Description of Work: Excellent service. They had to remove old steel framed windows (circa 1940) and install new all vinyl double pain. They were on time. Worked hard and long to complete the job on time. Cleaned up all the debris at the end of the day and overall job. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: they wouldn't do any job under 5 windows.. I said thanks anyway since I only needed two. probably wouldn't try to use them again unless I needed my whole house done at once.

Description of Work: We have used Alco Windows twice now. Once to replace all the windows in our house minus the Bay window and the second time to replace the Bay window. Our sales guy, Walt, is fantastic. Explained the process, the costs etc. The installers showed up on time did a fantastic job and cleaned up like they were never even there. I highly recommend Alco Windows.

The guys that came were professional, fast and thorough. They cleaned after they left and even stop one of our cats from escaping through a window opening. I would recommend them

Description of Work: They installed 10 windows in our house. They came about 30 minutes later than they said they would, but once they got here they got right to work. Only two men were doing the job and they were out of here in under 5 hours. They were very professional and very clean. We have not had a problem with the windows yet. Good quality windows and I feel we got a great deal. We got multiple quotes on windows over the last year and these, by far, were the best buy. They weren't pushy with their product. I've been so used to sales guys coming into our living room and trying to "Sell" us their window, these guys are much more laid back. They will answer any question you have, but they won't shove anything down your throat trying to force you to buy their windows. |All in all, a very good experience.

Description of Work: I had 10 windows replaced in my home, using one of the Angie's List Deals of the Day. Installation went well, and they did a good job of cleanup after installation. There was one problem with a misread measurement of one of the windows, but Alex ordered a replacement for it, and scheduled another installation for that window. I felt well-informed about the progress, and I am happy with my new windows.

Description of Work: Measured and built 10 replacement windows. Installed windows. All personnel were knowledgeable, and experienced. They installed the windows quickly and without any issues. They took care not to cause any damage, and they made sure everything was as clean as when they arrived. I very happy with the way the windows work - from easability to move the top and bottom portions as well as the screen in various positions. Both top/Bottom windows are easy to drop down for cleaning on the inside and outside.

Description of Work: Purchased 23 windows. They installed new and removed old ones. Installers were thorough and did a good job. My only complaints are about the sales rep. Larry B. Was rude and a bit insulting insinuating they were giving us a 40 percent discount when in reality there was no discount as their cost and quality of windows was the same as two other quotes we had gotten. And the grids in some of the windows were not straight. The worse ones they replaced promptly but others that were off about one eighth of an inch were not. Appeared to be a manufacturing issue.
