They did a good job. I think the price was good.

We could not be happier with the entire process. Painting an entire house is disruptive but Stirling, and the crew supervisor Jerry, were always cognizant of our needs. We were never without use of our kitchen. The crew was always on time, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The crew found some "nail pops" that the builder missed and repaired those as they painted. They did an especially good job on our crown molding which had been primed by the installer but never painted. When the crew finished, the entire house was back in order within two hours. They also put up with our dog who looked forward to the crew coming every morning. We were so impressed with their work ethic, professionalism, and finished product that we have asked Stirling to submit a bid for the refinishing of our basement.

Very happy with quality of work. Looks fantastic. We were treated professionally, and Andy checked in often to keep us informed of scheduling and next steps.

We used Stirling on two separate occasions in 2012 & 2013. We have a very large home and they pretty much painted all but two rooms in our home. They did an excellent job. Andy is prompt at returning phone calls and providing very reasonable estimates. Stirling staff is great and very good at what they do. I am very picky when it comes to painting and I found that I didn't have to worry at all that the job would not look good. We are using them again this month to do some trim work and some woodwork. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism, price and quality workmanship. As long as they are in business I would not use another painting company.

It was excellent. In fact I am having them quote me on another job. While I was on vacation a pipe broke in the basement and I had to have walls taken out by a different company. I had some mold issues and the drywall was taken out. They replaced the drywall and painted the basement for me. I was happy with the price. They were fairly prompt. They did a good job. They were very neat and they cleaned up after themselves. The job was fine.

Process was easy. An e-mail to Andy generated a visit to prepare a quote. Received e-mail and snail mail quote.. (Very reasonable). Was added to their schedule and had appointment set up to suit my availability. Jerry came and explained what he'd be doing and again arranged a time suitable to my schedule. Work completed. VERY well satisfied. Great service!!! These people "get it"! Andy was very professional and responsive and Jerry was outstanding.

They are excellent and wonderful. I will give them the highest rating on all the things that you mentioned. The price has been reasonable. They are still working on a few things for us.

This is the first time we've hired anyone locally to paint for us. In the past we always did the painting ourselves and were concerned about a hired paint crew meeting our high expectations. We looked over reviews on Angie's List and selected a couple of firms to make bids on projects we wanted to do in the winter as well as projects we plan to do down the road. Both firms responded quickly and came to our house to do the walk-thru. Whereas the first firm gave us a quote on the spot, Andy Grason from Stirling Painting & Renovations took notes on the work requested and told us he would provide us a written quote with all options broken out. Andy impressed us with his eye to detail during the walk-through and he understood that we weren't sure exactly what work we would have done immediately. I received Andy's quote via email with all the details presented professionally on and Excel spreadsheet. The level of detail made it very easy for me to evaluate options. Andy's quote was a bit higher than the other quote I obtained but it was in the ballpark and we were just so impressed by Andy and the professionalism of the Stirling quote that we ruled out the other firm. Then the question remained as to when we would start the job and how much we would do. My only goal initially was to get our bathroom painted--the other work was not even on my radar other than to get an idea as to how much it would cost to paint our bedrooms down the road. The bathroom, while small, involved a lot of intricate painting. I had started the paint job myself but was unable to complete the work due to an arm injury. The painting involved trim of one color, ceiling of another, border at mid-level around the room another color, and the walls above and below the border another color. Also complicating the job was a clawfoot bathtub that literally left no room to navigate painting around the tub. Also, we wanted a wooden wall behind the pedestal sink to be painted whereas it was previously stained and sealed. Andy assured us that they would do an excellent job and they could paint around the sink so that we would not have to engage a plumber to pull the sink. With the holidays and the various winter snow storms we kind of lost our inspiration to do any work inside as we weren't up to dealing with paint fumes or general hassles of winter work. Andy did not pester us to make a decision but he did follow up with me via email and offered to discount the job further. Based on that nudge we decided to move forward with the bathroom and decided to do one bedroom including doors and trim. Andy advised me to take my existing paint colors to Buss Paints in Emmaus and they would match the colors with Benjamin Moore paint. We love Buss Paints and Benjamin Moore paint so I took my old paint cans to Buss and told them what colors went with which aspects of the job. I left the old paint cans with Buss and then Andy communicated with Buss as to how much paint was needed. What a thrill not to have to be involved with any of the paint acquisition aspects other than communicating color! Once the painter Jerry showed up on the first day we were even more sold on Stirling. Jerry was prompt and very friendly, especially to our dog (Jerry carries dog treats with him to win over his client's pets...another nice touch). Andy stopped by with Jerry to make introductions and to walk Jerry through the entire job. I was so impressed by the walk-through that I asked Andy to quote another bedroom and I green-lighted that work as well. Jerry was joined by another painter on a couple of days and we were just totally impressed by each representative of Stirling. The snow storms played havoc with Jerry being able to make it to our house from day to day-- we live on a precarious road that takes on the appearance of a luge run after several winter storms. Jerry was great about offering to do whatever it took to get the job done around the snowstorms. The job site was left neat throughout the project and I am just amazed at how clean the whole process has been. I am actually embarrassed to say the quality of the paint job Jerry did was so fabulous that I now realize the quality standards we thought we had were nowhere near the quality level delivered by Jerry and Stirling. My gosh, Jerry and Stirling are just fabulous. We will definitely engage Stirling (and hopefully Jerry) for all our future painting needs. And, on a much larger scale, we look forward to working with Stirling to stain the exterior wood of our home down the road. This has just been a wonderful experience and, as you can tell, I highly recommend Stirling!

From the beginning I was impressed with the professional way that my quote was delivered. It was also a reasonable price compared to the other quotes, though it wasn't the lowest. (The lowest was from another Angie's List painter who did not present me a written quote and blew me off the first time that he was supposed to come over.) Andy was very responsive and attentive to my needs in scheduling around the Christmas holidays. They came in before Christmas and did the worst of the damage repair and then returned after the holidays to complete the job. Jeff, the painter, was extremely diligent and did a far better job than I could have done myself. He was meticulous, clean, and very pleasant to work with. I had a lot of damage to the plaster and he spent a lot of time repairing it before he could even start painting. They even moved my grand piano to do the job. I trusted them with entry to my home while I was at work. Considering that 6.5 days were spent on the project, I think I was fortunate to have hired Stirling. The place looks great!

I solicited three contractors for bids for taking my kitchen cabinets from a dull brown to a satin white. I also needed to have some carpentry work done to extend the depth of a closet housing my washer and dryer. The two Angie's List contractor bids came in very close to one another, but Andy Grason from Stirling took the additional time to discuss options and alternatives with me. He was very knowledgeable about Benjamin Moore paints (which was my chosen company), and spoke very knowledgeably about specific color shades of white that would best work in my kitchen. His proposal arrived in a very detailed fashion, and allowed my husband and I to examine which parts of the work we might want to tackle ourselves to save a bit of money. Every aspect of this project was professional. I was introduced to each workman, who always arrived on time. As the project progressed, I was kept informed as to what remained and when it would be accomplished. I work from home, so it was important to me that their work be done with a minimum of noise and I never had to request any changes in their behavior. They were always polite and quiet enough so that they never disturbed me. There were no surprises in the final bill, only that it was lower than I expected because of savings encountered on the job that were passed on to me. From the detailed proposal to the final touches, every aspect of the project was completed with the utmost professionalism. I will definitely recommend Stirling to all my friends and neighbors!

I found Stirling to be very professional and punctual. Andy and his crew arrived when they said they would and always acted in a professional manner. His team took great pride in their work and were very neat. They laid drop cloths in all the rooms, hallways and down the steps so as not to risk tracking paint onto my carpeting. The job was completed in just under 4 days and my wife and I are very pleased with the results. I would hire this firm again and would gladly recommend their work. They were not the cheapest, but the bids I received were very close. I chose Stirling on the recommendations I received from their past clients.

It went GREAT! We had contacted several other painters who seemed 'afraid' of the fiberglass door. Andy followed up with my husband on the manufacturer's specs and after consulting with the painter who would be doing the project, we were told it would be no problem. It wasn't. Jeff was professional and personable and kept us informed as to drying time, etc., and when he'd return to complete the job. He assisted in our color choice, to my wife's amusement. All in all, a fantastic company to deal with. We would definitely recommend Stirling and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I am very pleased with this project from introduction to completion. Andy Grayson and the gentlemen from Stirling Painting did a wonderful job! I am very happy with their work, attention to detail, courtesy and professionalism. They arrived on time each day, did a great job at prepping the floors and furniture. At the end of each day they did a great job of cleaning up, removing the drop cloths, and sweeping. I look forward to working with them again in the near future for painting my bedrooms. We found Stirling on Angie's List and were impressed from the initial contact to the project's completion. Andy responded to phone calls promptly, checked out the specs for the door's manufacturer's finishing instructions as we requested and checked with the painter who would be doing the job before beginning. Jeff was professional and congenial and very neat. We couldn't be more pleased and would not hesitate to contact Stirling for any future painting.

We are very pleased with Andy and Stirling Painitng. My wife and I recently purchased a Townhouse in Easton and had Stirling paint part of the interior. We made all of the arrangements with Andy via e-mail due to the closing of the sale and our work schedules. The communication with Andy was very good and consistent. The crew that they sent out to do the job were very good at their craft and conscientous (Jeff especially). We are very happy with the outcome and hope to have them back to do some additional work in the future. Their work was so good that it made the remaining areas that we didn't paint look like they need painting now!! Please consider Stirling for your painting projects.

First of all let me note that I had the house repainted a few years ago and it was a disaster. Of the 6 rating area's, 5 would have been "F", if I had gone through the Angieslist ratings checklist. However our experience with Stirling Painting & Renovations was outstanding. Andy came and discussed the job I wanted, who would be doing the painting, provided an estimate, and kept me informed daily on any changes in the schedule due to the weather. All the painters were excellent painters, professional, neat, friendly, cleaned up daily, etc. They requested me to inform them if I had any concerns. I went over their work in detail every evening after they left and never found a single problem. And there were absolutely no paint drippings on anything that shouldn't have paint on it. The final product was that the house looked better than when it was new. I plan to use Stirling Painting & Renovations when I have some interior painting done. I would highly recommend them.

Andy came out right away and gave an estimate for the work I wanted done. Very pleasant and professional. The gentlemen doing the work were very polite and took great care in their work and with my home and furnishings. The final product is perfect and I am having Stirling do some exterier power washing and deck stain and sealing.

I LOVE this company. they are so professional yet very down to eartth. I trust them in my home and the work is beautiful. They stand by their work. I called them a year later after I had some cracking along a baseboard and they came out promptly and repaired at no charge. Andy who does the estimates was very helpful with color selections also. I regularly refer people.

We had used a painter in the past who we got recommended by a friend of a friend of a friend. It looked like they just splashed paint on the walls with a slingshot. I was so happy to have a positive experience with Stirling. Angie came out and explained that they cleaned the walls and patched up the imperfections. Greg and Jeff were the ones who came out to paint and they worked great with each other. Their price was towards the higher end, but I got far more than I expected out of the job. I was amazed that they cleaned the walls and did more than a patch job. I was nervous about the paint lines towards the ceiling, but they are perfectly straight and clean. Greg and Shawn came out to do the crown installation. I feel like I have a whole new house with the new paint and molding!

We found Stirling on Angie`s list. Called them for an estimate .Andy was very prompt and spent time with us going over what needed to be done ,scheduling,etc. A few days later we received an estimate by email followed up by receiving one by regular mail. Estimate was almost $1,000.00 less than the other competitive estimate we received. Throughout this process Andy was very professional and open to our questions and concerns. While the painting was being done we decided to do some other work and have the floors in the laundry and powder room replaced. Again the process was very smooth and the work excellent. While the dryer was being re-installed Shawn discovered that the dryer vent hose was not to current code and was blocked. He also discovered that the hose had caused a scorching of the insulation in the cellar. Of course we had the hose replaced. Throughout the entire process every one of the representatives of Stirling was professional,knowledgable and polite. Ofcourse we will be using Stirling in the future and would also like to thank Angie`s List for providing this service .

It took 2 painters 7 days to complete the job. They arrived at 8:00am sharp every day and worked till 4:00. Each day before leaving, they gathered their tools & supplies in an out-of-the-way area and covered them with tarps. They removed all tarps that were on the floor and then vacuumed any area they had worked in or just walked through that day. Then we would discuss the next area to be prepped & painted the following day. That enabled me to move figurines, plants, etc. out of the way before they arrived the next morning, which helped expedite the process. I was kept informed at all times. The owner called periodically throughout the job to check if I was satisfied with the progress. He walked through for a final inspection immediately after it was completed. The 2 painters were excellent: conscientious workers, paying great attention to detail. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

Very professional. I could not be home, so left them a key for them to use to enter the house. The painting looks great.
