This was a fabulous experience with Stirling Painting from start to finish. We got three bids, they were middle of the road and we chose to go with them simply from a "feeling" standpoint. It proved to be the right feeling. Jeremy (rep from Stirling) came out quickly and got me a proposal almost immediately since we were on a tight time line. He was able to squeeze us in when another job got delayed for one reason or another. He and I discussed colors, he made his recommendations and I chose what colors to use. The main team was here for almost two weeks painting the interior. We cleared out the rooms the best we could and they took care of the rest. Stirling moved the heavy furniture to the center of the rooms and covered with plastic. At no time was I concerened that anything would be damaged or spotted. Floors/rugs/furniture/hanging lamps...all protected. The teams cleaned up daily before leaving. Any concerns were quickly addressed and special requests were handled quickly and willingly. Just need the rain to stop so they can complete the outside! Highly recommend!

From the initial consultation through completion of the project, we were consistently pleased with their professionalism and responsiveness. The work proceeded steadily and any problems were attended to promptly, The job was complete in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price . We would happily recommend this company to others interested in home renovations. Good people, good work, competitive price.

I would have taken him up on the project, but there was a surgery and we couldn't do it. I was impressed. The price was fair. He seemed very honest. He was very professional. I will use him, but we have to wait until the time is right. He was here when he said he would be.

Excellent, very professional and knowledgeable. We had our entire downstairs painted, and all of our upstairs rooms prepped so we could paint in the future. Installed angled wainscoting up the stairway in our main entry and throughout hallway. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Stirling Painting & Renovations were very professional. They responded in a timely manner. They were very detailed and responsive.

They were fairly priced. I was pretty pleased with the work. They were very professional. They addressed all the concerns. When they painted the walls before they put the second coat on, they looked at the walls to make sure there were no nail pops and stuff like that. They didn't rush to things regarding that. They were very open for any concerns I had of things and they fixed it without any hassles.

Stirling Painting did a high quality renovation to the cabinets. I let Stirling pick the color of paint and it was PERFECT. Stirling Painting is a high quality company that provides a top of the line product.

I contacted Stirling by phone, and got an estimate within days that I felt was very reasonable. Work started within a couple weks ad was completed in two days. The workers were very communicative and professional. The work was performed with the best quality and with minimal distruption. I would contract their services again in a heartbeat and recommend them highly.

Overall disappointment. I contacted Stirling Painting & Renovations because of their "A" rating here on Angie's list. My call was returned the following day. During the initial phone call we covered the scope of work and set a date to meet at our house. The day of the appointment I received a phone call from Andy approximately one hour before the appointment time. He verified the appointment and told be that they would still be willing to keep the appointment but wanted to let me know that if this was something that I wanted to be completed this year that they would not be able to complete any work until next year sometime. At this point I had scheduled my day around this appointment at 3PM. Andy and I had never discussed any sort of time frame prior to this discussion so it caught me off guard that he would call 1 hour prior to the appointment to let me know that they would be unable to complete any work by years end. Why wasn't this brought up on the initial phone call if it was such a big deal? Also, no one from the company had even seen the scope of work that I was requesting to have completed. Had Andy showed up to the appointment as scheduled and gone over the work to be completed and personally discussed his schedule with me, I most likely would have understood and been willing to wait solely based off of their Angie's List score. I am sure their work is top notch but unfortunately I will not have the opportunity to give them a "A" rating on here. I have since contacted another company off of Angie's List and have scheduled to have the same work completed, by years end, for a total of $2,800.00.

We got an estimate back in April 2010. By the time we made our decision to go with Stirling, our house was put on the schedule for the first week of August. Our house has wood siding that was showing some wear and tear. Stirling did a great job of stripping the old paint, prepping the exterior, and then painting the house (body, garage doors, trim, and front door) with minimum mess. They also painted a small fence on the side of our property. The crew was on time and courteous. They did a very good job of trimming back the bushes/trees around the house and they left no mess at all. Their carpenter did a good job of replacing some rotten siding boards and he also repaired a section of our fence. Overall, I would definitely recommend their services.

The job went very well. The crew leader on our project, Jeremy, and all the other painters did outstanding work, and were professional, polite, and gracious from start to finish. They showed up on time, did what they said they'd do, and were great about cleanup afterward. (Not everybody is.) When I spotted a couple of small things they'd missed (my fault for not noticing those earlier) and notified Andy, he apologized and within hours Jeremy phoned me to arrange a time he could come and take care of them. Which he did, ASAP. Overall, these guys are a pleasure to work with and do terrific work. I would certainly use them again, no question.

They finished the entire job in 4 days and I am very satisfied with the work. They are very professional. I recommend them without reservation.

It was a big and complicated job. They were very good and professional. The owner came when we made an appointment. He was running late and called, he was very professional about it. It took about 4 days for one man to do the job. They cleaned up and I am very happy with the finished project. They were recommended to my husband by someone who raved about them.

They were fine and came out when they were supposed to. We did not go with them as we got a lower price from another company.

Jeremy & Shawn came to give us an estimate for the work needed to restore and renovate the kitchen in our very old home. Both men impressed us with their thoroughness, attention to details and their preparedness for the job. They had the knowledge and experience to work on a house built in 1780. Shawn and Joe have been working in our house on a daily basis. I cannot say enough to stress their level of professionalism and their competence. We have also been pleased with the contractors that they have brought in (B.C. Miller Contractual Electricians). We plan on using them for all of the projects we want to do to restore our historic home.

They are very conscientious and very professional. Their workmanship is excellent. My house is old and was built in 1780. Their finish work is excellent. We had some pipes that needed to be recovered and they did an excellent job of camouflaging it since the pipes ran through the ceiling. They have been very pleasant to work with and I would recommend them to anybody. They have been here from 8 am until 4 pm and you wouldn't know they were around except you can hear their power tools occasionally. They were very courteous. They were very professional and very experienced. They are especially good with older buildings. We actually plan to use them again for other projects down the road. We plan on sticking with them. The degree of their professionalism is phenomenal. We looked at other companies and their price was reasonable. They gave us a line-by-line proposal that was very clear and my husband really appreciated that.

From Andy's visit to make an estimate through the final day of the project the experience was a great one. The estimate was reasonable, and complete. Jerry and his crew showed up on time each day. They were polite, and considerate of our home, and lives while they worked. They cleaned up each day, and honestly we hardly knew they were here. The project was completed on schedule, and the results are beautiful. We would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

We were scheduled quickly and at time that worked for us. Our painter was on time both days, and was a real pleasure to have around, he worked quietly which was important as I work in a home office. He needed to paint a child's room that's now an adult, and deal with rather large furniture. The results are fantastic, Sterling will get more work from us, and we definitely recommend them. From start to finish, professional, they did what they said they'd do.

They are excellent. They are very prompt, if they know they are going to be late they are good about calling. There quality of work is excellent. They always clean up when they are finished.
