Count me among all of the other satisfied customers. I signed up for the Big Deal with this company and was contacted right away by Alco to set up a time to do measurements. Walter was very professional & showed up right on time. He quickly measured all of windows & provided a good presentation of the windows and the installation process. I asked for an install date about 6 weeks later because I knew I would be off that week & I was given the 1st appt time of that week. The day of the install it was of course raining very hard but the radar indicated it would be clearing soon. The crew showed up right on time & got started the minute the rain started to let up. They never stopped moving and went from 1 room to the next. I was assured that they would finish the job in 1 day but I was hoping it would not go late into the evening. They did an excellent job & cleaned up every last scrap of debris & hauled it all away. The moved furniture as needed & replaced everything right back in place when finished. There was no dirt or debris left in the house anywhere. The windows are very good quality and appear to be working just fine. I am looking forward to the winter to see the effects of better sealing windows. The thing I have to call out as a testament of why you should choose this company came when I was standing on my front porch as they were cleaning up. As I talking with the crew lead I noticed a brand new window still in its packaging on my porch. I mentally started checking to see if all of the windows had been replaced. I was told that although the window sizes had been measured correctly, one window had the wrong size entered into the computer. The crew chief became aware of the problem at 2 pm & called their factory & all production stopped while they remade my window. A new window had been delivered to my house (25 mi away) by 5:15 pm & installed by 5:30 pm that day. There is no way if this had happened to any other company that a new window could have been made & delivered in 3 hours. I am more than impressed & whole heartedly recommend this company. Everyone is very professional, hard working and the quality is very good. The only downside is that they do not have a variety of double hung windows to choose from but I think the quality of the one I received was very good. The price was also a good price.

My experience with Alco was amazing! Everyone from the salesman,the expeditor and the installation team were customer service oriented and went the extra mile to see that i was completely satisifed.The windows are beautiful and the sliding patio doors open and close so easily!I love looking at the windows that i still have'nt bought curtains for them yet! Luckily i live out in the pines.:))) I still have a few ,more win dows and at least one more door to go and i will definately be calling Alco. Thanks to everyone!!I give you 10 stars

They were excellent. Their work ethic is great and they got the work done in the time frame they said they would. They are very hard workers.

The only thing is that I wish I knew what I was getting was 1 low or 2 low e-glass. Over then that it was all good.

They did a wonderful job. I was very pleased. They were very professional. They brought extra crew out and got everything done in one day. They clean up afterthemselves.

The cleaned up after each procedure, were very thorough and pleasant.

The reviews for this company were spot-on. The salesman was brusque as described in other reviews, but did an accurate job describing the product and pricing. He applied the Angie's List discount right away. The window are still very new so we don't have a longitudinal perspective on the quality. The staff installed in about 1 day using multiple workers who spoke mostly Russian. There appeared to be good oversight of the installation process and windows measurements taking prior to the order were carefully checked prior to installation. My husband was very pleased with the process. I am a bit of a perfectionist and noticed scratches on window sill and a gouge in one or two window sills which we unfortunately had recently painted, but we have not contacted the company about this as it does not bother my husband. Overall, at this early stage, I would recommend this company because it appears that you get exactly what they say you will get. These are not as pretty as Pella widows but the product appears to perform the same without all the extra (pricey) bells and whistles Pella tried to upsell during their sales pitch. We replaced all the windows in our three story home. The sales person from this company did not try to oversell and was not pushy which was a big plus.

John came to our home to show us the window and how well it was made. He explained the windows were made by ALCO and work was done by the company. We were very pleased with the demonstration and decided to hire ALCO. We are pleased with our purchase. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing new windows.

I would not recommend with economy the way it is I can only replace what I can when I can.

Alco Windows did an absolutely fantastic job installing our replacement windows. They were punctual, clean, quick, friendly and produced a professional quality product. These windows were worth every penny we spent. They are extremely high quality at a fair competitive price. After interviewing almost 6 window companies, we chose Alco because they were the whole package. The windows are manufactured locally, the design is gorgeous and the installation is as important to the company as the window itself. We found that Alco was extremely easy to work with. From the moment they showed up at our house to install the windows, they made sure that we were satisfied throughout the whole process. We were told this would happen on the sales call, and they came through with flying colors! We know we made a great investment with Alco Windows and recommend them to anyone in the market for replacement windows.

The installation crew arrived on time as promised and worked throughout the day - windows were removed and replaced in a systematic way. There was a point toward the end of the day when we thought they would not finish, but they not only cleared all of the interior, the outside was cleared of debris as well. They returned the next day to complete the finishing touches. We were never out of touch with the crew leader (George), he was very responsive to our concerns.

The experience went well .they removed old windows installed , capped and caulked new windows fast and professional . the gentlemen started abt 9am and finished bef 3. Thanks Alco I was pleased w/your services!!!!!

I had another highly-rated Angie's company give a quote first, and Alco's (Larry) crushed it a couple days later for basically the same windows. Alco was also more in line with what I was expecting to pay.They did a good job installing the windows, although it took a team of 2 all day (from about 9 am to 7 pm). I pointed out where I had wall damage under one set of windows and they fixed what we both believe was the cause for no charge. The sliding door works great and after a few hard rains it looks like none of the windows leak. Overall a solid job, I plan on using them again for the rest of the windows in the house in a few years.

They were awesome, professional, clean, and it was an easy process with them. The windows are awesome, we love them.

My experience was very positive. We got three or four bids and their price was the best. We evaluated the quality of the product and they had the best product. The installation was very professional. The crew of people that came did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves. The windows were installed properly, with no drifts or any other problems. They performed well. This is the second year we have had it and we are very satisfied with the company, the product and with the professionalism. We have had a call, because we had an issue, which was resolved the same day. They owner of the company came out and took care of it. Everything was top notch. It is a great company to do business with. I would recommend them to anybody.

Home had original single pane glass windows and storm windows. Were ugly and clearly not energy efficient. Got several estimates and ALCO salesman was the least pushy and had the best installment cost. Product was comparable to several name brand windows we had looked into purchasing. Team came and replaced all the windows without a hitch in about three days. Left no mess and the windows look beautiful and are air tight. Very pleased with product and crew who installed our windows. Will definitely use them again for all our window and glass door needs.

Overall, it went very good. The installers did a very good job in removing the old windows and putting in the new ones.

Bottom line: Alco has great windows at a great price and I'm quite happy with the quality of the product. If you don't mind being a bit inconvenienced during the install, they're a great option.

Although we had an initial issue with a salesman failing to show up for a scheduled appointment, I contacted the sales manager, Walter, who apologized and personally came to our home. I'm glad we gave them a second chance. We received a thoroughly knowledgeable and professional presentation on the company's window products and were impressed with the fact they were manufactured locally exactly to the measurements of our window spaces. We also felt that the windows compared very favorably with the other products we considered from other window companies. Some companies wanted us to come to their showrooms, but Walter brought products with him to demonstrate. We decided on what we wanted, settled on a fair price and signed a contract that Walter reviewed with us in detail. We paid a 50% deposit and scheduled installation for about 3-4 weeks out. The price included exterior capping that other companies didn't see as necessary or wanted to charge extra for. The windows were ready for installation when promised. The installation crew and supervisor were courteous and efficient. They worked methodically and made sure to clean up everything, inside and out. They also took the initiative to touch up and even replace some interior trim that was damaged during the removal and installation process. It took about 1 and 1/4 days to complete the job. It has been over a month now and with some cold weather, we have noticed there are no more drafts or air leaks. The house is slighly quieter as well. The windows are very solid, attractive and will be easy to clean. After all the research and multiple estimates with various options we received, we were very pleased with Alco and believe we made an excellent decision.

Received a phone call in the morning of the appointment from the salesman saying he would be late. The salesman, John showed up and proceeded to show me catalogs on the entry and storm doors. He quoted me one price on a average door then gave me a another price on the same door. When we talked about the windows he seemed to be more knowledgeable about them and not too much on the doors. After our discussion he gave me a quote and then wanted me to sign a contract (which he said I could call and cancel later) and give him a deposit. After I refused he then asked again. I just didn't feel comfortable with the whole deal.

their salesman Larry came to the house and couldn't have been nicer. he explained how their windows work and why they are so effective at keeping the indoor temperature the way we want it to be. the installers began on the date promised and finished when promised. we changed one window to a frosted window and called before they started the installation. they said no problem. the frosted window did not arrive. they promised it would be ready the next day (the second day of installation) and it was there. There was no extra charge to us. we received a phone call at the end of the first day to make sure we were happy. at the end of the second (last) day they showed us how to operate the windows clearly and well. they asked if there was any other questions we had. We are delighted with the windows, the employees and the service.

The sales person gave me a relatively low-pressure approach (for windows), and I think the price was fair, though not a huge bargain, but it is hard to tell which discounts are real and which are standard. In any case, the manager immediately called me to measure the windows, and they were very responsive throughout the process. Before teh work, I was concerned about lead, given that these were original windows in bad shape in a 1920s era house and I have small children; but they did an excellent job cleaning up and securing the job site as the EPA requires. The quality of the work was great, the workmen spent hours getting everything in good shape, and were even careful to wrap the windows in appropriate colors, leaving the best of the wood detailing exposed. They were polite, and were happy to go over every detail. The only thing that was even slightly off is that the casement windows have significantly less glass than the original wood framed windows, due to the way vinyl casement windows are built. I would have gone ahead anyway, but I wish I had been more clearly told this from the beginning. That being said, the window quality seems terrific, and the job was excellent.

They were a pleasure to deal with and were not expensive. I liked their services and will use the same in future.
