Description of Work: Alco Windows replaced six windows on my house in November 2015. The initial contact and estimate went smoothly, and the workers were professional, efficient, and on time on the day that the work was done. One of the window panes they installed was scratched, either at the factory or during installation, and the workers noted the issue and said they'd be back in touch shortly to replace the scratched pane. I was very impressed with the honest, forthright way that the scratched pane was acknowledged by the installers. The reason that my review isn't "all A's" is due to the length of time it took to actually get the scratched window replaced (it took until late December to finally have the job finished). If Alco had been back out to my house within a week or two after the initial installation to fix the damaged window, then I would have been 100% satisfied with my experience with them; they did good work with the installation. I have no reservation about hiring Alco again if I need further window work done, but my first experience with them wasn't perfect.

Description of Work: Alco put in 5 windows. The windows are vinyl, and aren't the best quality, but they do the job. The installation team did a nice job of installing the windows with a good finish. The only complaint is that the windows did not come with full-sized screens.

Description of Work: Alco was great to deal with on the phone, and in person. The staff was professional, and they replaced an entire house of windows - in the winter - in one day. The windows are great - much easier to clean, and more energy efficient than the old wooden windows they replaced.

Description of Work: This company replaced 8 windows in my home. They were on time and on budget and performed professionally. They were careful about my property and cleaned up after they finished. For the most part, I would never have known they were there except the windows now look great. The windows have only been in a month, but so far so good.

Description of Work: Big deal for ten windows plus an additional three windows, and privacy glass for bathroom. This is the second time I have gotten the window big deal for this company. The first time was when I got basement windows. These guys work fast and all my windows look beautiful inside and out. We did have one concern that was immediately addressed in that we were charged for lead paint remediation because we have an old home. However they did not do the special setup to remove the old windows (the old windows were not original to the home and were newer models that were cheap and poorly installed by previous owner). We were reimbursed for this with no problem. I will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Replaced 14 windows in my home. They arrived in the morning and worked until the job was done. One window was wonky and they came back out to fix the problem. So far so good....
