Smoothly On time delivery no delays and the managed to fix sagging of 2 bay windows. 2 gentlemen installing were very professional and nice to work with

Our first consultation was in December - the salesman who came out once we purchased a Big Deal was very thorough. We scheduled online and it was confirmed within 24 hours. The consultant arrived on time. He explained exactly what we would be getting, what the process was, and even how long we had to cancel our order before the windows went into production and were being custom-made. The windows were finished within two weeks, exactly on schedule. We took an additional two weeks to schedule because of the holidays - the delay was not the fault of the provider. When we were able to schedule, we were given an appointment time within one week of the day we called, and offered one within four days! We took the later one because it was more convenient to us, but again we were offered a time very close to when we called. The workmen arrived around 9 AM. I pointed them at the work areas and then stayed out of the way. I had a few questions about the damaged flashing on one of the windows and was assured again that they would be completely replaced. All the work was done thoroughly and they were finished within three hours, including cleaning up and vaccuming all debris. The work areas were left completely clean. I went outside and inspected the worrisome flashing and it had been completely replaced and sealed. The windows which had been leaking leak no more! We have more windows which will need to be replaced as we slowly work through upgrading and updating our older row home. This will definitely be the provider we use again. The pricing was reasonable even if we had not gotten a Big Deal, everything was very well explained, and we had zero problems with thorough communication and quick replies, a very important part of service for me.

Alex from Alco came to my home and gave a quote and an installation timeframe. I was able to negotiate a fair price and I am happy with the cost. There was slight pressure to sign a contract immediately. Since I wanted to receive quotes from other companies I agreed to drive to their facility in Northeast Philadelphia to sign the contracts once I made my decision. It was the right decision, the two man crew arrived and were courteous and professional. They cleaned all the debris from the removal of the old windows and the installation of the new windows, including vacuuming and sweeping inside the house. During my inspection after the installation, I discovered that two of the small vent caps were missing and they immediately found two new ones and installed them. The windows are wonderful, the kitchen looks much better and the bedroom is no longer the coldest room in the house. It is really amazing the difference new windows made in the bedroom. I have five more windows to replace and I will definitely be giving Alco Windows a call when I am ready to have them installed.

Someone came out to look at all of the windows and to take measurements. He was on time and very professional and told me exactly how long it would take which was a few weeks because they were custom. A few weeks later I received a phone call that they were ready. We made an appointment and two men came to install all of the windows. It took most of the day as I expected but I was able to leave them while they worked. The windows are great quality and have already helped reduce our bills.

From the first sales visit to final installation and clean up, these guys were awesome. I went through three different contractors before finding Alco, and there was no comparison. There were no extra charges for clean-up, they custom built windows to fit my house, and they met all expectations in terms of installation timelines. They did all of the work, six windows and two doors, in just two days. It was practically miraculous after the experiences I'd had with other contractors and well-known window companies like Anderson.

My front door they installed was extremely hard to close. The paint was wearing off because of rubbing of door to door jam. I called spoke w/Alex and installer came out to fix. Did not like how the installer fix door. So I called again and installer came out and fixed correctly. I know the door was tricky. (door frame) I should say. Hopefully this will be the last time I need to call. Very good people to deal with. The windows are beautiful!

After receiving multiple quotes from a number of different companies that provide replacement windows we invited Alco to provide a quote as I had a friend that used Alco and he was very happy with his Windows. Walter came out to give the quote and measured the windows around my house and gave me a quote very quickly. There were none of the games that I experienced with other providers where they would state one price and then call their boss to "get me a great deal because I had a young family". Walter simply stated his best price which was thousands lower than his competitors. We made the decision to get windows from him that day so he took more detailed measurements and later that week they began production of the windows. About 2 weeks later, they were ready to install and we schedule the installation for about a week later. They arrived around 10 am the first morning and began work promptly, the two man crew got through all of the windows and the sliding doors in my house in two days including cleaning up after themselves and leaving my house clean. The windows look beautiful and their work capping the wood on my window frames really brightens my home. During the installation, there was an issue where the glass of one of the window sashes cracked because it was left on a heating vent. It took them less than a week to produce the replacement window and come to home to install it free of charge. I would recommend this service provider to any of my friends or family without hesitation and if I ever move and that house needs new windows would use them again

It went very well, except for one thing which they can back out and took care of.

I called to schedule an appointment for a quote on window and door replacement. I understand that it would be important to have all decision-makers present at the appointment, but there must be a better way to verify this than to ask a woman if her husband would be present because "doors are tricky" (I am the sole home-owner, primary decision-maker, and am an architect). Although I was irked by this comment, I made the appointment anyway, however I happened to choose a different contractor before the appointment occurred because I was impressed by the quality of work and the quote I received. I called to cancel, spoke with the same man, and was met with aggression, and bullying. I was told that I made a stupid decision. Based on this experience, I would not want this company anywhere near my home.

I talked to them over the phone about how many windows I wanted replaced. I would have paid significantly more to replace them. It didn't work for me and got a refund. He seemed like he was very knowledgeable. He understood what I needed and what the houses around me looked like.

The workers showed up on time were fast, friendly and proffesional. The existing doors they removed were bigger than the new ones they installed so unfortunately I had to do a little bit of drywall, spackling, and painting myself after the doors were installed. I guess I can't entirely hold that against them. Overall experience was good. I used them in the past and would use them again in the future.

All went well. They did an excellent job. My only issue is when Alex G came to my house to give an estimate I wanted to put in on my Visa card. Alex told me he would have to charge a 3% service charge. I think this should be indicated on the contract. The contract was not very clear as to the amount each window would cost me and seeing my discount. I would suggest if getting any work done on Angie's list the Company should indicate any service charge before using your charge card. Again, excellent company. I will see in colder weather how effective they are. The Company went out of their way to resolve a minor issue.

Alco installed five replacement windows in April. Because of their good service and pricing, I had them return to install a bay window at a later date. Alco's pricing is reasonable, their windows are of high quality and their installers are professional, efficient and skilled. A trusted roofer who was visiting to render an estimate for a roof assured me that the roof for the bay window was well-done.

What a great job. You have too great installers. So good in there craft and will not hesitate too call again. Thanks for a job done. Neat and clean. Alco is a great company. My experience was so good. I am telling everyone about them.

I was in the middle of getting three estimates for the window replacement project. I appreciated Walter's honesty regarding the work and what they would recommend as far as any additional repairs that might be needed. My primary issue and the reason that I did not move forward with this company was twofold: first, Walter told me I had to sign a contract and leave a deposit THAT day, though I would have 3 days to cancel, and if I was not willing to do that, he would not leave a copy of the contract here for me to review or sign and mail in. And if I did not sign the contract that day and leave a deposit but wished to move forward with the job, I would have to drive into Philly to sign the paperwork. I didn't care for the pressure to close the deal right there and then when I explained that I needed 24 hours to review the estimate and decide. A second concern was that they manufacture and install their own product and though they have been in business a long time, there was some concern that if they went out of business, any repairs/replacements would require that I start from scratch with another company, who obviously would not warranty their product and likely would not be able to do repairs or provide replacement parts.

I purchased the deal from the Angie's list. The whole process was smooth. They came first time for the measurement and let me signed the contract. Then they put the windows in manufacturing. The time between the measurement and installation was a bit longer than I expected(~8weeks) but I was not in a super hurry. The day of installation went well. They were professional. The work finished around 2:30pm. The new windows look very nice. Will definitely work with them for the next window job.

There were some rough moments with installation, until we got things on a better mode. There were some installation problems I mentioned to the owner and he corrected them.

The workers did real good they were excellent. Upper management I did have a little problem. I did wait quite quote some time for my windows. I purchased them in May and they came in August to install them. At of all the windows that I purchased the guy didn't suggest that I buy another coupon to save. They guy that installed the windows was great. I had 2 windows put in the bathroom. The upstairs windows triple plan but he could have suggested that I purchase another package for 2000 dollars an that was I could have saved.

So far we are very happy, no complaints!

The installers were very efficient and professional. They kept the window areas cleaned and removed all old debris. They completed 19 windows in one day.. we were very pleased! There were no surprise charges on the day of installation, as we have heard about other companies. I would definitely recommend them

The staff from Alco was terrific. They were able to install 15 windows throughout my home, including a large picture window, in one day. When they were finished everything was exceptional, the windows themselves are great, but the level of service, speed and professionalism put them over the top. I think my house was actually cleaner when they left then when they arrived...

After doing the measurements, they came out and installed them. They did it from the outside and left it clean and neat. They did a great job, I was very happy.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out okay. I got what I wanted, but with the windows being so expensive and everything I found out afterwards that if something happens to these windows they cannot be repaired, whereas metal frame windows can. So, I kept my other windows and I only went with their basic service. I paid them more than the big deal purchase. Regarding punctuality, they were late.
