loss and solutions to the problems of a neglected energy money pit. Understanding and observing air-flows and seeing where problems are is clearly explained. Infrared is used to show where insulation isn't and where air is ingressing around windows. The first and most obvious solution that I would assume would be to replace windows. Paul explains that replacing window is one of the most expensive solutions and that air sealing around the windows is a viable solution. Very professional and an educator. Highly recommended.

what a eye opener. Paul was knowledgeable and showed me why energy costs were where they were. this is something every home owner should do with a home older than say 10-15 years old,less if cheaply constructed. Paul would be a good guy to call for that audit.

Pau was punctual, professional, and informative. His knowledge of how energy (heat and A/C) was being wasted was impressive, and he was articulate in clarifying how best to correct these issues. He did not push any products but, instead, stuck to the energy audit. He was very prompt in emailing an extensive report of his findings.

I was referred to Paul from Pro Energy through the EnergyWorks Program to perform a Home Energy Audit to look into ways to reduce my energy costs. He contacted me within a day or two after the request was sent in, and I was able to schedule with him within the next week or so. He spent almost 2 hours with me walking through the entire house and explaining all the areas where energy loss could be occurring. He did the test where a large fan is placed in the front door to demonstrate where air leakage was occurring within the house, which was eye opening as there were many areas that I had not previously considered to be air loss areas where our home was losing vast amounts of air. He completed the report the next day, and even provided recommendations for contractors that he has worked with before that are part of the EnergyWorks program. I would highly recommend working with Paul for your home energy audit needs.

Paul come to my home to conduct an energy audit. I wasn't happy with the first floor of my home being much colder than the rest fo the house, and my bedroom being much hotter during the summer. I had wondered if getting insulation under the first floor (on the basement ceiling) would solve my problems. Paul conducted a blower door test and walked with me throughout my home, even into the attic, to show me all of the places where air was leaking out. Overall this took several hours. He explained to me that the most efficient solution was rather than to insulate under the floor, to instead insulate along the rimjoist of my basement and in the attic, in order to help seal the house and prevent conditioned air from leaving and unconditioned air from exiting. I really appreciated the amount of time that Paul spent explaining everything to me, and I felt after he left that I had a better understanding of how my home worked. I have not yet had the work done, however another insulation specialist that I spoke with recommended the same, so I do feel more confident that this is the right solution. I will eventually do this at some point. Overall Paul was professional, respectful of my home, patient, and knowledgable, and I would recommend him to others.

Contacted Paul Giorgi to schedule energy audit. Paul first visually inspected areas of the house where usual heat loss occurs. He then placed a huge fan on our front door and the rest of the door was covered with a tarp-like material. This created a vacuum type of environment that he was then able to go through the house, using an infrared video camera to show where we were losing heat. There were some areas we expected but others that came as a surprise. One of those areas was the sitting room above the garage. We had never felt cold in that room because it is small and has more vents than other rooms. However, we had an insulation company come address the attic as specified in Paul report. While they were here, they cut a hole into one of the walls in that room, and discovered that, not only do we not have any insulation in that area, but that we have a large exposed area that is allowing cold air into most of that side of the house. If it was not for Paul's thoroughness we would have not figured that out for a long time nor saved the large amounts of energy it takes to heat up that room. While he was here, Paul pointed to problem areas and then offered sensible solutions, which were greatly appreciated. He also sent a detailed report including all the information discussed. The only issue we had was that the report Paul emailed to me went straight into my spam folder and I did not see it there until 3 weeks later when I cleaned it out. Until that point, we thought that he had not followed up as he said he would. (He had, within a day or two) Maybe a follow up phone call to make sure clients received the information might be helpful. We could have also called to follow up, however Paul had given us such thorough information while he was here (we took notes), that we did not feel we immediately needed the report.

As an avid viewer of home improvement programming on TV, my concerned about rising energy costs and the uncertainty of how "tight" my house was, prompted me to have an energy audit performed on my house. I located several energy auditors on Angie's List and placed calls to schedule appointments. Pro Energy Consultants was the first to call and the most local of those responding (2 of 3) and was selected. I was unaware of the exact procedure for performing an energy audit - Paul Giorgi, the consultant and owner of Pro Energy Consultants was thorough and informative through the process, showing me comparisons that illustrated where houses lose energy and then made recommendations for correcting the loss apparent in my house. His audit was delivered via email in an electronic copy for reivew. He informed me of a program available to Pennsylvania homeowners, that can assist in making these recommended improvements on their energy consumption. He also suggested two insulation companies for my consideration. One was on Angie’s List, the other not. I chose the Angie’s List company. I would recommend this company for its prompt response, efficiency and concern for the customer.

The brand was one that nobody could repair. They determined that fixing it would be more expensive than getting a new one. They were respectful of our home.

I am pleased with their work and this is my second home which I utilized their services. Randy the estimator is very helpful and the crew that completed the installation were knowledgeable.

Called office and spoke with a very nice lady. I advised her that I was interested in buying an annual Service Contract for my Heat Pump. I did ask to speak to the owner. She advised that the owner was not in, but the Service Mgr would be returning around 4pm and asked if the Service Manager could call me to which I agreed. However, I still insisted in talking with the owner, as well. And she said that the owner would call me back the following morning, as well. Unfortunately, neither the Service Manager nor the owner ever called me back. This company is, obviosuly, not looking for new business and lacks total professionalism on all counts.
