Stirling Painting & Renovations

I've used them a few times. I thought that they did a good job. I was happy with their service. I have also had them paint my bathroom and install a fan in my bathroom. I was really pleased with that--they even stripped the varnish from the wood trim and restained it.

I asked Andy for a bid and gave them specifically what I wanted to have done..prep work, and painting and what rooms - walls, woodwork, windows, doors..He came out and looked the job over and responded very timely with a their bid. I appreciated that he used my line items broken down exactly as I wanted in his response. Their bid was in line with other bids I had asked for from other companies... a bit more in some areas and a bit less in others. Once I made the decision to use them and gave them a deposit they locked in a start date. Andy (an owner) came out with the two painters on the first day. They were neat, professional, prompt and a pleasure have in the home. They came in the mornings and put in full days of work. Unfortunately at the end only one painter was available and he rushed to finish the job. When I said something to Andy about it not being finished as neatly I would have liked he requested permission to come back out with the other painter and check over the work and have it completed to my satisfaction. This was done and they make sure I was pleased with the work before leaving.

Initially, Andy came to give me a free estimate. We then proceeded to set a date for the work. Greg and Chris came to paint the kitchen. They were on time, friendly, and professional. I have had three other painters doing work prevously in my house. These young guys were the BEST. When they finished for the day they showed me the work completed and explained what would come next. Jeff did the cabinets and was very patient with me as he showed me samples of work that I did not like and he worked with me until I was happy. I would absolutely recommend them and I will probably use them again.

Andy came out to provide us with an estimate. He took his time measuring and discussing the job and scope with me. When we were waiting on the estimate to come I emailed on a Saturday morning to make sure it was sent. He called my husband within about 10 minutes and also emailed me back and included the quote. It did come in the mail early the following week. Erick and his crew not only did a great job, but were very nice if I had any questions or just giving updates on the progress. Because of the time of year they were not able to finish all of he work and will be returning when it warms up. We did discuss this though before they started the work so that our expectations were clear. I would not hesitate to have them return to complete any other work for us.

We contacted Stirling due to their positive reviews from Angie's List. I called Andy (the owner) the following day and within a week we had an appointment set up. Andy came to our home on a Thursday evening and by Monday morning we had our estimate. Within two weeks of the estimate we had Anthony and Gregg at our house painting. We couldn't be happier with the job that was done and the people who did it. They were neat, clean, professional and punctual. Overall, we couldn't be happier. We have a whole house that needs to be painted over the next year and we have already spoken to Andy about having Gregg come back for ALL of our upcoming projects. I recommend this company to anyone who wants a top notch job done, with no worries!!

I talked with Andy on the phone and he was pleasant, informative and not pushy. He was flexible in meeting for a walk-through of the house. He explained what was needed, how long it would take and how many guys would be needed. He always returned my phone calls rather promptly. On the first day of the job Andy and associates showed up on time. They were pleasant and professional and went right to work. As issues arose over the next few days, Andy would call and let me know what they were and what adjustments to the final bill would be. It was always my choice as to how to proceed. They got done when they said they would be which helped with the move. I just want to thank everyone for their efforts and helping me with this big and very important task. The overall experience was great.

They were done in less than a day. Wonderful clean up job. Jeff is a pleasure to work with and is a real gentleman.

We contacted 6 painters to paint the interior of our home, about 3600 sqaure feet. 4 painters came to the house to review the job and 3 of those submitted estimates. The 3 estimates were very close in price and we chose Stirling based on the comfort level we had that they would be thorough. The owner and foreman of the team (Greg) that was going to complete the job had a walk-through with us before the actual job began. The job lasted two weeks. Every day the painters arrived promptly at 8 and worked almost continuously until around 4. They patched and sanded where necessary and applied the requisite number of coats of paint. At the beginning of each day and at the end, Stirling let me know what they would do or had done. The quality of the job was excellent. In those cases where it was not, they discovered and remedied the job immediately without being informed my us. In additon to Greg, both Jeff and Chris were on the team and I would not only recommend them to others, but I would also use them again without hesitation.

This was the absolute best experience I have ever had with any contractor. The owner Jeremy Korpics was extremely professional, punctual and reliable. He responded quickly with an estimate and completed the work at and within the time frame we both agreed to. He and his crew were very reliable and always kept in communication even letting me know if they were running 5 minutes late. The two man crew of Eric and Josh completed this work in about 5 days. Eric is a master painter. I am stilled amazed that there is not a single drop of paint anywhere there shouldn't be. These guys were very considerate of both my family and my property and performed the job very quietly and as cleanly as can be. The original estimate was based on painting the house the same color. My house was originally a dark brown color. Later after the original estimate my wife and I decided to go with a slate blue color. Being that I had a tight budget, Jeremy expressed the concern that it might take more paint and extra time to cover the house correctly exceeding the original estimate. He and Eric did a test with our chosen paint to see if it would cover in one coat. It turned out that the paint covered pretty well, however Eric would have to cut-in twice to cover it properly. I'm not sure if extra paint had to be purchased for this but I know a bit more time had to be put in. Jeremy and his crew really wanted this color to work for us and made it happen without any additional costs to us. The house and garage really turned out beautifully and my wife and I couldn't be happier. All in all, this was just a perfect experience and we found the price to be very fair. I look forward to and will definitely call these guys again for future projects.

This is an excellent company. They are very professional. They are very meticulous and detail-oriented. They are highly skilled. They are very friendly, kind, and respectful. They have a good attitude.

Stirling Painting did an excellent job from beginning to end! These guys are true professionals and did a really great job. We were a little farther away than their usual service area, but they took the job and were never late. From the estimate through to the finished job they were always neat, polite and professional. They even took down and put back up a huge painting that weighed 80 pounds. They repaired all the spots that needed to be fixed. The paint job is beautiful. There was no mess at all. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

My husband and I were extremely happy with the services provided by the painters of Stirling Paint.. The painters arrived on a Monday morning and began by moving heavy furniture and covering everything.. They prepped the walls and ceilings and began work. They work the entire time they are on site. At the end of the day, they clean up and move the furniture back. The painters are very respectful and pleasant. They are extremely good at what they do. For the amount of work that needed to be done, they finished in 6 days. We are very happy with the job completed and the company and plan to use them to paint the master bath.

The Stirling representative who gave me the estimate and coordinated the job was prompt, professional, courteous, and fair. They accommodated me within a very short time frame and did a fantastic job. The painters themselves were all of the above, plus they were neat. Other than the new colors on the walls, they left no indication they'd ever even been in the house. If I need anything painted, I would absolutely call them first. I understand they also provide other services, such as handyman-type work, home renovation, etc. For these, too, they would be my first choice. Stirling is "sterling," in my book!

They came quickly to give me an estimate. They promised the job would be done in 3 days. When they scheduled it, I had company coming on Saturday before Thanksgiving. They wanted to start on Wednesday and finish by Friday. To my surprise and relief, they finished the job on Friday afternoon. This was the first time that we had hired a professional painter and we were very pleased. Their professionalism was exceptional.

They started on time, and the prep work was done neatly. Before the paneling could be painted the trim had to be completed. The person doing the trim work was very meticulous and did not rush to get it done. The quality of the work was excellent.

Personal finances lead me lead me not to do any painting. I will call them again if things change for me.

Truly a wonderful job overall! They were here for approximately two days and everything in my home was as I left it each morning.

I heard back from an email I sent from Stirling Painting's website inquiring if they painted paneling very quickly and set up an appointment with Andy Grason to come and give me an estimate on painting my living room - about 1/2 of which was paneling. He was prompt for our appointment, covered all of my questions and was quick to get an estimate out to me (both through email and regular mail). He worked with me for the best time to have the painting done - could have even done it sooner than I needed. The day of the painting Andy came before the painter and reviewed what was to be done and then went over it with his worker (I apologize, I don't remember his name). The attention to detail when the work was being done was impressive and the end result certainly reflected this. I would have no hesitation recommending Stirling Painting to anyone and, if the time comes that I need additional work done, would call them again.

It went wonderful. They kept coming out because the owner would come and inspect and if it wasn't up to standsards he would resend his workers. They were all very nice.

We received estimates from multiple contractors to sheetrock our 3rd floor. My husband did the demo (etc) but just didn't feel like taking on the job of doing the sheetrock. Not only is it a pain to get all the sheetrock up three flights of steps, we live in an older home (circa 1900) that has a lot of funky angles, etc. We also had a wall that still had plaster on it so we wanted someone who had experience with plaster to skim coat the plaster. Stirling was not the cheapest of the contractors but we felt they were the most professional, had received great reviews, and their website (with testimonials) was great. Overall we were very happy with Stirling I would say they are between an A- and B+. (I'm a tough grader.) The workers were very courteous, professional, and trustworthy. The reason for my grades: Price: Stirling is not the cheapest. However I do think they give a fair price. It's just hard for me to rate any company excellent when I am shelling out $6000 for a sheetrock job. (That's a lot of money for us.) Quality: The work was very good. However,even after all the work was complete, my husband still went around and did some more spackle and sanding. (Maybe we are perfectionists?) Responsiveness: The project manager seemed more responsive when he bid on the job than actually having the job completed. The quote said it would take 6 to 8 days. It honestly took more like 8 weeks. Fortunately, we weren't in a rush. Had we made a fuss and said we wanted it completed faster, I think they would have complied. Punctuality: See Responsiveness. A lot of times we didn't know if the workers were coming that day or not. We weren't told when they were actually going to show up. Professionalism: Never did I once feel they weren't professional. But due to the B grade in Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Price, how can you give them a A in Professionalism? Overall: Obviously a B. (Again I wish I could give them a A- or B+) Would I use them again? Absolutely,Yes!!! Would I recommend them to my friends and family? Again,Yes! Overall we were happy with our experience with Stirling. Thanks Stirling!

They estimated fairly and the final bill was the same as the estimate. They were professional and cleaned the place before they left. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

This was a continuation of the interior job that Stirling has completed the previous week. We were again stuck in a period of rain. What the team could do under cover, they did. When there were breaks in the rain, Stirling came out to do the exposed painting and staining of the deck. Once again, Stirling was very professional and competent. I would use them anytime.

VEry professional group. Very responsive, gave good recommendations when asked re: color, etc. and did the work as scheduled and on time. Responsive toquestions, and great clean up and follow through after the worrk was done. they repaired a window tha was broken, and did an overall outstanding job with little interruptions to our life.

They did an excellent job and I will continue to use them in future.
