Excellent, prompt service. Mike D arrived within 2 hours of my call as the dispatcher said he would, immediately identified the problem, and repaired it quickly. Will surely call them again if needed.

After the spring broke, I made an appointment for the first early-morning slot available. The technician showed up towards the end of the time range and was able to begin the repair immediately. The job took a bit over an hour, and the work area was left neat and clean. The door is operating smoothly and quietly. I do feel I was overcharged a bit, but getting prompt professional service eased the pain. I had used the company before, and I would use them again.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GIRARD's GARAGE DOOR. We were well served by Blair and Dillon. Our garage door spring broke late at night with a loud thud. Already feeling awful, the task to find a garage door repairman that can get your car out quickly started as an unpleasant task. Started with Yellow pages, found a few listings. Then checked them online, almost all had mixed reviews. I chose Girard because it had the best reviews with few negatives. Called at 11:pm and their answering service took my number. Followed up the next morning at 8am and they were about to call me already. Got an appointment for 9am that day. They got to my house on time. As they were the only one I called, my antenna was looking for signs if these guys were going to take advantage of me at my time of distress. It did not help that they started with good news and bad news. Bad news was we have a garage door that uses a custom spring. Good news was that they could fix the door with a standard spring they carry in their truck but it would lasts for about 6000 cycles - approx 6 years. A normal appropriate spring should last 10+ years.The custom ordered spring was to cost $90 more. He then called his company and they apparently have a spring in in their warehouse and thus would only cost $50 more than the standard spring. They could have just stuck to the original cost. They offered to charge me for the service call but would waive another service charge when they return with the custom spring in a day or two. I thought that was a fair offer. They came out on time two days later, again on time, and did a wonderful job. My wife fortuitously found a refrigerator magnet dated 2011 with $40 a coupon. I presented to Blair AFTER they finished the job. He said they have changed the magnet coupons to $25 for several years and could only honor it for $25. I said OK since I was already happy with the total cost and was glad to support an honest small business. A few seconds later, he said, he will give me the $40 since I have the magnet. And then he gave me back the magnet since it does not have an expiration date for me to use again if I need to call them. I tell all these details to testify to the integrity of the way Blair/Dillion interacted with me and trust that this is a reflection of the way Girard's does business with its customers. GOOD SERVICE, GOOD WORK and a FAIR PRICE without taking advantage of customers already in distress. I am not sure if they are the cheapest but I feel the price I paid was very fair for a service that I am very happy with. At time of distress, you can feel comfortable to call these guys.

These guys were awesome. Called me back quickly to schedule an appointment. Called on the way and showed up on time. Blair was very polite and efficient. Gave me several options for repairs and let me decide without any annoying effort to up-sell. Got it done and were on their way. I would recommend them without reservation. I'll be calling them back when it's finally time to replace my door.

He did the work quickly and well. He also cleaned up well and was very professional. My problem is that after opening up Angie's List deals for similar services offered at much lower prices I feel I was over charged. Other people for the same repair were charged less than half of what I was charged.

Great service. Phoned on a Sunday to leave a message and spoke to someone immediately. They then had a local person call me back. We had someone working on the door by early Monday morning. Outstanding service and responsiveness.

Diagnosed problem, replaced parts, recommended future action. Gave multiple options for that day's work and for future work. Saved me over other company that had come by and offered to do work for double the price.

Called Girard's on a Sunday afternoon and they were out to replace our broken garage door springs the next morning. Thankfully, Girard's carries replacement springs on their trucks and the new springs were immediately installed in about an hour. They are very professional and do great work. I would highly recommend them. By the way, just for comparison, we had a spring break on our other garage door a couple years ago and the company we used previously (not Girard's) did not stock the part and we had to wait weeks for the new springs to be installed.

They gave me a window of arrival time between 10 and 12. The technician arrived at 10:30 and was there for about a half hour. The $150 I paid was for the cost of the rollers. The service call was free because of an Angie's List deal.

One day after returning from some errands I discovered that my garage door would not open and the manual override also did not work. I selected Girard's after searching on Angie's List for the best providers. I called mid-day and the technician arrived the same afternoon. He immediately diagnosed the problem which was a broken spring. He recommended replacing both springs since the other one would likely break before I would need a new door since the door is in good condition. Therefore, his recommendation made sense. I was pleased with Girard's responsiveness and the quality of their work. I would recommend them to others.

First, I wish I responded as quick as they did to write this review. They were there immediately Aplus!! I had a spring and wires replaced/repaired for the garage door(not sure the whole extent of the job) - but it was done in about 20 minutes. On top of it-they gave me $40 off for using Angies List. Excellent company and service.. would use them again.

Arrived on time, only about an hour after I called. Quick and professional....explained the work that was completed and offered quote for new garage door. Would not hesitate to use recommend this company and use them again!

I saw that one of the torsion springs was broken on my garage door. I Called Girard's to schedule appointment because my garage door would not open. The person who answered the phone asked what the issue was and when I would like them to come out. I asked if they could come out the next day since my door would not open via the opener or manually. They gave me an appointment first thing the next day. Ryan came out on time and even called to tell me he was on his way. When Ryan arrived he looked at broken spring and recommended replacing both springs since the one that was not broken was same age as the one that broke. I agreed. Ryan also recommended doing a tune-up/overhaul on the garage door. The tune-up included replacing the rollers and bearings. I agreed. The garage door is much quieter now after the tune-up. Ryan performed the repairs quickly. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He even wiped his feet whenever coming into the house. I would use Girard's again if I needed garage door repairs.

I couldn't have been more pleased with job that the crew did. They were extremely professional and efficient. They arrived on time which is important to me. I am very happy with the job that they did. I would recommend them to anyone.

Everything went very well as you can see it was all marked excellent. I have know idea how to rate the price. We just looked the name up on line and saw Angie's List mentioned and called them as I needed to get my car out of the garage. Hopefully, that Overhead Door special which I noticed later for $99 is not the same thing as we had done. Overall the mechanic was very professional and did an excellent job. Also, he came within an hour or so after we called.

It went well. Called on a Thursday service man came Friday. Made an appointment for the following Tuesday. The serviceman arrived early started working right away. He worked straight through until the job was done.

called them monday they came out tuesday, very responsive and quick. came in explained everything clearly and replaced the springs. found some other issues with the door and fixed them quickly at no extra cost. honest good work, will use them again

Service work and technicians were great. Called the office and got same day service. Had the repair completed in 30 minutes. Door opens and closes smoothly and quietly.

Great. I called this morning, had an appointment for 4-6pm today Received a call at 4, Mike was 20 minutes out, on his way Mike identified the issue which was under warranty from a previous service Repairs made in about 20 minutes and fee paid for visit, minus the warranty Garage door running smooth and we all should be able to sleep after the first person leaves in the morning!

Service was provided immediately! I would recommend Girard's highly!
