They had to delayit a week I imagine because of the weather but, after a call from me,they did come the next week and installed the windows. Overall I was pleased with their work and I would use them again.

It was very good. They were very thorough and they cleaned up after their work was done. Their price was a little high, but it wasn't excessive. They were very efficient, good work men, and they did a nice job. They came back and fixed a minor problem we had right away.

They made some scratches on our hardwood floors. They did come back out to address the issue. The person who came out to talk to me about the windows was good and knowledgeable. Everything worked out in the end and the windows turned out fine. They did a very clean job and they were neat.

Very neat, very professional and very reasonable. I was and am pleased with this company and have no problem recommending them yo anyone needing replacement windows.

All work was performed in a professional and timely manner. I really didn't shop around but the price was about what I expected.

We set a date and his team arrived on schedule. They got to work immediately, and the windows were installed the same day without any problems. They did not leave a mess. They showed me the windows after each one was installed. When complete, they showed me how to operate windows: opening, closing, cleaning, safety features, etc. Compared to other projects done in my home, this went off without a hitch. Love the windows and will call them back when I can afford to replace larger windows.

It went wonderful!!! I had met with 3 different contractors for windows. From Alco, I met with Alex who I liked right away. Alex was not the salesman but the company was so busy the week we met, Alex was helping out in the area of sales. We went over what I needed, Alex explained the specifications of the windows and we set the date for the installation, All within about an hour. I LOVED THAT. As the installation got closer, I became nervous because I hadn't heard from Alco so I called and Alex assured me everything was on schedule. The day of installation, two gentlemen showed up and they replaced all 9 windows within 4 hrs and did a beautiful job. The windows that were installed are excellent. I'm so pleased I waited to write this review because now that we are into one of our coldest winters, the difference in the warmth of my second floor compared to my first floor is unbelieveable, at least 10 degrees. I am so pleased with the service, the product, the workmanship, everything about this company exudes superior quality in every aspect of the business. I intend to have them replace the windows on my first floor. I would highly reccomment Alco.

I had several questions with the windows and doors. I had communication through emails and phone calls. They answered every question I had and gave me different ideas on the door and 2 windows for my home. Once I decided to use them they came to my home and measured all the windows and doors. 3 weeks later they were out to install them. They arrived late due to traffic; however they worked hard and still completed the job the same day. I was concerned the quality would be compromised due to them being late. I have to say there workmanship and quality of installing the windows was top notch. I am very pleased with the whole process and will use them in the future. I also will recommend this company to anyone looking for new windows or doors.

They were efficient; courteous; helpful. Windows, so far, appear to be an excellent product. We can feel the difference. Price includes extra window and color to match other windows (both requested by me), Still a good deal.

I believe it was Walter Brodsky who came out and did the estimates & measuring. He fully explained what work was to be done, gave me information on the window & door manufacturing process, energy start rating, and prep work I had to do which was easy because the home was 90% empty and I was able to easily give a 3 foot area around the windows/ door that was free of furniture or obstacles. The technicians who came out did all of the work in one day, asked any clarifying questions of me and cleaned up all debris inside and outside of the home. The work was done with expert craftsmanship and I have already seen a marked decrease in energy usage during our recent below freezing temperature cold snap. I was 100% satisfied with the value for the investment, the quality of the materials and the skill and craftsmanship of the installers. I would highly recommend ALCO Windows to any residential or commercial property owners in their service territory.

The finished product looked like a bay window and the extra details in the frames and finishing gave it more style. All of this extra construction was included in the price. The work was completed in one day and despite all of the mess from ripping out and rebuilding the windows, it was clean when they left. We have noticed the extreme difference in room temperature since these windows were installed, and plan to have the rest of the house eventually done.

Everything went well, except they used the wrong flashing on the windows. I am in a condo, and it was supposed to match the old flashing. The new flashing has a pebbled finish, it was supposed to be smooth. Luckily, the association is not going to make me change it.

They were out at the time they gave us, they completed the work as stated, took all of the old windows and vacuumed the area where they worked.

The individual that came to the house to provide the quote was on time and was very knowledgeable. He had a lot of good information and helpful tips. I am planning to replace all of the windows in the house but want to do it in two stages due to the overall cost of the project. The person then proceeded to tell me that it was in my best interest to buy now since the price of glass was going up 17% beginning in January. I asked for an overall quote, and then broken down by upstairs replacement and downstairs replacement of the windows. The individual then proceeded to write a number on piece of paper ($4470) for the replacement of the upstairs windows. When I told him I wanted to see the numbers broken out and in a formal quote he proceeded to inform that this was the best deal available and now was the time to buy due to the price increase. I asked for the details of the quote to be sent to me but he seemed to be disinterested in doing that. He then pressed me again for the sale and at that time I said I was going to get different quotes from other companies. At that point he packed up quickly and left. I was very surprised at the lack of professionalism and a scribble quote on a piece of paper. The reviews on Angies list were all top notch and this certainly took me back by how unorganized and the high pressure tactics of this individual. If this is how they do business then I would not recommend this organization to anyone.

The experience went pretty well. There were some extra charges because of the grids on the glass. They said $1999 was for windows without grids. All the windows had grids, so it was $75 each for all the windows. They charged $375 extra. I have never used this provider before. They did not do much to keep the house warmer compared to some other windows that I have downstairs. They have a pretty good price. They came within a few days after I made the purchase. I did have to call them. They said they would come out on December 4th, but they didn't; so I called them and scheduled on December 7th because it was on a Saturday. I appreciated that they did an extra work on Saturday. Everything worked out fine because the windows are warmer than the previous ones because the windows were older.

Guys are great. Awesome price for quality windows and installation. Guys are neat and clean! I hope to finish the rest of my house very soon! Looking for another great deal.

This was a quality product and installation at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend Alco to my friends.

Had to reschedule date due to heavy rain. They ended up coming out on a Sunday morning just to get the job done on timely fashion! Arrived around 8am and were finished around noon. Windows and flashing look great! Instantly noticed upstairs is now much easier to heat and no drafts anymore. Cleaned up after. This purchase easily paid for itself with added value and energy savings!

The job went great! The windows look beautiful. They are very high quality windows, there is a very clear view to outside. The installers worked very hard, I do not even believe they took a break, they were incredibly productive. They left some debris outside because it was night when they left and there was a snow covering. They were very cooperative and understanding about coming to clean it up when I asked.

When the door was installed there was some misunderstanding regarding the interior trim. Alco came back out to complete the trim in a timely manner. They done a very clean and excellent job. I am happy with the end results and wanted tomake sure I did report it. Thank you!

Very professional, on time, quality product, good pricing

We purchased the Big Deal for 5 windows. A couple years ago, we had 4 windows replaced by Power Windows and Siding, and even though I dislike how that company constantly solicits, I have to say that I found their service much better for a similar product and price. | |Alco's service wasn't as friendly. I needed help moving a bed over so they could better access a window, and they acted like it was a terrible inconvenience. They took an old AC unit out of the old window and put it on the bedroom floor; Power windows also removed an AC unit, but they asked us if we wanted them to dispose of it for us. Alco also didn't do as good of a job cleaning up after installation as Power windows did. | |Also, I never received any details or manuals about our windows, so I guess I'll need to contact them, which I feel like I shouldn't have to do. | |All in all, the price and quality are good, but for better service, consider Power Windows instead.

I was told workers would be at my house between 8-12PM but when I call I was told there were coming at 3PM which they were on the dot. They did a very clean job. I was told up front that they would try to save the existing interior door trim. I did not think if they were not able to save it that they wouldn't replace it. There was a misunderstanding. I did contact them and did point out to be clearer about it. I would never leave a job without everything 100% done. I would have paid the additional fee. I did use them before to get windows replaced. They always spoke to us when they did run into a problem before they fixed it but they gave us the option and wouldn't let it untouched. Overall they do a very clean job. They always clean up after. The product and the work they do has been always very good and I would recommend them. Just need to make sure everything is fully understood and agreed on. Thank you!
