He was here for probably an hour and by the time the garage door was really much quieter and worked very smoothly so they did a very good job. I would grade him as an excellent.

Called them up as my garage door opener was not opening with my remote. They immediately scheduled a person to come and look the next day. Ryan was the technician who came the following day. Since my opener was old, I asked him for a quote to replace the opener. He gave a reasonable quote and started work immediately. He did a good and professional job. He even explained the features to me. Would use their services any day.

I called for Spring replacements and a keyless panel/ They checked everything over,advised on situations and replaced other faulty parts. I was very satisfied.

A spring broke on our garage door opener and we could not get the door open. Needed quick service as one of our cars was stuck inside. Called Girard around 8:30 AM, and the technician was at the house by 10:00. He explained the two options that were available to me and why the second of the two was far and away the best value, despite an extra $125 in cost. We essentially have brand new parts for everything but the door itself, and a 5 year warranty to go with them. Jesse, the tech, was exceptionally courteous and friendly, taking the time to explain what was wrong, what my options were, and everything that he had done once he was finished. He gave some suggestions for maintaining the door and minimizing wear and future cost. All work was done in less than 90 minutes. I would recommend Girard in a heartbeat, and will call them immediately in the future if we have any other issue. Great, great experience.

Gave me a choice of days for service, asked what worked for me as opposed to telling me what they had available; asked what window of time I wanted Jesse showed up on time, was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He quickly diagnosed the multiple issues with my garage doors and two hours later my garage doors were like new. I didn't shop around so I am not sure how competitive their pricing is/was but to me the service warranted every penny! I highly recommend them.

Mike showed up less than 24 hours of my call, diagnosed the problem, had parts on hand and my door was working within 1.5 hours or less. My door is old and a little wonky, but he straightened the track and now it works better than ever. I have a 5 year warrantee on my door now.

The service was great. The service representative Vince came at the scheduled time. He gave us a verbal estimate. All work was done professionally and fast. He explained why it was necessary to replace the other spring even though it was not broken. He accepted the coupon we had for a free service call (value $75.00) and gave us a bill that reflected the amount given at the estimation. Vince completed the job in a short period of time and gave us some tips on preventive actions we can take to keep the equipment in good working order. We received a 3 year hardware warranty. The service call was a pleasant experience. We would recommend Girard's Garage Door Services to all.

Very prompt and professional. The price seems to be very high. Inn fairness we were told up front after the inspection of what it would cost.

These mechanics were expert at what they do. There was not a doubt in my mind that what they pointed out was truly the cause of the problems. They were here on time (even early) and worked pretty quickly! Upon my request they went over the shoddy trim on the exterior of the two doors. As soon as the warmer weather arrives (soon, I hope) I will have them back to replace that and do any normal maintenance recommended.

Our garage door spring broke as well as two rollers. Mike D. came the next morning as we requested on time and surveyed the damaged. He pointed out various damages that were not obvious to the untrained eye. However after pointing them out, it was obvious that he need to replaced the springs, cables, rollers & assembly. He worked on the door for an hour & half, professionally, and quickly. I will certainly recommend Girard Garage Door Services to anyone.

The service went excellent! The door will operate even if there is a power failure now. They were fast and professional. I had a little problem after the service, but they came out right away and made the necessary adjustment.

Appointment was scheduled promptly for the next day after I called; technician Blair arrived on time at beginning of 4-6pm window I had been given. He was very professional and quick. I was pleased with the work.

I called on a Tuesday after 5 and the company was able to get me scheduled the very next day with a window of 4-6 pm to accommodate my schedule. Blair the technician showed up promptly (at 4:15) and was completed with the work by 5. He was professional and explained everything he was doing. The price came with a 5 year warranty so I was OK with it. I would definitely use them again!

Vince did a great job! Garage door was very shaky and unstable going up and down, now it operates like a new door.

Blair was our service technician. From the time he pulled into our driveway till he was finished, it took him only an hour! He was fast, efficient, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He helped us to set up the key pad and synced both openers to open both doors and turn the lights off and on. We were very happy with the level of service and professionalism this company has to offer. Well worth the money!

I contacted them through Angie's list, they called me back right away. They went out to the property that day, fixed the garage, called me with the price, I paid it over the phone. Same day service, they did a great job. Would definitely use them again.

Outstanding service by Mike the technician, and Girard. Two day response time to phone call. Mike called from the road to ensure someone was at home. Doors installed by another company in 2011. Mike fixed the problem which was loose wiring, and also rechecked, and lubricated all systems. we also found one of my openers, which was in storage was defective, and it was replaced and programmed on the spot. Prompt, courteous, and professional. Girard is now my garage door service company.

Mike arrived later than the the initial window, but he and office kept us updated. He showed what we needed, gave us time to consider, and then did the work quickly and professionally. We would certainly use this vender again.

He appears to be very knowledgeable and his prices are reasonable.

And so it goes... Spring snaps and nearly hits my son after I opened the garage door. Why didn't the safety cable work...you ask? Because the previous owners used cable tv coax cable for the safety cable instead of the specialized wire intended for it. Vince, of Girard's was very professional. He was very informative and very patient considering that I do not know anything about garage door care. He pointed out all of the coax cable (all but 1) and also pegged the cause for the rocking of the doors as they opened. Springs and security cables replaced, pullies replaced, lubricated and check the doors overall and gave a free estimate on future needs and replacements. Vince also discovered the cable pulling the other garage door open was shredded and literally hanging on by a thread. That was replaced too... I was able to use a coupon I found online as there really wasn't one on Angie's List to suit my needs but I searched Angie's list first for ratings... I called same day (yesterday) and got an immediate appointment. I was given a 3-5pm time bracket for arrival and Vince arrived shortly after 3pm (if my recollection serves me correctly). Nothing more to say but Thank You. We can now safely open both doors and get the cars in before the winter snow...

Blair made the necessary repairs and scheduled an appointment to return to replace gaskets on each door at my request. He was professional and personable--outstanding customer service. My garage door is fixed, he took the time to help me with my keypad and I am quite pleased with the service provided. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Labor for replacement was on the high side but very thorough and professional. Very neat.

It couldn't have gone better. Our service technician - Blair - was great. He told us he could come the same day around 4pm - and was early. He looked at the door, and advised - much to our surprise and delight - that he thought he could repair the door - rather than replace it. He said he had the parts on hand and could have the whole thing repaired and functioning within 15 minutes to a half hour. He worked on the door, repairing the door (which had cracked and the mount to the door had pulled off). He reinforced the area that had cracked and secured the mount to the chain. He even tweaked some of the settings to give us a bit more life in the door and motor. He advised on next steps - that we'd probably need a new motor/drive at some point in the near future - but said the door would be fine and would hold for a while. Blair clearly knew what he was talking about and was really helpful in fixing our problem at a low cost! When we do need to replace the drive/motor components - we'll be calling Girard's Garage Door!

Yesterday, a lift cable on one of our garage doors broke trapping a vehicle in the garage. I called Girard. They agreed to come today. The technician arrived at the appointed time, examined the door, quoted a cost and repaired the door. He also examined all other components of this door as well as the other garage door. He tightened fittings as needed and lubricated the doors. He was a pleasant, well spoken professional. I will immediately call this firm the next time we need a garage door fixed.
