The two-man crew arrived on time, went about their work efficiently, answered all my questions and went above and beyond the call of duty.

We were very pleased. The two men that serviced our house were very professional and explained what they were going to be doing in regards to the cleaning. They did a great job and cleaned up after cleaning each vent. I would definitely call Air Duct Maintenance again for air duct cleaning and any other service that they offer.

The day after our service, we noticed that some prescription medication was missing from our home. We filed a police report and an officer came to our home. No one else had been in our house except this business. We discovered prescription bottles missing, and some pills from one bottle were substituted in another bottle of meds that were currently being used by one us who was recovering from surgery (meaning the bottle was in the medicine cabinet; not stored under the sink in plastic containers like our other medication was). We learned that even though this company advertised that it background checks it employees, the type of check done only covers 24 months prior to the employment. A more expensive check would have revealed that one of the employees that was in our home had a prior drug-related charge. We felt violated, especially since this type of service requires the workers to have full access to your home, often in small areas such as the bathroom, where you cannot see (or hear due to the equipment) what the worker is doing. We had prescription bottles stolen in two of our bathrooms. The investigating officer suggested that the owner would contact us, and even offer some type of restitution. We would've have preferred some type of assurance from the owners that they would take immediate action to ensure that other customers would not have to endure what we did, but we never heard from the company again. Now we have an extra layer of apprehension with allowing service workers in our home. We keep prescription medication in a locked area, and we stay by the side of any worker that enters our home at all times. We joined this list to encourage others to do the same, especially when having services like this performed that can be particularly vulnerable to individuals that are looking to steal medications under the cover of cleaning equipment and with access to areas where people keep medications.

**follow-up on my 6/20/2104 Review** The company owner (Kevin) responded promptly to my call concerning the detached dryer vent resulting from our 6/19/2014 cleaning visit. He and I exchanged email photos of the problem vent. The original vent installation was a shoddy job which likely contributed to the disconnect when Airduct completed their cleaning. Kevin personally came to our home with the parts needed to repair the venting correctly and fixed the issue with no apparent charge for the labor involved (i.e. cost of materials only). He did not need to to this, and my spouse says it was an 1 1/2 hr job. I cannot say enough good things about this contractor's commitment to getting it right. Wish I could change my original "B" rating to an "A" given the positive resolution.

They did a good job. I am calling them again this year for this same issue. I have also used them for a complete duct cleaning as well.

Generally, a good job. The techs were professional and timely, and took the time to explain procedure beforehand and share their findings afterward. Would have rated an "A" overall were it not for the fact that the dryer vent hose (admittedly located in a hard-to access space) became detached from back of dryer unit during their cleaning, which was not discovered by us until after 2 loads of laundry were done later that evening. It took about an hour of my time to access it and get it back on (somewhat) correctly, and will likely require a professional at some point to ensure it's been refastened securely given the limited space in our laundry room. Again, a minor issue. Overall, we were satisfied with this vendor.

The techs showed up on time and quickly got to work. We had several other contractors in the home that day so it was a bit hectic but they remained professional and did the job in a timely manner. They did not suggest or try to upsell expensive unnecessary add on services.

Two workers came to clean the ducts. They were very professional and neat. The first thing they did was to put foot covers on their feet. They explained the process and removed all vent covers and cleaned them and vacuumed all of the ducts. Removing vent covers also meant that they had to move furniture. All vent covers were replaced after cleaning and the furniture was returned to its original location. Another worker came in a separate truck to clean the fireplaces. He also was very professional and neat, covering the carpets in front of the fireplaces. The fireplaces looked great when he was finished.

Kevin was on time to give estimate. Workers showed up on time to do the work. Completed cleaning although they were very rushed. However, when I used the air conditioner later my basement got flooded from the condensation water. During the cleaning a pipe connections came off so the water drained onto the basement floor instead of into the drainage pipe. In addition, the cover plate that closed the holes they drilled into the air duct was not properly sealed so air was blowing into the basement. I called Kevin and he responded promptly. The next day workers showed up 45 min late. They could not find the connecting pipe so Kevin called and he suggested that it may not be their responsibility but they would try to fix it anyway. This was nonsense as it was all fine for 20 years and the first time I used the air conditioning after the duct cleaning it drained to the floor. I did not appreciate the defensiveness and his message "we take care of you even if it may not be out responsibility". I finally used a flash light and found that the connecting pipe had fallen into the other pipe during cleaning. They also taped the cover plates to seal them properly, a task which they could/should have done the first place. They also could/should have checked that all is fine before leaving the job. So in summary, at the end it was all done. But it was not done right the first time which could have been avoided if workers were less rushed and had done a final check of the work. This cost me extra time I had to take off from from work which increased the cost of the work.

The estimate was for 500, but with tax the actual cost came out to ~550. The crew was prompt and professional. While I went with ADM due to their advertisement of truck-mounted (adequately sized) vacuum pumps, I was a little disappointed by the actual vacuum that was induced in the ductwork when connected. Cleaning was mostly accomplished by the "push" part (using a compressed air gun) of the push/pull equation, as evident by the amount of dust found outside of the duct work (as nothing is perfectly sealed) in the basement and some parts of the house (which they did clean up though with a Shopvac). Overall, I'd do it again however. Some tips: 1) Insist on getting the truck as close as possible to the building/main-trunk to maximize available suction. Pressure loss is linearly proportional to the length of hose used to connect the vacuum pump to the ducts, and the corrugated flex pipe further decreases that efficiency, so you'll want that length as short as possible. 2) Fully open up any dampers to remove additional constrictions. Even better, if you do have dampers in each branch, ask if they are willing to isolate each feed they are working on by closing all the others as they move between registers. 3) Have a set of new air filters available, so you can replace your old ones immediately after the cleaning.

Nick and Dave arrived on time, put booties on so my carpet would not get dirty, and both were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable doing the job. They cleaned all the air ducts, washed and dried the grates, sprayed the inside of all the ducts, and took before and after pictures of their work. They even helped me look for my cat when I thought she was missing. They completed the job in just under two hours. Since I just got a new dryer, I didn't need the vent cleaned out, but I will call them next year to clean this vent. Overall, I was very impressed with this company. When I first called to get information on the entire procedure, Nick answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I definitely would recommend them.

Doug and Jim showed up on time and got right to work. They removed a lint ball the size of a big cat from my dryer vent! They cleaned up the area where they worked and kept me informed every step of the way. Making the appointment was a breeze. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Professional all the way--will definitely use them again

Provider showed up on time, workers very friendly , explained what was going to be done and got to work. Service did not take nearly as long as the time the salesman said it would (2 1/2-3 hours), they were done in about an hour and a half. He said I would notice a big difference in the dust that would be in my house, which really hasn't changed much. Just thought the price was high for the service and time frame they were here.

Wonderful. My initial call was answered promptly. I was given very specific and detailed information about the process, what would occur, and in what order. I was also given information about how and why the company was formed and the purpose of air duct cleaning (my first experience). The team called and said they had a cancellation and asked if they could come earlier. So because of that, they completed the job much earlier than expected. They were neat and clean as they did their tasks. The house has warmed up and I'm glad I used them. Will use again. Only 1 problem, they left a heavy filing cabinet pretty far from the wall and I had a difficult time getting it back in it's place due to the weight. Otherwise, everything was great.

Professional service all the way around. I had many questions. All my questions were answered. The best part was when I asked a question the worker did not know, he told me, "I don't know that but I'll find out for you." Sure enough, the next day Kevin called me. This Company took the extra step for me. I am so glad I chose them and would use them again. The dust I complained about is gone. My home does not have that "closed up house" smell anymore. I really, really liked the services Air DuctMaintenance provided me. I am happy to provide them with a good review...they've earned it.

The men who performed the service were extremely courteous and polite. They arrived on time, explained the process, and set straight to work. They were careful, neat, and very respectful of our home. They were very thorough and efficient in their cleaning. The process took two men most of the day. They had before and after photos to show the amount of filth that a they removed. I was very pleased with their professionalism and would not hesitate to call them again.

I found this company on Angie's List with an A rating, and I can see why. Dave and Nick were prompt, helpful and solved the problem I was having with rodents and birds. They arrived a bit early and set to work after discussing my concerns very carefully. They explained what they could do. In a very short time they were finished. In addition to cleaning the dryer duct and vent they also had to attach the vent pipe to the dryer which had apparently not been done during installation of the dryer by the dryer "installer". They also fixed my bird, etc problem by attaching a louvered vent with spare screws they supplied. When they were finished the outside of the vent looked so much better! Previously, the pipe looked bad because it was just open ended with lint hanging out...it worried me because it vented beside the main door to the house. Now it is covered, clean and much quieter than it was. I imagine my clothes will dry faster, too. As an extra I had a coupon offered through Angie's List for 20% off! That was nice. He did clean the chimney. However, he knocked off the wire mesh covering. He did not seem bothered by that and was incapable of putting it back on because of the height of the chimney.

When I called, I was quoted a price which was honored with no hidden causes. The person on the phone walked me through the process of what would happen at the visit and answered all my questions. I scheduled a date, and was soon called to see if they could come earlier, and they were easily able to accomodate my schedule. The Technicians were very knowledgeable and helpful The job was perfomed as expeceted, and within the time frame estimated. I had no problems and my house was very clean afterwards. I am VERY please with the service and reliability of this company! Thanks!

He was on time and very nice. Told us after the cleaning that everything looked good and the fireplace was good to go.

I recently had all the air ducts in my house cleaned. Doug, John, and Chris arrived promptly at 8:00am. Went right to work and completed the job in 2 1/2 half hours. The crew was courteous, friendly and answered all the questions I had with great knowledge. I have recommended the company to my neighbor who is considering have the work done. Oh dear, there is some background required here. I called our home warranty company because our AC was not cooling the house down as it should. They sent the AC people and the technician said that as far as he could see, we had insufficient cold air return. We inherited this house from my MIL (Mother in law) and I thought, "Uh, oh. I think I know what's going on." And I asked the man to help me as I moved the couch and showed him the cold air return. Since before we inherited the house, there was a thick sheet of metal inside this one long return vent, blocking it off completely. I asked him if this is the problem. He said, oh definitely. This surprised me, because the people who installed our furnace in 2011 said that the blocked return was "supposed to be that way" and they left it. So the AC guy removed the metal and used my vacuum to begin to clean out the formerly closed off return and found a D-Con trap (rats go in and they don't come out) and there were body parts of rodents, feces and urine from years ago. Let me be clear that this house has had a ferocious odor. I have deodorized. I have burned scented candles, I have used Fabreeze. Nothing has helped. I thought it was maybe in the wood flooring, the odor. After my MIL's death, we emptied the home, cleaned it, painted it with four coats of paint, scrubbed the hard wood floors and yet the odor remained. When we inherited, my MIL (who had inherited from the great grandfather) was a hoarder and there was a rat infestation and it took us 2 thirty yard dumpsters and a ten yard dumpster to clear the hoard and then we had to tear down walls and rebuild the entire kitchen and bath, because there was an inch of rat feces in the kitchen, bathroom and in the basement. Nasty beyond belief. But we are go-getters and rehabbed this house, but there was still a persistent odor, which the probing of the AC Tech had just shined a light on. Dead rat bodies, feces and urine in the duct work. I am shuddering as I write this, folks. The AC Tech gave me Air Duct Maintenance's Phone number and I called them and told them about our problem. They price their services upon the information given by the assessment site for the county. Their price was dead on and their price did not change when they arrived and finished. I agreed to the price $500 plus tax) and asked for the soonest date that they had. The scheduled me for a week from my call, but called two days later and asked if I wanted to change my date to the following day. Heck yeah! They came with a big truck and did not cause any problems in our home. They were clean, careful and on time. The came in and removed the face plates off of the duct work and cleaned them all off. The sound that came through the home as they suctioned out the ductwork sounded like a million legos. But I knew it was not legos. It was parts of dessicated rat infestation and probably rat bedding. It went on and on. I have audio of it on my cell phone. It was horrific. They used an agent to prevent mold and fungus and to deodorize, after the ducts were fully cleaned. Then they cleaned the furnace. The removed my old filter and told me not to run the unit until I had put in a new one. I later ran out to Lowes and bought a new one and installed it. Easy. It has been a week. The smell is GONE. At first I thought it was just the spray that had created a clean scent. But no. Now when we leave the home, and arrive back, we are not hit with that old lady house smell. It is gone. I live in this house and have for two years, since we got it "cleaned" and when we would go on vacation or leave for the day, I used to get SLAMMED in the face with the smell. Sort of like how cat people don't smell it when you are in the house, but go away for a while and BAM, come home and you smell cats. Olfactory fatigue, they call it. Not anymore. This house is clean. This house was built in 1920. This was the FIRST time the duct work was cleaned in nearly a hundred years. The house does not stink anymore. I now feel so much more confident. I feel like I can have people over without knowing that they are smelling that horrible odor. The $500 that we paid for this service was a PITTANCE compared to how relieved I am that we are no longer breathing that stuff, living with dead things in our ventilation system. We are free now. Thank you so much, I hope that I have helped anyone with my story. I will also be posting a review for the AC technician, because he rocked, as well. When you find these good guys, you keep them forever. Good contractors are like diamonds found in the sand.
